Do visual novels belong on /a/? Untranslated ones obviously belong on /jp/, but what about ones with english releases/patches?
ALWAYS TALK ABOUT VNs ON /a/ SO ANIMEONLYFAGS FEEL LEFT OUT
They belong on /jp/ regardless.
But to be honest, you can just start a thread with "I wish (Insert VN title here) got an adaption", then you're pretty much free to discuss it without any risk of the thread getting deleted.
Only when there's an anime adaptation and the thread is about the anime rather than about the game. Otherwise, they belong on /jp/ or /vg/. I mean, just look what's happened to the Best Key Girl threads.
/a/ is for anime and manga. If a visual novel has an anime or a manga variation, then it is allowed on /a/.
Otherwise translated visual novels go on /vg/ (in the visual novel thread) or on /jp/ if they're untranslated.
>So much bad taste.
THIS is the best girl.
I'm sure you can fit planetarian into your schedule, it has even got a steam release these days.
I found out why she was in the washing machine
Last time i've read the /vg/ thread it was pretty much /jp-lite/ though (not autistic enough to be on /jp/, but still almost only moonreading and "EOP" bashing/shitposting with little discussion).
Not like i don't see why it turned out like that, but still.
Saya no Uta.
One of the shortest yet worth a read VNs i can think of.
Best route : Hisui
Best girl : Akiha
Best vampire : Sacchin
There, I said it.
