I'm very sorry, but I watched it in a Japanese theater. The DVD release hasn't come out yet, as far as I know.

I'll admit that while the film is big on cameos (Sasuke has a blink-and-you'd-miss-it appearance) I kind of like how much Naruto has grown. I don't really mean this in a powerlevels sense, but it's oddly satisfying to see him finally getting some respect, and no longer being quite as shrill and annoying as before.

The villain's pseudo-NTR antics are pretty amusing in their own right. (Except for the part where he gets covered in eyes. Shit's retarded.)

I'll admit that my main enjoyment came from the tears of sheer anal pain from the Sakura fans. She does have a support role in the movie, but she's hardly important.

There are some slightly cheesy parts to the film (Like when the scarf starts winding around Naruto) but it's also kind of sweet in places. What I mean is, they managed to 'sell' the romance to me successfully, and I can't help but give them credit for that.

Not really. He comes close, but ultimately, he decides to stay on the Moon. Frankly, I think he was kind of heartbroken by the events of the movie and sort of gave up after that.

I watched the camprip. I actually teared up twice during it. The first time was when Naruto was shifting through the memory bubbles and remembering his moments with Hinata. The second was at the wedding. I don't think it was the imagery that got me to tear up, but the combination of it with the OST. The OST in this movie simply goes to well with the scenes in it, and you'll find yourself tearing up before you realize it.

I just don't agree with this. The only way it would look platonic from Naruto's side if you can not read between the lines and take everything at face value. In fact, that's the entire reason the NaruSaku fandom exists. SasuNarus read too much in between the lines.

It was a combination of many things, Jiraiya and Kakashi dying, the village getting nuked, the incredibly strong opponent shit-talking him and telling him that Jiraiya's dream was a bunch of bullshit and how powerless he felt to stop him.

Hinata getting hurt because of him was the last straw but it is not like in that moment he considered her more important to him than Jiraiya, Iruka or Sasuke nor that he was in love with her. He eventually did though.

Huh, so it seems that Hinata was cheering on Naruto in the academy days even in the manga.

Which means he was probably always busy and often out of the village.
Also, he was romantic-stupid. Which caused him not answering Hinata's feelings, which, combined with hinata's natural shyness caused her to not act on her feelings.
Hinata herself was likely often busy, both as ninja and as Hyuga Heir.

So, yeah, it actually makes sense two years would pass- though dropping a "It has been a busy couple of years!" line would have helped

You need to reread the manga, son. During the exams Sakura was depressed because she wasn't as good as Naruto and Sasuke. Sasuke noticed that she was depressed, thought to himself she didn't seem like herself, then a few pages later this happened.

Then there's the interlaced fingers when he's suffering under the curse seal, he freaked out and beat the crap out of the sound Nin when Sakura got beaten up, how her crying stopped the curse seal, the "even if it's you I won't forgive you" line from when she tried to get him kicked out of the fights, when Gaara was going crazy and Sasuke told Naruto to protect Sakura, when he caught Sakura as she was falling from the tree then there's the whole "The one who filled Sasuke's lonely existence was Sakura" from the databook.
