What is everyone waiting for this month?
>>121483395
I'm waiting for my January order. Finally made it to my post office but I can't pick it up in this weather.
Is this released in PVC?
Where is information formerly?

>>121483395
Can Badges. Figures have been delayed to March for now.
>>121483395
Been waiting for these three for quite some time, considering buying one of my expensive grails later this month as well since the following months are really slow.
>>121483395
Slutterfly and Kurumi nendoroid.

Waiting for SAL. As always.
>>121483916
There no intimacy quite like having pets in your butt.
>>121483395
My Saber and Yayoi, everything else has been delayed.
Steamship SAL is slow, I wonder how they're doing?
>>121483395
Satan and Ciel.
>>121483395
no figures this month, just getting the Photokano Ebikore game
>>121483971
Buy her figure and throw it straight into the burner.
>>121483395
Bought her pre-owned on amiami for 97k yen. Hope it's not hot glued.

>>121483395
>>121483395
I have nothing for this month, what I'm waiting on comes out in April; but I'm pretty sure Alter will delay it.
So I want to buy /v/ shit from ebten and then forward it through BiJ.
The only thing I want to know is, does ebten charges my credit card the instant I make my order or when the product is actually released?
>>121485016
I don't like this trend, but aside from that it looks marvelous. Shooped colors tho?
>>121485274
You're being sillypoi.
>>121483395
Some doujinshi and Sol, who will probably now bin at AmiAmi.

Still considering her. Dress is what keeps me off. its to wide on the sides
Why can't we have nice things?
>>121485720
I probably need to get either a Finnby or a Detolf before I get more figs. Running out of space on my shelf.
>>121485751
It's a shame how many things never even get considered for a PVC release.
>>121485717
Okay, thanks!
Also should I mark it as gift or just put a value under 20€?
I was thinking that having the figures as "used goods" would make it less suspicious for having such a low value, or maybe I'm just overthinking this

Hoozuki and Satan, maybe Zelda if she ever ships.
>>121485913
Silly anon, why make something new when Miku and Saber sell like hotcakes?
What's the difference between the renewal version and original?
The price difference is HUGE.
>>121486575
Don't think there's any difference other that some detail on the box.
>>121486575
Maybe the base? Mine isn't out of wood but brown plastic with some fake grass on it
>>121486750
>>121486839

Has anyone ever sent a ticket here and does it work?
My package has been stuck in a local sort facility for two weeks. I chose small packet which I know takes a while, but it's been sitting there, not moving, for far longer than it took to even get in the country. I'd like them to check on it before they lose it further, because it's clearly just sitting around somewhere doing nothing.
>>121483395
Hozuki, the Kyousogiga book and a couple other nicknacks.
>>121483395
This, a plush bear, and doll clothing. Not a lot coming this month.
>>121483395
Mikasa pushed back again. Maybe Laura will make it this month.
>>121487217
Just call them since they probably forgot about it. Canada Post can be a pain sometimes.
>>121485384
getting him saturday hopefully the paintjob looks better then some pictures i saw
To that guy I was asking last thread about the shinobu nanako poster, I found the official site for it. http://www.gift-gift.jp/etc/etc431.html
It's not c86 but rather Anime Japan 2014 where it was distributed. This is probably why I didn't find many results for it other than a couple auctions. I'm surprised how little in price it's gone up, though, since there are two on yahoo auctions Japan that have scarcely 1000 yen markup, and one guy has even sold multiple of them. I thought that guy was perhaps a Chinese bootlegger, but he actually has pictures of the item and I really don't think it is.
http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m130599924
Not really much point to this post other than to say thanks, I suppose. I guess I'll try and order this through a proxy or whatever.
>>121485016
Is that the old prize fig or proper pvc release? ;_;
>>121489817
proper pvc
>>121489817
>>121488905
she sure loves donuts.
>>121488905
Ah yeah that was me, sorry about that. I don't know why I said C86 when I know that it's from Anime Japan.
I was really surprised at the price too, I think I paid 4k to get it from Mandarake. Although the matching nanaco card and postcard set go for around double that price I believe.
Is mandarake acting up or is this a sign from above that I need to stop spending money?
>>121490137
The nendo looks so shitty next to all those sexy scales.
>>121490137
The only listing on mandarake (which is sold) was 5k. Don't know if that was you. I think mandarake clears old entries out but this wasn't that long ago. I'd probably pay that much for it, though with shipping you're paying quite a bit for a wall scroll.
>>121483395
10lb 14k yen box of shit from yja and suruga-ya, and a daki comission
>>121490137
Isn't that couch figure super expensive? I don't even particularly like it but it was like a rare prize from a lottery or something, right?
I wish there were more shinobu figures I liked. Kotobukiya one isn't half bad, but it doesn't compare to the GSC one which I bought just before it got reprinted (goodbye $100+). I'd really like one of teen shinobu.
>only scale I own is Jason
>everything else is either nendos or model kits
>Want more scales but most don't have removable bases
Why is this? Some of these figures would look ten times better without them.
Neat, it's been over a year since it was announced.
>>121490137
Too many donuts.
>>121490268
The 5k listing was probably me then since it's the only one i've seen pop up on mandarake so far. I think it looks really cute so I bit the bullet and paid for it . I was scared the price would go up since it was an exclusive, although that doesn't seem to be the case.
>>121490461
What? Most figures do have removable bases. Pretty much the only ones that don't are a few from Kotobukiya.
>>121490804
Have you ever been to mr. donut? Some of their stuff is nearly as good as many of the fancy ass donut places I've been to in NYC, and it's fucking everywhere in Japan. They even have a cronut, or at least they did when I visited over the winter break. Any sane person would go nuts over that.
Managed to buy her for 25k
YES! Finally. I can relax.
>delayed
And I was so excited of getting this figure of my waifu. Fuck.
>>121490919
Wait, are you fucking with me? I thought Jason was special for having a magnetic base, you can remove the plastic ones?
>>121491092
It's a sign from above that you should get a waifu who isn't indefensibly shit.
>>121491084
Pink is better.
>>121491176
Most figures have a peg you have to push into them or whatever. Relatively few come pre-attached to the base unless they are quite simple, and if you really wanted to many of them are just screwed in. It depends on the figure.
>>121483697
On tuesday I saw her in mandarake, so I ordered her. Today I got an email from mandy, sadly I didn't get her.
>>121491222
Oh god I hated the pink.
>>121491176
>>121491229
I think I prefer the bases that are screwed on. I've had like 4 figures just break right off their bases because the pegs were too weak to support them long-term. The Alter K-ON figures are nightmarish in this regard.
Not sure why metal pegs aren't used more frequently.
>>121491566
Metal pegs add another step to the manufacturing process. And besides, unless you have a pair of ham-hands or you habitually drop your figures plastic pegs are fine.
>>121491186
Hey man, fuck off. Miki is great and I love her.
>>121491821
Not too mention that they're probably more expensive to make as well.
>>121491821
Most of the time, yes, they're fine, but some just snap when they're sitting on a shelf. You're lucky it's never happened to you.
>>121491040
I'm waiting for the inevitable rerelease when HF is a thing.
>>121483395
These plus amakuni's Utsutsu
Okay, I need help. I ordered things off suruga-ya and Yahoo Japan through goody-japan, and my first order arrived on february second. I found something else I want on YJA, but I'm scared to order it, because I'm worried it won't get there by the second. The shipping costs 180 yen, do you think it'll make it to Goody-Japan before they throw my shit out?
Am I doing it right?
I'm buying a shirt off mandarake, should I get DHL shipping and how much would DHL be to ship a shirt to the states? SAL would be cheaper right? but SAL has no tracking and takes longer doesn't it?

