He's a 12 year old chucking the biggest tantrum of all time.
Still a qt.
You'd be like that too if you had to suffer though hxh hiatuses.
He's a kid who used to see the world as black and white who's facing the fact that everything is more complex than that and actually there are lots of grey.
And he's learning it the hard way through sufferings and moral dilemmas.
nah, just kidding, he's a psycho
He didn't see the world in black and white, though. He never had any objection to Killua's history as an assassin, and he has gotten along with Hisoka perfectly fine despite the fact that he's killed innocent people before Gon's very eyes. Morality only has ever concerned Gon when a person close to him has been hurt, such as with Pitou and the Phantom Troop. If he isn't personally invested then his attitude has always been that causalities are par for the course when you're a hunter.
>denial that his father is a prick "If he abandoned me to be a hunter, being a hunter must be awesome!"
>being socially retarded and making sexual advances on Killua without actually meaning to
>being stalked by a psychopathic pedophile clown
>being witness to hundreds of murders
>watching the closest person to being a father he ever had get murdered
I don't know, I would say literally everything is wrong with him.
>No paternal figure
>Raised by his aunt
>Spoiled to the bone in an island where nothing bad ever happened to him.
And then the closest thing to a paternal figure dies and he loses his shit.
yeah, he's also completely open to learning things that can be considered immoral. Remember the scene where the auction guy explained popular cheating techniques like making a hole in some container, emptying the treasure and filling it up with random shit and plugging the hole? Killua's first thought was how shady that was while Gon was just impressed with the technique. Gon has never been someone to think about morality.
>anime has great music, manga doesnt
>Morality only has ever concerned Gon when a person close to him has been hurt
Not true. In the Yorkshin arc, Gon gets angry at the Troupe for killing all of those people, none of whom Gon knew personally.
He didn't about allying himself with Hisoka temporarily
He didn't gave a fuck when that guy told him he conned people in the past with fake antique statues.
He even mentally commented that "Most people usually reprehend me when i tell them this, this kid is dangerous, he doesn't care about good or evil"
Nope. This was right after they massacred all those people at the auction. Gon was upset because of THAT, even though most of them were mafia lords and other shady types.
He didn't give a fuck about Killua because he didn't actually SEE Killua murder hundreds of innocent people, and because he knows that assassination is just the family business. He had already known Killua for awhile by then, he probably (correctly) assumed he wasn't a psychopath that would kill someone for fun.
>He didn't about allying himself with Hisoka temporarily.
No shit. It was advantageous for him to do so. That doesn't mean he likes Hisoka or condones his actions. And besides, nobody else in the damn manga seems to give a shit about Hisoka's murders and I don't see anyone calling them psychopaths.
>he probably (correctly) assumed he wasn't a psychopath that would kill someone for fun.
>probably correctly assumed
Keep your headcanon out of this.
Not trying to argue here, just wanting to state that Killua does snap every once in a while.
This show would be more interesting if nen wasn't a thing and the abilities shown in the Hunter Exam arc were just that, abilities.
It's pretty much unexplained now how Killua turned his hand into claws or how he did the Rhythm Echo thing with no nen.
Struggles with his homosexual urges towards his BFF, while being ignorant of BFF reciprocating those feelings but being too scared to make a move out of fear of wrecking their super-bro friendship. HxH isn't a shonen series, it's a Greek tragedy pretending to be a shonen series.
I agree that Nen feels a bit too unnatural for what this manga looked like it was gonna be, but then we got awesome stuff like Netero's power and I feel that it would be a complete asspull to say that the reason he can summon deities to fight is his gratitude and training. That's just an example.
I prefer the manga but the translations are really shit
Anon could always watch and read both at the same time.
No, they are not.
It is said that everyone is born with a natural aura, these sorpredentes Killua skills can come from there, however not going to achieve more complex things without first learning the nen.
Sure, but was fully determined to kill for greed island. He was uncontrolled in the chimera ant arc.
He was angry at their hypocrisy, Nobunaga's in particular, for being able to kill people without a single shred of guilt and then crying about a comrade. Hisoka as also killed a bunch of people but Gon has never been angry about him either.
