I don't like where this is going. The cut away from the conclusion seems more like it's intended to obscure whether Diane took a hit to the head than a measure to speed up the proceedings to show the aftermath.

On another note, I'm still pleased and somewhat impressed how much ground Suzuki manages to cover. While there's still cliffhangers that make me crave the next chapter, I also feel satisfied with the amount of stuff we get shown per chapter. Suzuki somehow strikes a nice balance between showing what's going on and showing juicy story tidbits that give you something to process/think about.

To add to the discussion of the chapter, excuse me if this has been discussed when it was announced, but is anyone seeing the connection with Gowther not taking the pills Merlin gave him and what he was doing to Guila plus the fight with Diane? I don't believe Gowther would do that to her, from seeing how he was with the kid who took him in. Yeah he's curious about human nature, but those pills must have been to stop or treat something Gowther is supposed to repress no? I think the armor was used like the pills, since it controlled magical energy and he was never seen without it. And in this chapter, he says that "he doesn't want to disappear". Diane has the problem that Thor and Hercules had in early Avengers comics: She's an absolute fucking powerhouse monster. They can't have her struggling against random jackoff of the week because they don't want her ending up as the jobber, they want her to be presented as actually strong. So they need to do something to nerf her in all her fights until they actually get a chance to take on something big. Like how shit would always fall on top of Thor's hammer or Herc would get lost and wander around for an arc until finally meeting up with the others fighting the big bad and kick his ass.

Mel is also a monster, but he's MC so he can get matched up with the big bad one-on-one and beat them just fine. You can't have Diane soloing big bads, she's not the MC.

Gee, thanks a lot A-1. I'm about halfway through the episode and in awe how cheapish more than half of the scenes look in this ep. Makes me rage when I see how much effort they put into ViolinAidsDrama compared to NnT. Not sure if I like Arthur's voice, but I can't really focus on him when I constantly get distracted by how half-assed the episode looks so far. Makes me really "look forward" to the rest of this action packed climax arc, full of high motion sequences.

I think the comparison still is a fitting showcase to remind >>120950616 that you shouldn't really judge Suzuki's art as being more or less refined, based on scanlations that are made from magazine scans of questionable quality. I have some physical copies of the raw tanks and the art looks magnificent in print.

Diane vs Gowther is an excellent example of how smooth and dynamic NnT fights are. Perfect choreography, cool attacks, shame it wasn't longer but when Ten Commandments will step in, we will see really great fights for sure, especially Mel's swordsmanship.

Gowther's monologue makes much more sense in RHS version, as well as Mel's reaction on it. It looks like ceasing being himself happens for him too, so he kinda understands how Gowther feels.
