What the fuck is this even about?
Since this is the only thread I could find, should I use Commie's BDs or Coalgirls's BDs for Nekomonogatari (kuro)?
It's in the fucking name. Can you not read?
Its about whiteknight helping bunch of girls with their problems.
He ends up making tons of waifus.
I'm pretty sure they are still going to sub it, it's just that some of their members went on holiday or something.
Been a while since I looked it up so could very well be wrong.
It's about a likeable and alpha son of a bitch dealing with girls with supernatural curses that reflect their personal problems.
It's pretty funny, but most of it is just the character talking. It also has great character moments and when you think they ended the character development the author goes on.
>bat will never sit on your shoulders and nibble on your head while teasing you
they are probably waiting for the BDs
Also I still want then to post the BDs of the rest of second season but I'd be happy if they gave us Tsukimonogatari.
Also I miss them on Jojo when they are really needed for the effects and the terrible name changes crunchyroll is doing. Meanwhile they are subbing a bunch of stuff I don't even watch.
shut up anon, I'm drunk, tired and sad
fucktons of fanservice and a guy helping out people haunted by ghosts
some people on /a/ will tell you its DEEP AS FUCK and handles some PRETTY SERIOUS ISSUES but I honestly think its thinly veiled excuses to put your favorite harem / fanservice show on some kind of psuedointellectual pedestal.
A deep and complex story for advanced to expert level anime connoisseurs, such as myself, exploring the supernatural occurrences in sexually frustrated women through a psychological model of the occult.
best girl thread?
>but I honestly think its thinly veiled excuses to put your favorite harem / fanservice show on some kind of psuedointellectual pedestal.
It is, but it doesn't devaluate the merits of the show. It's not 2DEEP4U, but it's certainly better when it comes to characterization than not only harem shows, but most shows in general. It's well written and well directed. I can't imagine a Monogatari anime without SHAFT with its surreal visuals.
Pretty much. It's not a bad show, but it's not deep. The writing is intelligent, the directing is great, and compared to most fanservice harems, it's characters are a lot more well written and fleshed out.
I've only seen Bake.
Now that's just bullshit.
>best girl thread?
Let me fix that picture for you.
You know your writing is shit when you literally have to force a self-reflection character because every other character sucks your dick.
>I've only seen Bake.
Nise is entertaining but it's kind of a low point. After it, it goes back to be as good as Bake
in my opinion
Though I remember Araragi being shy in the anime of Bake, which contradicts Neko White.
If it wasnt SHAFT it probably wouldnt be as popular as it is.
Ping Pong had great, believable characters and very interesting visuals, but no hot girls. It didnt stick, but I guess bakemono happens to appeal to a wide audience by virtue of the things I just mentioned.
He does progress in that department, from Hanekawa baiting him and calling him a chicken, to full on molesting every girl in sight. But I still don't know if I'd call him alpha.
I've never been a buyfag, so how do people keep track of when figures are up for pre-order? I don't want to miss getting the Kiss-Shot one.
>If it wasnt SHAFT it probably wouldnt be as popular as it is.
I think you are right about popularity, but the quality itself is there in the text. Makes me wonder how it would work under another studio.
I know modern Kyoani would butcher the story (older Kyoani might work), A-1 would make it too straight foward.
For that matter I think people will rediscover Ping Pong in the future and acclaim it as it deserves.
He's a masochist and oftentimes incredibly passive, but still takes the initiative and is not easily swayed. Basically, despite being a fictional character he's human enough to be inadequately described by the simple animalistic alpha-beta behavioral patterns.
>Obviously never read Kizumonogatari.
I downloaded the book a while ago but haven't touched it yet. I'm sure he's probably a betafag there but seeing him later in the series it's clear character development happened.
I thoroughly enjoyed Bake, and I'm planning on watching everything else before Kizu. I was honestly prepared to just brush it off as haremshit, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's got a very interesting theme with all the monsters and whatnot, and it's just a genuinely high-quality show.
Check the buyfag threads, myfigurecollection.net, and GSC's website.
>mfw Medusa arc
Ok, I get oddities are as real as the human that believes in them, but then by believing in them enough they can turn a human into an oddity itself, or more accurately, a human can turn itself into an oddity. What? It's so fucking surreal and I'm not sure if I'm missing something because of the writing or it's some sort of japanese culture thing
>implying that seeing bat cry didn't make it the best
>I just think it suffers the slightest from the EVA fanbase syndrome where they really read way too much into it.
