SHAFT is doing rather great, albeit they need a new big hit to play up with big guys - but they are quite financially successful and very well developed compared to pre-monogotari times where they were one of worst studios production wise. Creativity suffered and they just reuse shinbo style over and over, but given nice material might do big anime again.

Trigger is successful as long they have Aniplex backing. KLK was big but not enougth to make them independent - their production entirely depends on financial backing, since they lack resources to do stuff inhouse much. Their next show is either big hit or miss. The Daily battles shown they are not better than any other stuido when not doing original stuff/having limited budget.

Kyoto animation is far from dead, in fact - it grows rapidly in financial and production aspect, increasing its infrastructure and building own little publisher/rightholder empire. KyoAni is becoming the this ages Toei/Sunrise - huge number of people working and big money. They just now need to make video games and toys too - LNs and music and merchandize rights are already in.

Madhouse is dead.

MAPPA is certainly to good start and hope will continue like that.
Trigger myth got busted with Daily Battles, so their next show is "do or die" in attempt to maintain their reputation.

Ordet seems quite dead.
Liden Films is upcomming new generation.
Tatsunoko is doing a very good return.
Lerche is new gen but doing meh so far.
Seven Arks is great albeit own niche.
