Unlike Wilfrid, Sekai is afraid of Nemesis and doesn't look forward to just having a fun fight with him, more like as if he knows it would be a truly desperate fight. He is the classic out-of-nowhere final boss material.

Try Fighters will lose the matchup and be relegated to playing with the Academy in the losers' club. And then Minato blows Nemesis away with the most Obari-charged, high-budget super secret attack, taking home the winner's cup.

So they made Junya out to be a secret boss this entire time and kept him in the dark without showing him fight a single time.
