I just finished YuYuYu and regret not picking this up last season like I'd planned.
It was fun; I was waitingfor somebody to die with all those death flags. And then got worse, in my opinion, as they started suffering by living through disability.
The break-up between stuff happening with slice-of-life in spite of events, trying to resume their every day lives instead of piling on the suffering as the series progressed was pretty nice.
I can't decide on best girl, but I'm leaning towards Karin or just all of them. I loved how hot-blooded Yuki could get, too.
Thanks to the anon in the stalker thread who linked me to the epilogue http://pastebin.com/UX1g45js
Merchandise fucking when?
I guess nobody wants to talk about it right now. Fuck not starting it last year.
>>121070303
There's not much left to talk about, wait until the PsVita game is released which will surely spark a lot of new discussion hereAnd you really missed out not watching it while it aired
>>121070586
I guess it can;t be helped with the series ending being so conclusive, even with sequelbait.
Honestly, a part of me just wants cute and fun pictures to fill up a folder with.
>>121070805
I don't really think the ending was conclusive, and the threads following the ending didn't seem like that either.
Also if you didn't know, a sequel is pretty much all but confirmed in the bonus LN chapter

Does this have anything new ?
Also the person who drew that one radio episode made another one.

The fight scenes don't look as shit as I remembered them, or maybe it's just because a picture doesn't capture it's clunkiness
>>121071107
It felt conclusive to me, in that if I had just watched the anime only, I could accept that Yuki's story is over because they resumed their everyday lives. It also left it open enough for a sequel if need be, with or without the hero club after what Karin said to Fu on the beach about their potential juniors.
I read the bonus chapter thanks to another anon mentioned in the OP. I'm looking forward to it and the new system. More so in that it also brings up the possibility of using other teams instead of Yuki & co. if they really want, even though it's obviously still going to focus on the hero club.
But that's me.
>>121071315
Bitches in santa costumes told me around christmas that it was still in making so the makers would still upgrade and power up it.
I feel for you, OP. Falling in love with this show each week, getting snippets of LN spoilers and trying to put them together, slowly getting translations for LN and 4koma and suffering with other anons towards the end was something else.
Now all that's left to do is wait for more material and announcements. Even the circlejerking seems to have burned out.
>>121072163
Threads aren't fun if you have them about the same thing everyday. Once in a while it's fine to have one even if there is nothing to talk about.
>>121072163
Where can I find the 4koma? Batoto?
>>121070805
If you'd been here a month ago...
>>121072227
Tell that to the folks at the Homu threads.
But yes, I agree, it's just that most threads after Sonoko After have been short-lived regardless.
>>121072228
I don't have the link on me, but check the archive for Yuuki Yuuna threads and search for pastebin links, you ought to find it quickly enough.

Will season 2 be able to replicate the episode 8-12 ride?

Better?

Yes
Berseker Karin a best
I thought Togo was right but seeing Yuuna saving the world made my day.
>>121073260
The funny thing is that Togo was technically right; if things had continued the way they were going, they would've all became logs and it's likely that the Shinju would've been destroyed eventually. You can only withstand a siege for so long.
It was only Yuna's and the rest of the Yuushabu's bravery that convinced the Shinju that the humans could fight back; it was nothing short of a miracle.
>>121073675Aren't Magical Girls known for making miracles happen?
>>121072833
Sincerely, no.
It might have some crazy or hype moments, I mean, there would be surely a storm if one of the girls die or if there is a Yuuna/Tougou kissu but that ride from episode 8 to 11 was just something else.
Some dislike the show for leaving all the suffering to the end but for me that is what made it so fun to watch.
I remember anons saying something on the line of "suffering on other shows is usually a sudden punch to the face, here it was like being slowly and discretely poisoned/chocked"
The first four episodes were full of deathflags and being a post-meguka mahou shoujo everybody expected shit to happens. Episode 5 being a complete victory caught us by surprise and threw everyone's expectations up in the air, then comes episode 6 with the promised dark side finally being delivered, yet it was delivered in a fucking smooth way with zero shock value, it takes three tense and a half episodes (The director was really smart for using no BGM on episode 9, it created such an oppressing atmosphere) for things to start to tumble down and then they just keep tumbling down non-stop, not only with the previous SoL moments ending up badly but also with new reveals like the world being fire (People remember episode 9 and 11 the most, but if I remember correctly episode 10 was the true shitstorm episode with Tougou's sudoku and the world being almost like a hell)
>>121073599
>I wish I was at home with Yuuna
>>121073599Sonocuck
>>121073875
Is what I thought.
So what if in season 2 the stuff that happens to them will actually stay permanent? I mean we feel so save now because of the S1 ending that we surely won't expect that.
>>121073599
>What? I can't hear you over the sound of my breasts
>>121069912
>YYY
is this a good watch for someone with a girlfriend?
last anime she ever watched was sailormoon and ranma.
>>121073675
but I don't get their recovery, if that was Shinju's fault, why Shinju did that to all the magical girls?
I missed the airing shitstorm too and I regret it.
>>121073999
>ripping limbs off
Aww yeah nigga
>>121073999
>>121074055
Or better, Yuushas have to cut their body parts off if they want to force Mankai
>>121074000
Its a good sound.
>>121072833
Maybe, but it's going to be difficult since they can't pull out like Sange again. Plus everyone will definitely be expecting for things to be dark, so any huge tone shifts will lose their shock value.
>>121074043
The girls disabilities were essentially sacrifices to the Shinju in exchange for using its power. As Sonoko said, even though the Shinju is on humanity's side, it's a god so it probably doesn't think along the same lines as humans. It's stated in Sonoko After that after seeing the Yuushabu's bravery in Episode 12, the Shinju decided to return those sacrifices and allow for humanity to move from a defensive war to going on the offense.
>>121074055
>>121074111
That's what I thought would going to happen, not exactly ripping limps off but once you are unable to fight due to sange/wounds whatever and the Vertex don't focus you anymore you need to find a way to receive damage to force their Mankai.