I think any form of entertainment that makes you read way too much into something is worth those discussions. Not necessarily because it's the author's intented purposes, but because it made people think, maybe out of their confusion, maybe because they found something interesting buried there.
Dunno. I don't think it's bad up until the deepfags appear and shove their annoyance up in everyone's faces.
Haven't yet watched Tsuki, but have read enough threads about the bath scene. How did incest ruin it? Such a huge part of Monogatari is the incest, whether it's depicted or implied. Who cares?
The only argument I can see is that it's unnecessary outside of fan-service, but if that's the case, you're watching the wrong show.
That should be the goal of any medium. An author might have a different intended meaning, but as long as it provokes thought and discussion, what's the problem?
Because it is very unnecessary.
I thought the dialog was fun, but paired with araragi fondling his sisters tits is just weird.
I thought the toothbrush scene with Karen was weird too.
What is with the incest?
>Such a huge part of Monogatari is the incest, whether it's depicted or implied. Who cares?
It's funny to rewatch Bake and see that scene with Araragi telling Senjougahara that being a siscon is just a fantasy
or is it metacommentary? deepest lore
It's a bout a Vampire detective guy who goes around solving supernatural/paranormal events with the help of his friend who happens to be an expert on supernatural/paranormal things. Also, the victims of the cases he solves are 100% of the qt 3.14 waifus that he adds to his never ending harem.
Best girl is neko.
>I thought the toothbrush scene with Karen was weird too.
I thought it was kinda brilliant because both discovered they were into it. I think Hanekawa taking a bath with Senjougahara was weirder in the context of the story.
Haven't watched Tsuki yet though.
Dumbasses, tell me why the incest is important.
Anyone who has a sister knows its nothing like that. Its just straight up pandering to people who don't have actual sisters.
> I think Hanekawa taking a bath with Senjougahara was weirder in the context of the story.
It just showed that they're bisexual as fuck.
Why does everyone call Bake the high point of the series? The second season has to be one of the most enjoyable things I've ever watched. The time travel arc, Neko: Shiro, Hachikuji, and Kaiki were all so fucking good. Seeing Senjougahara getting emotional at the beginning of Shiro was cool too.
>Why does everyone call Bake the high point of the series?
Hipster creed. Because it came first and only the original is good in their eyes. It's still a great part of the series though.
>Anyone who has a sister knows its nothing like that. Its just straight up pandering to people who don't have actual sisters
I thought it was good, but personally I think that the series is at it's best when it's Araragi interacting with characters. Half of the second season doesn't have him in it. Still really good though, just Bake seems much more complete-ish is the best way I can think of to describe it
Exactly how it looks like. Another generic echi harem shit. Slowmotion some scenes so they can brag how artistic it is.
Honestly, I can see why incest might rub people the wrong way. I'd never think of my sister that way and I imagine a lot of people feel the same
That doesn't stop incest from turning me on in hentai though. It's OK when other people do it
What did you hate about Kabuki? It's honestly one of my favorites.
I don't think it has anything to do with how important it is in the context of the show. It IS pandering, but there's nothing wrong with that. It knows what it's doing, it's entertainment first and foremost and not something super deep that needs to be void of any fun for it to be meaningful.
Others have said the purpose of these scenes are to parody sis-con, I personally have no idea, but who gives a shit.
Mostly because it was the book was butchered into just 4 episodes, it holds the record for most adapted pages per episode in the franchise.
They cut almost all of the Shinobu fanservice too.
I felt the same way at first, but I ended up liking it by the end of Bake
It's not really important, and it makes repeated viewings interesting because you catch things yo didn't the first time
Yes, the original argument was how the incest detracts from how good the show is because it panders to a small group of fetishists.
If the incest had some sort of impact on the story that made it more understandable, but its just there to pander.
And pandering isn't wrong, but when it is for incest, I think its disgusting.
Do you disagree?
>whining about fanservice
Monogatari does this thing, where when an important conversation happens, it's accompanied by some sort of fanservice so the retards don't stop watching.
Pic related: one of the most important character moments in the series.
Yes, I disagree. I have a sister and I'd never see her in a sexual way, but I don't mind incest in media
or in real life. I can distance myself from the characters enough to enjoy the incredibly well made scenes in Nise/Tsuki.
