They wasted way too much time on Marty's infidelity and the other inconclusive sub-plots. The cinematography was really well-done but the writing went to shit around the fifth episode. The ending was one of the worst in television history. They didn't expose any of the cult members and only killed one half-retarded guy based on druggie witness testimony. It was awful.