>>121495587
Where'd that come from?
>>121495434
>>121495479
I checked the guides (buyfag and shipping specific one). Both only say that DHL is expensive for amazon and can be cheaper on Mandarake (specifically for buying doujinshi on Madarake because they charge based on size). DHL isn't mentioned in any of the charts or pricing. I read around that a medium size shirt weights about 200grams but it's larger than a doujinshi. I don't really want to pay $15-$20 to ship an $8 shirt.
>>121495066
Just buy what you want.
Renge a cute.
BTW, try posing Renge looking at Rias or someone else taller than her.

>>121496114
That's because no one's really sure how DHL charges Mandarake. Besides, you can select DHL and in the notes ask to use SAL if it's cheaper. Mandarake's pretty accommodating about that.
>>121496303
I figured someone here has bought a shirt off them and chose DHL. I guess I'll just leave a note, thanks.

So how's the lunar new year going for anons? Did you get any extra buyfagging money?
>>121495648
>saber market collapses
>marketing struggles to come up with a new sales workhorse
>after long, sweaty meetings, fueled by cup ramen, poring through various franchises assessing the qualities of all the girls they finally find a suitable replacement
>asuna from SAO
>[X] comes with multiple personas
>[X] lots of clothing swaps possible
>[X] sortof bland, easy for fans to project personality onto her as they wish
>[X] established franchise and fanbase, appeals to younger generation
And thus they begin pushing the franchise further, rolling out more merchandise than ever.
The king is dead. Long live the king.
>>121484762
Typo aside you made a great choice. She's one of my favorite figures of last year.
How likely is it for AmiAmi to restock sold out BDs on preorder?
>>121496633
It's nothing to do with New Year but I'm getting a bonus next week andit's my birthday tomorrow.
>>121490245
In person that's not the case. Which is why they're so popular. Scales photo better, but Nendoroids look so much cleaner on your shelf. They don't have little flash or bad paint jobs because all the pieces are easy to paint.
Also it's much harder to become jaded with Nendoroids.
With scales, the really old ones you sort of get tired over the ones you're not crazy about. You get tired of looking at the same thing over and over and want to mix it up with something new eventually and it just takes up space. With Nendoroids I don't think that's ever the case. You just swap them or put them in another pose.
>>121497656
>they don't have bad paint jobs
Have you ever looked at a Nendo up close?
>>121497819
If you were talking about cupoches I'd agree, but nendoroids tend to get it right.
>>121497656
What are you on about? Nendoroids look terrible on the shelf, especially when you have a lot of them. They're all mostly the same height so it ends up being a sea of sameness
>>121497819
They aren't alter scale tier but they're certainly not bad.
>>121497574
Happy birthday anon!
I resisted pre-ordering, then I regretted it immensely. Got her on MFC for what it would have cost anyway.
>>121498672
spooky
>>121497656
I recently bought my first nendo, it was a big disappointment.
They look way cuter on pictures than in reality. Especially the nose is disgusting.
The paintjob is, while it is acceptable, not as good as I'd expect from a small thing that costs $50.
The joints don't look very good and don't work that good, you can only do the poses that are advertised, everything else will look shitty.
There are lots of flimsy parts that don't fit tightly.
The stands are ugly.
>>121498824
Which one is it?
>>121498672
She's on my to buy list with Snow Miku 2013 and 2014, those are damn expensive. How much did yours cost?
>>121498824
I already got hooked on nendo cocaine at the point of having more than ten and now I really like them, the combining faces and parts for posing is really the point of them, to get you to buy more.
my main complaint is that the torso part of nendos aren't standard, fuck I wanna put naked Aoba's chest on Homura, Araragi or other lolis and it doesn't fit right, my erection is wasted. Sakaru's torso is another example
>>121498824
Was it Snake?
>>121499153

