I drink a mix of Isopropyl and apple juice.
Being beta as fuck and not being able to stop drowning in bitches
"Ehhh" has become one of my many overused phrases
"I guess it can't be helped."
>Sewing arm and being edgy.
How does one act edgy?
I say "teehee~" while doing this pose whenever I made a small mistake.
I push my glasses up with my middle finger.
I do the gendo pose.
I pray to itadakimasu before every meal.
I take off my shoes when entering a household.
When hurt, I say "a ta ta ta ta"
If I bump into somebody, I say "gomen"
When I got my first job at a store I had to constantly fight the urge to bow to people slightly.
In fact I wish I could bow in the west in general, since being able to physically show gratitude or remorse seems very handy.
>What habits have you picked up from anime and manga?
I listen to people speaking and then just go "mhm" like in anime.
90% of the time people are just content with that, in fact people just want to be heard.
I always using the phrase "denwa" instead of phone. And sit like this
I also call my brother with "-kun".
I sometimes rub the back of my neck like the producer from cinderella girls while one of my eye is closed, in hindsight the one eyed closed part is something I probably got from those cocky bad guys but the the only person I recall doing that is accelator.
"what, a dissapontment..."
"is that really all you got?"
"that was a waste of time." I actually read those lines in my head when asked with a question I didn't hear.
I just give little nods whenever I meet someone. Basically bowing without looking autistic.
Also Gendo pose and pushing up my glasses with my middle finger.
>Maybe if you're barbarians. Most people I know talk off their shoes at the front door.
In Italy you take off your shoes at home, but if you visit someone's house, you either just keep your shoes on, or they give you slippers to put under them.
I say ohayo gozaimasu when I meet up with friends in the morning
I say yare yare daze like Jotaro from Jojo's when something annoys me.
I do Jojo's poses when I get bored
I often say nani instead of what
I say so desu ka in response to people telling me something I don't give a shit about.
I tease friends by calling them -senpai when they go on a rant about something.
I nod my head slightly and grunt instead of just saying "I agree"
I eat way too much curry
There's probably more but I'm embarrassed enough realizing I do the shit I already listed
It's not as cute when a obese 29 year old man does it though. My social worker did put it into my file though and it helped with my benefit claim
Does anyone else do the thing where you climb a ledge or pull yourself up onto something and say "Oto"?
Frequent shrugging with eyes closed.
I never used to do this.
I do practice swings for no particular reason.
>create a facebook account (I had no choice, needed it for school)
>decide to look around
>girls who watch anime? wow!
>basically edgy goths
>they talk about being sugoi and kawaii
>pray to itadakimasu
>ORAORAOROAROAORAORA when doing something fast
>about to blow
severe social anxiety and pissing in bottles
I started hating people more.
And the Shaft tilt
>not already hating your fellow man
I now wear weighted clothed when I do my martial arts training.
15lb each leg. 15lb each arm.
20lb vest. 20lb belt.
>inb4 lol bullshit
It's really not all that much considering it's not dead weight.
>Client pushes a new requirement on us at the last minute
>Figure it'd be too much of a hassle to push back
>"It can't be helped" with a shrug
>Get praised for having the sort of "can do" attitude the company apparently needs more of
>glasses adjust with middle finger
>sit like L (good for the back)
>sit seiza (good for the back) (can do this indefinitely, even on hardwood.)
>squat to look at stuff and chill
>wear cute dresses with tights
>bought thigh highs, mild obsession with socks developing
>obsession with cute pantsu
>subtle cosplay (hiding in plain sight)
>eating fried eggs near daily
>don't care if I panty flash people while riding a bike in summer (actually enjoy it; this is just like my taiwanese fingerpaintings)
>also, using a bike as primary transportation, despite having a car
>drink a lot of tea. Between 4 and 10 cups a day.
>enjoy shooting guns, carry a knife, want to buy a bunch of cute guns once I get a job/money
What part of your leg hurts from it? If knee/ankles, you should improve your flexibility. If shin, you should lose weight, fatty. I've sat like this for years so it's super comfortable for me. It takes about a year to adjust to it completely. Since it's good for your back, you should start practicing!
I can also do that pose like seiza but with legs out. Pic related. This is uncomfortable for more than a few minutes, though.
I started making "hmm" noises whenever I think.
So do I, it's just too much fun.
Actually that's something I learned to do to hide the fact I'm a socially awkward introvert. By doing that (and a couple of other tricks), I can contribute to a conversation with out actually contributing to the conversation.
When ever I go on the dancefloor I always bust out Jojo poses for some on my dance floor.
