The ending was pretty bad, while Gash Bell's ending was good.

Actually they explain it, it was all the demons watching Gash fight for their lives as a true king would so somehow they give him their powers to help him save them. Maybe it has to do with how they all accepted Gash as their king that activated it but that's just how I like to think of it

7-8/10 shonen. The appeal comes from the main cast all being total bros with each other, and the unique book spells each of them has. Or at least that's why I liked it.

Like Kanchome's final book spell is pretty JoJo-esque in that he can trap people in an alternate dimension of his own creation and it'll be so similar to the real world that they can't tell they're trapped outside of reality.
