But frankly, with magic swords, there is no limit. 1 sword against mages, 1 more sword against mages running a particular protection spell, 1 sword against vampires, 1 sword against giants, 1 sword against extra-planar beings, 1 sword against evil-doers, 1 sword against dragons, 7 swords only for their protective properties and 1 sword for better shopping prices. Then you also need at least one blunt weapon because not every enemy is vulnerable to slashing or elemental damage.

here let me explain how it works from the perspective from an actual fa/tg/uy:
a bunch of friends get together and if one person in the group is a fan of TRPG's, the others will get dragged in at some point, this leads to oftentimes groups and games being made.
odds are they knew each other in their early days and this led the lot of them to get around to doing something like this.
I'm pretty convinced Nasu is the one who set this whole mess up, it seems like he would be the type to drag a group of friends into a TRPG campaign.