I say ara ara ufufu~ while half-covering my mouth with right hand
Once piece style glassesadjust
jojoposes (but as a joke cause I'm straight)
homu instead of OSU
In Poland it's polite to let your guests leave their shoes on, but it's also polite for the visitors to take them off. Everyone takes off their shoes at their own place though.
Well that's probably not the norm of school around here, but we had a really lazy PE teacher who couldn't or wouldn't think of a proper PE routine so she just had us running for anywhere between 20-40 minutes for PE.
Sure I can give a couple of tips
>If you have trouble making eye contact, don't dart your eyes randomly or stare at the floor. There's a spot in between their eye brows you can kind of stare at. It makes it look like you're making eye contact when you're really not
>Mix up responses between repeating what they said as a question, and rephrasing what they said. But don't do this all the time, spread it out in the conversation or it becomes too obvious. This conveys to them that you were paying attention.
>Really asking questions in general is good as it encourages them to keep talking, while you don't have to say shit.
>The key to a good fake smile is raising the corners of your mouth.
>You can practice small talk when you're out and about. Just hide your watch and go ask someone randomly for the time in the street. Or comment on the weather or whatever the fuck at a bus stop.
There are other nuances too, I've picked up like body language and being able to sense the mood but that would take a much longer write up
Sometimes I wear spats under my dress.
I tried the spot between their eyebrows thing, apparently it makes me cross eyed, maybe its not the same for everyone else but its worth looking out for because it makes you look really silly.
Being a fujoshi is a thing but this is too much. This is heresy! Misaka really corrupted the young.
Started taking Moonspeak in college and a bit of it has turned into regular speaking habits.
>say "Eh?" instead of "Huh?"
>occasionally do the "Heeeeh?!" when surprised
>started using what our instructors claim are Japanese hesitation sounds instead of "Uh" and "Um".
>occasionally slip and say "Nani?" instead of "What?", same with some other single word phrases
It's not even intentional. We have nearly hour long classes 5 days a week where we aren't allowed to use anything but Japanese, so it basically becomes a force of habit.
>glasses adjust with middle finger
That's an anime thing? I've been doing that since I first got glasses. I also refuse to contribute my squatting to anime, I wholly blame
Indeed, I have an entire folder of Kanbaru.
The teachers are really big on intonation with that one, so it ends up really sticking with you. Luckily that one only ever slips when I'm alone or hanging out with somebody from class.
I go "PUNYUUUU" whenever I see a cat
Reminds me of a girl I used to know named Midori who liked anime.
Either get parents were huge weebs or it was a strange coincidence.
She was black so the former probably wasn't that likely.
If loving Kanbaru is gay, I don't want to be straight.
Really, though, I think anime has had an impact on my sexuality. I also like shy beta guys with plain looks.
Start lifting weights, rather than wasting your time. You have the drive to do physical activities, point it in the right direction.
I'm semi-rural NZ myself, 40 minutes drive to the gym. It's worth it if you want to improve your body.
You can do it bro. The only limit is yourself.
One day. I'm not sure how permanent my residence is and squat racks are hard to move around.
I studied german and tried to teach myself moon at the same time. I ALWAYS got them mixed up, when I was searching for a word. I'd usually catch myself before I said anything, but it got really annoying.
That's why when I picked up moon, I made a conscious decision to not fuck with other languages until I decided I was done with moon. Learning it's tough enough without other languages going through my head to fuck with me.
>put hand on the back of head
"never mind that for right now"
"can you call me onii Chan?
" can you call me sensei?"
"she's actually 1000 years old"
"even if you say that..."
I really hate to admit this, but I've started acting like anime girls. If a guy starts picking on me, I start to adopt a really passive-aggressive, tsundere-like attitude. Similarly, when I get praised, I act really embarrassed basically like >>121751518.
I would just like to stress that I am a beta and NOT a cuck. It's tough being a two-dimensional, 13-year-old girl though.
>I started buying Dr. Pepper and eating donuts because of Steins:Gate and Shinobu
Don't worry anon, i started eating a lot more apples and drinking more ale because of Spice & Wolf.
I'd say this is more a result of anime induced cravings than habits, but eh.
Fucking blog autists need to go back to /soc/.
I do that whole "backwards one handed wave while walking away" thing.
No one's called me on it yet.
These threads have virtually never been deleted before. Get out and stop trying to change /a/ to suit your tastes newfag.
It's obvious you're just looking for an excuse to dubspam like you do on /b/. If you feel the need to do so so badly, I suggest you stop trying to derail threads here, and go back to /b/ where you can post your dubs all you want.
