And by the way, the best method of keeping two bodies warm is to get as close as possible without clothes but wrapped up in a blanket. That way you can transfer heat directly. Clothes themselves are not intrinsically warm, but skin is.

Yes. The LNs are just based on the anime. It just happened that the first LN covered episodes 1-6 and it came out before episode 6 actually aired, but it's still anime original. Pic related is the LN cover.
Second LN will cover episodes 7-12 and I don't think it comes out until after the anime is finished.