>If it's not pandering i like, it's awful
Incest is fine.
Lolis are fine
Yuri is fine.
I don't like Yaoi but it's fine.
Most if not all pandering is fine.
If you aren't a bitch pandering won't bother you.
>There is a lot more to the monogatari series than some incest shit.
That's why he didn't say INCEST pandering, you fucking retarded legbeard. Kill yourself and stop bitching about the show because you're too autistic to let one element you don't like from making you go into a frenzied rage.
>Shutup. Incest is wrong.
Why? Explain it rationally. And don't try the "children with genetical deficits" argument, because we both know that Araragi and his sisters will never have children.
>I have a sister and I'd never see her in a sexual way
Would she think the same if she knew how much you liked the scene in Tsukimonogatari? Probably not.
Yeah, its fine. Doesn't mean it can't detract from a good story/show/anime/whatever
You're retarded, Kill yourself.
Family should take care of eachother, not fuck eachother. Retard.
>asking him to explain it rationally
O i am laffin. Even if incest does end in a child, it's still not an issue unless the kids of incest have kids. When you and your sister have a baby together, the odds of it being fucked up are like 2% higher than two non-blood related people. It's a scare tactic to keep people from inbreeding for generations and then getting government money for all their mutant kids.
>ignores everything I said
>lol retard kill urself
Back to fucking tumblr already, jesus.
Sounds like he's telling us to go home and
be family men
>Would she think the same if she knew how much you liked the scene in Tsukimonogatari?
We watched most of monogatari together. We're comfortable enough with each other to not make it awkward. Checkmate.
>Family should take care of eachother, not fuck eachother
Why not both? It strengthens the bond, doesn't it?
Because people are dumb as fuck and the show gets more complicated the longer it goes.
You're not supposed to pause. You read what you can, then if you miss something, you just miss it and move on.
Yes, I disagree. Now fuck off.
Making tender love to each other is taking care of each other. Retard.
If you were comfortable then it means you understand how unrealistic and fucking retarded it is. It contributed nothing to the show except some dumb fetish and it sucks ass for that.
I'm ignoring the second half of your post because you're trying to counter troll me.
>Making tender love to each other is taking care of each other. Retard.
No its fucking not, retard. That is called rape. Idiot.
>That is called rape
>Making tender love to each other
Proof that people from tumblr are mentally ill. I also appreciate your captivating rebuttal to my statement, "Shutup". Really breathtaking stuff.
Tell that to the court of law, fuckface.
Is Shinobu the Ryan Gosling of interpretive dance?
It's a show about a teenage boy getting over his sexual urges in various stages in his life while helping those helpless girls getting over his sexual urges for his dick. It's a fucking harem show with shaft doing it.
But Ougi is a girl!!
>mfw it's not rape as long as it's not vaginal penetration
And this is why democracy sucks. Something is illegal, then people think it must be bad because it's illegal, then the election time comes and people remember that it's bad and vote for the politicians who support keeping it illegal.
She is always a best girl!
Because his vampire powers are reliant on Shinobu's vampire powers, and Shinobu is a weak ass vampire now.
In the novel? I don't think it mentions that in the anime, at least. Granted, I've only seen it three times, but the last time was just recently.
I've only read the translated LN's but it's mentioned that he needs to continue drinking blood every month in one of the cards during Bake. I'd find it, but I'm not sure which episode it was in.
Maybe someone else can confirm this?
It's haremshit that plebs think is "artistic" and "deep" because of minimalistic backgrounds, headtilts and pointlessly long-winded dialogues about nothing.
Then why are you here?
I swear this is the only show where faglords who dropped it at some point come into threads to shit it up an think their opinions are worth anything
There's no plot
There's nothing in this show. It was made for only one purpose.
To make us hate each other and complain all day who's The Best and The Worst girl.
Yeah, this guys right. We should be talking about Snail
My bad, that makes more sense. I spend an unnecessary large amount of thinking about their link because the only information I have is the anime and English LN's.
I'm a huge faggot
Yeah, and then weaken his vampirism by drinking hers.
