Unconditional love (psychotic obsession) has never been something that's appealed to me.

I want to know that the character I'm interested in has a good head on their shoulders and a good reason for being interested in their love interest. That falls more in line with the tsundere archetype than it does the yandere one.

Jojo - Diamond is unbreakable's Yukako Yamagishi is the earliest I can think of. The manga was published from 1992 to 1995
