I think NNB was more iyashikei/pure SoL while Gochiusa focused more on comedy/being moe as fuck. They're good for different reasons.

I loathed GochiUsa for the first few episodes.

Maybe I was just jaded but the show seemed to try so hard at being moe SoL at first that it just turned me off.

It got much better after they stopped going "LOOK AT THESE CUTE GIRLS WITH THEIR USUAL ARCHETYPES ACTING CUTE" and actually just let them go on with their usual lives.

As far as SoL goes, though, NNB, KinMoza and Gochiusa have been the best entries in recent years and all so close together.

Almost good enough to sit in my triumvirate of SoL with Aria, Hidamari and Keion. Maybe after a rewatch or S2, it'll become a tetrarchy or more.

How about Koufuku Graffiti this season? I like it so far, and I think it is more "comfy" than Gochiusa.