From Tsuki, the book:
>Shinobu at that time was not yet bound to my shadow, so I had to regularly give her blood
Seems to imply it was only before she was in his shadow that he had to have her drink his blood
No it implies that Araragi had to give Shinobu blood more frequently before she lived in his shadow. Yozuru specifically mentions that Araragi can continue giving blood to Shinobu in order to feed her without advancing his vampirism, but giving her enough to power up would be an issue.
I assumed what kept him from returning to being a full vampire was the he fed on Shinobu occasionally to keep him and her weak, but then when his blood is drained he becomes more vampiric.
But as >>121000053 said, drinking her blood is mistranslation.
So what exactly keeps him from returning as a vampire then?
The only way I can think of them both returning to full vampires is if Shinobu drinks all of his blood.
>musings of a weeb with nothing better to do at 4 am
>Anyone have the Saw/Expected/Got for Bake?
the monogatari series is all a play on words and kanjis.
remember how omoi means literal weight too and thus how the crab worked?
remember how the kanji for shinobu is literally the kanji of heart under the kanji of blade?
there's a saying that goes "until someone says still says your name, you are not truly dead"
So basically there was a shrine dedicated to a snake god, but it was forsaken. Then Nadeko started going there and killing snakes for the curse and shit and thus started re-enacting the snake god cult, and thus the snake god was an entity again.
I cant answer that for sure, but would presume,
exactly how they deal with every oddity, each character has had to accept the repressed feelings their oddity manifested as. Araragi would have to do the same
It's a qt though.
How long till it's main arc?
Nadeko only became an oddity because of talisman, which had the powers of a god sealed in it. All Nadeko created by herself was her Kuchinawa-san delusion, not a proper oddity.
What about crab do people like, anyway? She would have chosen anyone that had gone out of their way for her. Araragi didn't even have a clear reason for choosing her; just accepting her feelings and going along with his lust. Certainly, there are worse characters than her, but her appeal is beyond me.
>one of the most interesting characters/personalities in the show by 10 miles
What the fuck?
>If it were about tits, the obvious choice would be cat.
Liking tits doesn't mean liking cow udders.
If I can't milk them, what's the point?
I agree, this is a christian image board.
Thanks for starting the shitposting again.
You're in the wrong place to avoid loli anon.
>If I can't milk them, what's the point?
You have to get them pregnant first anyway, worry about it after.
>All Nadeko created by herself was her Kuchinawa-san delusion, not a proper oddity.
eating the talisman would have done nothing if there wasn't a snake oddity to re-activate in the first place.
The shrine is proof that there was once a snake oddity. She did re-activate it, and yes only when she ate the talisman, but she didn't "invent" it.
>What about crab do people like, anyway?
I like how she talks calmly even when mad, it's just hot. Shame she cut her hair tho.
Bat still a best.
>that lion leg on her crotch
One can dream.
>I need to touch your boobs.
>You have to say it like you mean it, I don't want to look like the bad guy here.
>You can touch my boobs, please.
>On second thought, maybe not.
It takes all the fun out of fondling when you have permission. Hachikuji understood.
>Another generic echi harem shit.
I know this is shitposting but how can anyone even believe this? Sure it's a harem but calling it generic must be the most idiotic choice I've read all week.
If only that was the reason he gave up that opportunity.
JUST LOOK AT THEM.
In a nutshell it's about a young man who has narrowly survived a supernatural encounter and strives to help others who are suffering similar predicaments.
It's kind of nice they spared Kizumonogatari for last, as it's probably the story with the best message (suicide is bad m'kay).
Why is Snail the best thing in the entire universe and why did she have to go?
>Why is Snail the best thing in the entire universe
search your heart, you know it's true
It's a really interestingly boring show, when it wants to be.
When it doesn't want to be, it's a weird show with an absurd amount of fanservice and cute girls.
Has some supernatural elements, but that's only about half of the plot. It is relevant throughout the course of the show, but most of the story comes from the various interactions between the characters.
It has a lot of character development and interaction, mixed with some humor every now and then when it's appropriate.
Nise is the worst offender in regards to fanservice, but is also the most fun. It's the season that has that one fucking toothbrush gif everyone likes to post.
It's more lighthearted and silly than the other seasons.
After that, they go back to doing what they usually do.
It's actually pretty good in my opinion, but you either fucking love the shit out of it or you don't understand what the point of the show is.
people also love to shit on it, because fanservice is bad now i guess?
