Is this moe?
every girl in this show a best
including the cakes
Sakura's weapon was badass
even if it was killing her
You have no idea how much the first episode infuriated me when you realize
<spoiler>Mirai could have triggered Akihito's beast mode and he would ended up killing the entire cast at any point in that episode</spoiler>
the action scenes
though feware very well animated and executed
Makes me wish kyoani would make more action anime
Yep, but since Akihito now has Beyond the Boundary in his control, he can do anything with it.
Take note that youmu are created through intense emotions, and Akihito has more than enough energy to create (or recreate) Mirai using his intense feelings for her.
Well, this is a widely-accepted headcanon, though. Only the movies will confirm or debunk what actually happened to her.
The Beyond the Boundary can recreate youmu through powers of strong feelings as shown in the snowy world, when Akihito left the snowy world he grabbed Mirai's youmu stone (the ring), a few months down the line he's thinking all about her and his deep feelings recreated a youmu version of Mirai
at least that's what I got from the exposition
It's a classic story: boy meets girl, boy tries to stop girl from jumping off roof, girl stabs boy, boy reveals he's immortal, etc.
Why don't we get more anime that sticks to the basics like this?
Just finished this, don't know why everyone hates it so passionately, I enjoyed it.
The ending wasn't the best, but I'm glad to hear there's going to be a continuation
Ai is best girl
I'm not saying it came out of nowhere, but the ending would have resonated much more strongly if they didn't pull a Disney death at the last moment. Hell, I wouldn't even have been mad if they brought her back right at the beginning of a second season.
The plot fell really nicely into place once we found out that Mirai wasn't just stabbing Aki to be moe. But I guess thats just me, even if they never connected the plot points I would of still loved it just because kyoani.
Looking through my gifs, I forgot how depressing this was when she got stuck in the knk.
Not really, it's pretty bad in all aspects, and the directors/animators or who the fuck ever at Kyoani couldn't direct an action scene to save their lives, so what would be some decently animated FIGHTAN scenes usually just wind up short and kind of lame, outside certain instances. I remember mentally tuning out of the shoe halfway through the first episodes when it became readily apparent that whoever was in charge of the show had no idea how basic physics should be conveyed visually, and by episode 2 decided to cover up any fast movements with flashing lights and bullshittery.
It stinks, but if you're a rampant Kyoani apologist with no shame then you might derive some modicum of enjoyment out of it, but you're wrong and stupid for doing so, and also I hate you.
How does it feel when a show you hate have 2 movies in the work and your favorite ones don't