They value everyone as equal shit. Seriously, though, it's like a gang that comes from a certain ghetto. They do what they want because they feel they're making things even with society.
You underestimate Gon.
Look up Mania on wikipedia, look it up.
Anime obviously. Coalgirls just finished releasing the entire bluray batch of hunter x hunter, i reccomend getting that. there's some slight differences between the tv version as well.
Granted that wasn't a kill for fun. Killua was having a childish tantrum because he couldn't beat netero.
The killing didn't even matter at that point; it was so deeply ingrained that it was natural.
It really would be too cute if they were actually in a canon relationship. I don't ship them and it isn't even my headcanon, but I would still be so happy if it happened, my heart wouldn't be able to take it.
>he went assassin mode when that dreadlock guy casted a spell on him in the beginning of greed island
ya and? he was confused and he thought his life was in danger. he still didn't kill him and he got over it after the guy left.
>>grinning like a faggot after ripping heart
johness was the one that wanted a death match and was talking shit about how he's gonna tear his body apart so he could hear his screams. anyone would want to boast about it after winning the fight.
>murdering a guy when his brother told him to go home, when he could've quit the battle any way he wanted
illumi made him do it dumbass, were you even paying attention.
>anyone would want to boast about it after winning the fight.
yeah, any batshit crazy assassin that would think about ripping another assassin's heart off to kill him instead of doing anything else would.
>illumi made him do it dumbass, were you even paying attention.
never confirmed. good job calling me out on not paying attention
Pretty much confirmed for platonic.
Just friends, guys, platonic I swear. Oh Togashi.
Don't be naive, we all know that boys have needs, and they're alone so often during their adventures. This is what Killua had in his backpack the whole time.
How does it feel living in denial?
Relax, it's just shitposting for fun at this point, there's nothing left to talk about with HxH that we haven't already talked about at this point.
HxH threads have decent discussion on a regular basis so not every thread is just shota lust, but like >>121931923 said there's only so much we can discuss the same things over and over.
Still though, stale conversations are not an excuse to sexualize the Killua.
This anime was pretty fun until chimera ants. What a shit arc. Why did it start taking itself seriously? Why is Killua running like may may naruto?
>Not liking Alluka
What's wrong with you?
Chimera Ant was super hype but it was so slowly paced. I was ready for this epic battle to take place over a few episodes but it turned into a 40 episode 2 minute battle that jumped back and forth over and over, showing literal seconds of fights. I kind of get it, so much was happening at once in a short amount of time, but it sort of killed the hype. The ending made up for it though. I cried like a baby for the king and Komugi.
Your shit taste has left me in despair
That isn't good art. Thats SCALE.
There is Zebras around the tree on the lower part. Next to them is something like a elehant, but a lot larger. Then there is the elephants, and the forest bug/bacteria crawler.
Then them ultiREX, and it keeps on going.
You are an idiot if you simplify CA as just powerups, Gon san was an extremely unconventional example of one and was used to great effect, particularly in regards to characterization.
Gon hated the troop for killing Kurapika's clan. The anger he felt over the other deaths they caused was just convenient justification. If he didn't already have a reason to hate them history shows that he probably wouldn't give two shits about their other crimes.
It's not a Naruto thing. Ninja and assassins are often portrayed running like this in anime and other Japanese media. The reason is that historically ninja wore much baggier clothing. Holding their arms behind them both reduced drag and helped them move more silently by cutting down excess movement.
While Gon is stuck on Whale Island for years a romance will blossom between them. We'll timeskip forward to a scene where Gon gives he a ring and promises to come back and marry her someday.
Half of the second exam.
Leorio opening the Zoldyck door alone and wrecking a guy on arm wrestling on York Shin.
A bunch of scenes on Greed Island.
Foreshadowing of Gon's potential (for malice and evolution, a parallel of Netero's rose)
Lots of other minor stuff.
That doesn't fit my headcanon. It isn't permitted.
Maha, Zeno's grandfather was also missing
Gyro's fate and foreshadowing of his future reunion with Gon
The Ryodan's letter and background information.
Honestly, if you like HxH and haven't read the manga yet you are a retard.