It's arguably the story with the best underlying message. The only characters that actually get anything in the way of actual plot development are Araragi, Kisshot, and Hanekawa. The three hunters are basically just plot devices to give Araragi something to struggle against and showcase his vampire powers.
I read the spoilers for the last season and honestly I'm happy with it
and to have Snail around again for whatever reason.
I like Bat too but Snail is the best for me.
Is it really about how suicide is bad? I didn't take that away from it at all. Perhaps more that just looking for meaning in self-sacrifice is stupid, and that was his biggest mistake.
She gets over her desire to end her life though. In the beginning its about making Araragi suffer and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for forcing her to live, but they both progress out of that.
>It's a really interestingly boring show, when it wants to be.
>When it doesn't want to be, it's a weird show with an absurd amount of fanservice and cute girls.

Totally agree with what you said. Somehow I always treat it as a game to see how fast I can tap my spacebar button to capture what was said. It's just visually entertaining eye candy.
Some parts were also nice, for example Monkey running herself to exhaustion in the night (before Arararargi picks her up), I always had a thing for people running to vent their troubles.
However, the death of Snail and Zombie being all serious and killing a person have dampened the mood somewhat.
you can't deny that some of the arcs are unnecessary
Exactly, his life was meaningless so he sought meaning in giving it to someone else. The irony is that he doesn't learn from this, and continues to sacrifice himself for strangers, which you can argue is the point of the show. His life is still meaningless. Nothing ever changed.
At the start of Kizu Araragi
decides his life is so worthless he might as well just offer his neck to the fatally injured Kisshot. Later on Kisshot and him have a conversation about how most vampires eventually get sick of living and expose themselves to the sun. Through interacting with Hanekawa he gradually learns that his life has valueand in the end he shows Kisshot that while she traveled to Japan searching for somewhere to die, her life still has value and that they will go on living together.
Araragi cryptically touches on all of this in the text screens throughout the animated adaption, saying things like how he owes Hanekawa, how she dragged him up from the darkest depths etc... All of that hearkens back to his
suicidalmindset in Kizu where he felt it didn't matter to anyone whether he lived or died.
Oh, I'm not disagreeing. Suicide is definitely one of the main subjects. I just felt like expanding on what about suicide, namely trying to find meaning through it, bears attention.
Pretty accurate, except Araragi doesn't learn. Which is why he pulls the same stunt in Neko Kuro, but for an even flimsier reason. Then when you take Kizu with Kiss-Shot's back story you realize that by refusing to let Araragi die, she is saving herself.
Because Kaiki is a goddamn liar. He regularly converses with Ononoki after he helped create her. How can he do that if he doesn't believe in oddities?
I think there's probably a difference between an oddity and a god. His whole philosophy is based around lies, and he'll exploit the fact other people will believe in those oddities and lies while he doesn't necessarily need to. Did he use an oddity to neutralize her? Didn't he just rip a talisman out of her stomach?
>What the fuck is this even about?
Best molestation music.
Reminds me of Monty on the Run.
>If I marry her Hanekawa will be alone
>If I fuck her she'll probably kill me in a murderous rage when I try to move on
>If I kill her I cannot save her from her own craziness
Is there an opt out option?
The key thing would be to do this covertly.
Kill Crab in such a way that you can never be traced and then console Monkey and use her death to get closer to her...
What could possibly go wrong?
Well you for one.
But I'm not here to judge.
Fuck Crab, marry Crab, kill Snake.
Hanekawa is actually really in sync and knows he is a giant chicken if you think about it. She gives him ample permission, goes along with his pathetic attempts to dom in Kizu, and he still can't do it.
Then we have Neko Kuro, and she subtly has him heal her wound when she figures out that he was bullshitting with his act of trying to make her do whatever he wants when he chickens out of groping her again.
Then the almost kiss in Bake, how he doesn't even show signs of resisting, even with a girlfriend.
That is what made the breast coupon ticket so funny, but yet so disheartening at the same time. What with the fact he still has porn mags of class reps, her braids he cut in Tsubasa Song, and probably still her underwear from Kizu.
Her character is great, but goddamn, she must have been frustrated as fuck with him when he made that quip about her staying with him in his room, after her rejection scene in White. No wonder Tsukihi called him an idiot in the commentaries and told him to go die.
Araragi is beta. He's courageous and beta at the same time. You can definitely be both. Anyway, he has a massive inferiority complex which causes him to put the pussy on a pedestal (beta). Beta/Alpha is about how you view women it has nothing to do with how brave you are.
