It was the Code Geass of whatever year it was out. Like all fakes it will never grow in hype like Geass did because it won't get a dub. Forever one of those mecha's on someones back log. Truely a tragedy.

Everyone was so excited about the rape but they didn't follow it up. That was the entire show too, they barely concluded the story they set out to do and the most entertaining parts were everything just getting fucked over and L-elf's super spy shit.
Near the end with harutoads dad and stuff I was just like, this fucking show man.
This is pretty much why I watch mechas in the first place. You can't possibly fuck up a story and nearly every character as much as Vulva Rave without mechs involved.
I like Cross Ange so much more because the show realizes its fucking crazy and just runs with it. VVV like most anime tries to get serious and pull the funny shit too and most of the time it just looks odd.

That's just because /a/ is full of manchildren who like to create shitstorms when rape happens in anime. Writing wise it was one of the stupidest things the show did, and people should be glad the show quickly wrapped it up (that doesn't mean it was wrapped up well) instead dragging it into the ground with shitty teen drama.

I got the Bandai Unit 1 model kit and I swear I'll start working on it as soon as I'm done with the Gundam I start recently.
