First time I read the manga, I didn't realize he had got sex. Somehow, on my first read, those two pages remained stuck together and I didn't realize I has skipped it.

I've never seen anyone outright say they preferred the anime to the manga, so why bother?

I haven't read the manga but I've fucking loved the anime, I hated the love shenanigans between Murano and Kana but once Gotou finally got revealed it started getting really good.

Solid 9/10 for me whatever the ending is.

The Manga's art was distinctive back then, and it's distinctive now, but Madhouse, being the faggots they are, fixed what wasn't broken.

As if that weren't enough, the MC was infinitely more charismatic in the manga than he is in the anime. This was a trait that made him more human & relatable, and made for more compelling character development when he began to lose his humanity.

In the anime, he has a bottle of milk personality all the way through, matched by his bottle of milk appearance. Thanks Madhouse you fucking idiots.

I do prefer the original personalities for both Murano and Shinichi, but the story is mostly intact, so it's a rather minor nitpick at this point.

Not what happened at all. When he started the story, environment was a not so talked about subject matter. But by the end of it it had become quite popular and he felt he couldn't address it in such a simplistic way.

In the end, he take a stance that while it's a matter that can not be ignored, the "HURR DURR, NATURE GOOD, HUMANITY EVIL, LET'S KILL ALL HUMANS" approach, while alluring to some, is not the answer either.

Parasytes are simply following instinctive order, drone set to whither down humanity. PArasyt like Ryoko, who wondered about the meaning of their purpose, were the exception, not the rule. Most were like Mr. A, simply going with the flow.

It was actually an (WARNING BIG SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T READ THE MANGA)human who saw in them a purpose and decided to organise them with an environmental intent.

In the end Parasite are animals and they do not care more about the environment than a regular animal.

No, those conversations were all ABOUT arrogance. Shinichi himself was displaying ignorance, but the subject was arrogance of men. Just like the "demon" talk in next volume.

And I feel Shinichi only develops depth in the later volumes, which by that time the anime has already done the same.
Tamura (although not human), the private investigator, and Shinichi's father all I believe have shown good amount of depth to their characters.

Naturally Shinichi and Miggy have the most, as the story mostly revolves around the two's development. That's not poor writing, that's actually ideal writing.

I won't argue that many other side characters could have used some development, but considering the quality of the overall story, I think it's a minor blemish.

Again I ask, what the hell do you consider a good writing? You think this is complete shit, then everything else you read must be some fine literacy masterpiece.