Lucky she has such good self control, when he hugs her knees begging her not to go at the airport in Owari, she could have just dragged him to a washroom for a quickie and would not only not fight it, but she could have ravished the fuck out of him.
He is truly beta and a chicken.
It would, if he didn't rely on Hanekawa and Shinobu most of the time for advice on everything. Hanekawa is pretty much a better leader intitially, and when she is free if her own issues, ten times better at getting shit done.
Including going to Antarctica to find Oshino and solving pretty much everything
The two are not related at all. I'm not saying cat i perfect but how does her lashing out and trying to kill him justify Araragi leading her on but refusing to take it anywhere?
If anything you have the cause and effect mixed up.
You know, Araragi does little more than talk to walls and die.
Hanekawa is too behind the scenes to be a leader. If I wanna put it in more confusing terms, I'd say Araragi is a puppet figurehead and hanekawa is the advisor.
So I just finished watching Oninomonogatari and
the snail sayonara scene
Maybe because I was spoiled, but it didn't feel that tear inducing to me
I was close to it, but didn't cry in the end.
Alpha/Beta in this context is referring to the gender relationship aspect. As in the alpha takes all the women while the beta just takes what he can get. You would think that would mean he's alpha because he's doing so many romantic/erotic things with other girls. But 99% of the time those things are being done to him and he is simply reacting. The two times he initiates something alpha off the top of my head are when he strips Tsukihi and when he kisses Shinobu.
The logic was probably because that came before her trying to kill him dingbat. Like where she obviously was trying to make him feel better in Kizu and he takes advantage of that, then chickens out like a coward. It has nothing to do with future events, which you are trying, rather unsuccessfully to connect to him being a chicken romantically.
Except Araragi isn't the sort of person who cares about that shit. What is a staple to the face? Being mauled and played like a ragdoll? Fighting invisible snakes? Getting beaten into a mess and literally getting his heart broken?
Teen drama leads to possession by animal spirits based on puns. Spirits are exorcised via dropped spaghetti. Everyone wants Ararararararagi's D because he listens to their venting. Also vampires and incest
I can't continue the series because I know this episode will piss me off. I want to see the end of snail's story, but I fucking hate snake.
It's okay to be pissed off, you just start hating snake like the rest of us.
>imagine a submissive Araragi licking Gahara's legs while she badmouths him.
>you just start hating snake like the rest of us.
I'm halfway through Koimono and I still don't hate Snake.
Can you even blame someone who is insane?
also Kaiki is growing on me at a steady pace
If you don't want to blame someone for their action how can you blame anyone for anything? You might as well take a up a deterministic view on everything and then nobody is responsible for anything in their lives.
But that's not a good way to live is it?
She did crazy shit, but what did she do in particular which is so much worse than the others and gets you so mad? That she's insane? They're all a different flavour of crazy. That she spins a web of lies and traps herself inside it? Monkey, Cat, and Snail had their own forms of denial. That she beat Araragi and Shinobu every time they came? They did start those fights and eventually she would rather avoid them. That she wanted to kill everyone you cared about? Well, I'll give you that if that's what pisses you off. But she didn't get to pull through with it and her story ends when her change begins. She did change for the better though, when it mattered.
She's a stupid little girl which happened to get the coolest toy in town and you're judging her harshly despite giving everyone else lenience.
>buttblasted snakefag writing an essay
I like snake as a character in the story.
I wouldn't want to have anything to do with her though.
Well, maybe play a bit of twister.
You make it sound like they're just making a monumental effort to make it the best thing ever and not simply that it's in development hell because production and management disagree with each other.
This is brought up by snakefags in every thread.
The other girls faced their flaws and worked to get through them. Snake decided to just stay as she is and not work to fix herself even after realizing what's wrong with her. She never takes responsibility for the problems she causes.
Well that makes sense. People normally lie to themselves, perpetuate their problems and avoid responsibility. I normally don't concern myself with the irresponsibility of others and I see now why people would hate her, she's pretty and precious and gets off the hook because of it.
light novel notes.. you can always pause and read it, though part of the experience is the 'what the fuck just happened' when you see a LN note passing by really fast
Like Onimonogatari, with the 'Darkness' thing. Shit just sped up like mad fuck.
