Why do I get the feeling the writer of D-frag smokes some really good crack.
To be fair you can hear his retorts from several classrooms down with how loud he yells. They should challenge him to go a whole day without making those retorts to see if he'll be able to contain it. Through knowing them, Takao and Noa will be standing in for him.
68 by HCS is out. I think their clean is much worse than /a/'s though.
And the translation has some big differences too.
Is this magazine supposed to be "Alive" or "I Love?" I understand it's parodying Alive, but is that what it actually is in the text, because that title is "I Love."
Why is the Char Sui guy eating tonkatsu?
And once again, the ending marker has been erased from the page, for reasons unknown. Along with any side text.
So that's probably why there was confusion as per >>121915471, because that information isn't in the English release on Batoto.
Side text is just:
>Just hold on......
>You're doing it!?
But I don't know why you'd delete that either.
>Comic Alive is on Comic Pixiv
>"April 2015" Issue has Chapter 32 of D-Frag
Why the fuck do they do this shit? A 3 year time delay? Fuck you. Can't wait for this faggotry to end and we just get all of the current magazines as ebooks. It's so nice being able to pick up Evening magazine every 2 weeks digitally for like $3 or less with coupons.
I think you mean a magscan is available for every issue? Because I don't see it being sold digitally on ebookjapan, Honto, or Amazon Japan.
Other upside about digital magazines: No need for cleaning or stitching ever again. Just redraws to whatever level of autism you require.
Well if you find out where they're getting it from, I'd like to hear it.
And the problem isn't that it's possibly screencapped from a reader -- it's that they're fucking retarded and did it at 2048px when ebooks are mastered at 1080-1440px maximum, so it looks upscaled.
Capped at a proper resolution, digital mag source is awesome because the screentones are flawless, no need for stitches, cleaning, leveling, etc. Here is an example I made at 1400px. I'm not certain if the master resolution went to 1440 or merely 1080. I didn't see any obvious aliasing so I went with 1400px for the example.
>Seems like some public raw providers just switched to ebooks. Unfortunately, they don't know how to rip them so the only way for them was to screencap the whole shit. Worst part of it is that not all ebooks looks good. D-FRAG, for example, is 1200px and is in mediocre quality, so it the end all we got was blurred as fuck upscaled shit.
>Well, raw is clearly sreeencaps of ebook, an upscale even. Their editor didn't had enough brains to downscale it to original 1200px and remove black bars at the top and bottom. I don't think quality is their forte.
I use Infinite Screen to get the resolution I want, and the program even has a feature to "screencap" specific windows, which makes it fairly easy.
Just open as many new documents as there are pages, paste, advance the page, paste, etc. And it leaves all the screencaps with exactly the same dimensions, so you can automate cropping and saving them as well.
Also, the vast majority of scanlations are only 1200-1400px anyways. 1200px is fine.
I would gladly settle for slightly lower px when it means saving all that hassle/time cleaning shit.
>But I don't know why you'd delete that either.
Because "No, no... blahblahblah" is just some shit added by editor. Mangaka doesn't write this shit, editor does, so it's absolutely unnecessary.
I have decent raws for vol. 9. Give me a moment to upload them.
