I really want to like Saekano but it's just not very good. It has its moments of being genuinely clever, and it also every now and then pulls something that's actually funny, but most of the time it's just plain, generic, and uninteresting.

I mostly find it entertaining since it makes direct anime references and it's a harem aimed straight at the otaku community. The characters thought are the weakest part of this show, as the girls are average at best and the MC is /a/ incarnate.