The dollar is quite a bit stronger now, good time for buyfags.
>>121499580
>the dollar
The US dollar. Canadians are still getting fucked by rates.
she arrived! and with a free postcard. She's a lot bigger than I expected, comparing her to shinobu.
I asked yesterday but didn't really get any satisfying answer so I'll ask again.
I am looking for a good dakimakura stuffing pillow.
Does anyone have any suggestions where I can get one? I live in Sweden so buying one from a local store is pretty much out of the question, and I even have difficulty finding a store with reasonably priced stuffing as well (if I were to make my own).
Does anyone know of a good daki stuffing pillow from a store with international shipping? I would like for it to be pretty firm.
The ones in the guides are either out of stock or seems to be really bad.
The one melon-pan has here seems good.

Other than that, I would suggest going on Hobby Heart and getting a blank or custom one, or making your own. They're just rectangles, if you have a sewing machine, making one wouldn't be hard at all.
Has anyone had success with melonbooks and any other forwarder other than BiJ?
I tried to order some doujins, but they canceled my order because they knew the address was to a forwarding service.
>KMB Sonya/Yasuna figure delayed yet AGAIN.

Have you guys heard of the new Nendoroid line being released? From Kahotan's blog:
>Nendoroid Co-de is a new addition to the Nendoroid series based on the theme of dressing-up characters!
>The figures have fixed poses and each come with four parts – the head, upper garment, lower garment and shoes. Each of these parts can be swapped between characters allowing for all sorts of possibilities.

Why GSC.

Hello. I'm not exactly a regular on this board and I'm not interested in figurines.
I have found that an unfortunate amount of Morinaga Milk's work is not on many popular sites such as Dynasty due to it being licensed.
What kind of quality are these licensed and translated editions and are they worth it in your expert opinions?
>>121501078
>>121501167

>>121499698
The best answer you are ever going to get is to use a forwarder (or full-service proxy if lazy/scared) to get an A&J from Amazon Japan.
Make sure of which size you need (1500mm or 1600mm). Be careful about ordering the DHR600x series unless you know the non-slip surface is what you want.
There is no longer an OEM model of A&J sold at stores like Amiami, etc so you need to go through their website or their Amazon store.
Of course you could settle for a Cospa from Amiami, etc. if you really want to, but those are lighter weight.
>>121501615
Also, would these both be the entire series, or just the first two volumes respectively? It's not clear to me.

>Other than that, I would suggest going on Hobby Heart and getting a blank or custom one, or making your own. They're just rectangles, if you have a sewing machine, making one wouldn't be hard at all.
I have thought of that but I can't really find any stuffing either. I might be able to find regular cotton in some random store but when I made a pillow in school that type of cotton just ended up becoming big lumps. Felt awful.
I found a forum thread on a Swedish forum where someone was asking for it as well. In the end the only two options he/she ended up with was buying regular pillows and then gut them, or get some really expensive stuffing from a specialty website (for me that would end up costing over 100 dollars just for the stuffing).
So yeah... I really want to find a premade one if possible.
Does anyone have the Hobby Heart one? Is it good or is it very soft and/or lumpy?
>>121501615
They're reasonable as far as I've been able to tell from them.
While the print quality is obviously not making me squeal with delight, it's still comfier than an e-reader or computer screen.
You cough up money for them to coax Sevenseas to license more yuri. They've been pretty clear on this.

Also I did read as much of that other one as is on Dynasty.
>>121501672
Is it complicated to use a proxy service, and how much do you think it will cost?
I would be perfectly fine with Cospa, I think, but the issue is that they won't be released until mid May (and after that there is a quite long shipping time to Sweden).