>i want my off-topic blogshit to stay
Sorry, 2015-poster, that's not how /a/ works.
Now look at these, until the mods finally do their fucking job.
I yell "SWORD GET LONG" as loud as I can before masturbating
And I curse this thread with no more dubs until I say otherwise!
Ah, the hell with it. This curse is too much hassle.
My standing and walking posture started incorporating chuuni mannerisms in the past couple of years. I think the first David Animation Jojo anime triggered it and it won't go away since my otter mode build lets me pull it off perfectly.
I speak Japanese because of anime.
Also I live in Japan because of anime
when someone goes wrong I sometimes say kuso or someone pisses me off I say mata ku
when I'm morally against something I say kudaranai
kill me ;_;
I feel like you're mocking me but the one time I went full chuuni for my buddies, they were all reluctantly impressed and we all agreed that I should never do it again because it made everyone's skin crawl since it was so out of character for me.
I've slowly become less of a shut-in freak. Which is weird because, y'know, anime.
Maybe its natural development that's just parallel to me browsing 4chan, but you guys have been a net positive in my life.
To tell you the truth the only reason some people don't do it in the US is because they live in the south and they don't stop over somebodies house just to sit and have tea, everybody down there does some kind of manual labor so nobody really gives a shit if you go into their house with shoes on since it's already dirty as shit.
Most people take off their shoes in the US, but it depends on where you live and how nice your house is and who exactly is coming over.
Find myself inexplicably drawn to women above 6 foot
The way high ranking marines never use sleeves of their coats.
Though, I only do that if I get too hot while working outside and the weather is too cold to actually take the coat off.
I can get hard sometimes. I'm juggling university and 2 part-time jobs and It's a struggling trying to keep up with the 22 shows I'm watching this season and the 2 I'm knocking off my backlog. I'm only just now getting to monday's shows.
I want to pick up more stuff from this season but at this point I'm not sure I would be able to keep up if I did.
Jesus Christ, this fucking thread. Kill yourselves.
eating my little sister's PUSSYsmegma while she humiliates me for being cut.
>saying mhmm, and huh and shit
>wearing skirts and kneesocks
>doing the fucking peace sign and thumbs up
>sometimes winking for no reason
I didn't even realize why I did all of this until now.
>go to Japan
>half this shit is normal behavior
>you and your Japanese friends can laugh about differences in customs
My friend introduced me to some of her friends, and seeing them try to awkwardly shake my hands was phenomenal.
Edgy fashion with my school uniform
>I often say nani instead of what
I've done that a few times accidentally, but only with close friends who know how much of a faggot I am.
>I tease friends by calling them -senpai when they go on a rant about something.
Only fellow weeaboos.
Don't, you will die.
And tons of small chuuni habits in walking, sports etc.
Patting girl's head. Some of them don't like it at first but they don't mind later so it becomes a habit for me at high school.
I'm at the country where most population is Islam. If I can do it there, you can do it everywhere too anon!
I have one pair of underarmor spats I got from Marshalls. I suppose Dicks would have them, though they'd be expensive there. They're super comfy, anon, you should get them.
I've never even heard of those stores. Wish I lived in the US man.
I've been studying nipnese for a while now, and sometimes I mix spanish/english/japanese because I'm retarded.
I do the shaft tilt and cringe at myself when I notice.
And I'm fucking my fingers with the kaneki fingercrack.
I'm gonna kill myself
I sometimes greet people with "Hoy". I'm tall and have a deep voice, so I think I can pull it off.
When something annoying happens, I make a "kha" sound. It's like my version of "tsk".
I don't wear glasses often, but I adjust them with my middle finger when I do.
I completely stole Light's casual wardrobe (from death note).
I hate weeaboos. I don't conisder myself a weeaboo, I'm actually Japanese for real, well almost. I will be when I live in Japan though. Right now I'm studying japanese, japanese history and I'm following Bushido, the way of the warrior. This is why I hate weeaboos that know 5 words in japanese and use them all the time, kawaai baka DESU NE MOTHERFUCKER. I'm actually trying to become Japanese for real unlike all these faker wees. FUCK YOU WEEABOOS
So my question is, how good are my chances of becoming Japanese for real?
I wear cute androgynous outfits and I've gotten to to the point where me falling asleep in my classes is "cute" and people just choose to let me snooze
>Being this in denial about being a weeaboo.
People like you are the worst.
This so fucking much
I just constantly feel like my glasses aren't straight
