Vinland Saga's fantastic, it hits some Berserk Boat tier bullshti though, but still neat.
Shigururui's a rather brutal samurai period piece about a swordplay school and how obsessive people were back then. Hope they're enjoyable to you.

I finished Doremi Sharp.
I was expecting it to be ridiculously sad but it wasn't as sad as I expected.
It did the pretty chill ''living forever sucks'' very well though. Watching your son from birth to death must have been a bitch. That last episode of Sharp was damn good but it would have been better if the gang actually remained asleep for 1000 years.
The ending of losing their powers was too similar to S1's ending but without the finding out that they're witches.

It's a cartoon aimed at little girls. There's nothing really that depressing except maybe Naisho 12. Dokkaan did leave me crying like no other anime could, but more in a bittersweet way. Sharp's ending was perfect because of how it cemented all the girls' love for Hana and their self-sacrifice. It really brought all the themes of motherly love explored in Sharp together.

KlK was pretty good for 5-8 episodes (fighting to be the top of the school) or so but fell bad as the show progressed. Nui and Satsuki being the only somewhat redeeming factor.
I forgot the name of the director but he had been planning KlK since 2008 when TTGL was being made and it shows.
There's a ridiculous amount of backdrop lore about Buddhism and whatnot which, while it was airing, made everyone wonder how great it would be and how it would connect to everything.
You know, the names of the characters referencing the four Buddhist monkeys and whatnot.

The whole WHAT DOES IT MEAN? image while it aired.

The problem is that none of it paid off.
Sure, it was basically a TTGL female version with womanhood being defined with what is worn versus what actually defines you via pro-sex 3rd wave feminism and fighting against a mother figure rather than the male oriented fighting for power was nice. There's a lot of good in it.
But by the end, it was clear that it was just a mess of a story because when ''the whole world is at stake'' and we only know about the school, it's really not interesting.
Hell, we barely knew what was going on with the rest of the world when the alien invasion happened.

And the whole war with other schools was also completely pointless.

There's a lot of it that was good in the first few episodes but it really fell flat.
It seems like the director really had been working on it for years than had to change most of his plans midway and it didn't work out.

It just ended up as failed potential.
By the end, I wasn't enjoying a single minute. And when that happens, it gets a negative.
