Originally thought Erina was being a bitch for refusing to do the dishes but it seems it balances out because the head chef is a dick.
I'm not sure if that makes it okay.
Maybe it kind of does, since if Erina went with the flow and agreed without ever contesting it, she may have been stuck on dishes the whole week and failed.

This makes me wonder what the real test is meant to be. Erina's section implies it's about conquest, but I don't think that's the only solution.

As it turns out, a lot this week since there are THREE Jump Start series this week (that is, viz translations for 3 new series for WSJ). I'm going to proceed to dump World Trigger with its own thread, then I'll dump Gakkyu Hotei in a different thread and plop down the rest of the series, the rest being "Kagamigami", "Black Clover", and the newest series "Cyborg Roggy".

He was almost about to say that she was getting too complacent with those people. i mean look at her, she's smiling, thinking about them, wanting to be there for them. That's not good especially because the place may end up relying on the students TOO much, Erina doesn't seem to notice it either, I think the real test is improving those places to a point where they not only as good as they used to be but so good it's almost hard to believe they were the same shitty places they were prior to the students showing up. Tootsuki's ridiculously high standards are the only reason I think this way so I could be wrong.

Nobody gives half a fuck about this whole test or the restaurants.
What's important is the characters and overall story. Latter is apparently moving FINALLY, but the former in one certain case is stalled since chapter 1.
I hoped this is the moment when Erina's lack of people skills or something comes up and is even a slight issue, just to show she's alive and not some fucking robot from outer cooking space.
But no, let's just keep her like she was since chapter 1 and never move anything forward. This is the best way obviously.
