Akame ga kiru roughly translates to Red eye killer, which I previously thought was a direct reference to the character Akame. It seemed evident that she was the intended filler of the role especially after taking into account the anime and her being one of the only survivors when the everything settled but with Tatsumi fusing with his teigu and developing incursio's eye, in his base form, one can argue that he now fits the description of "akame ga kiru" and may be who the author was referring to as the Red eye killer.
