Old Shirobako thread bit the dust. Let's continue.
Shirobako is an anime people are still going to be talking about 10 years from now.
Respectable Tarou is a miracle of the universe.
>game devs aren't satisfied with your artwork
>after submitting countless papers of artwork, the developers decided to go with your first one
It's okay. I need a plce where anons post stuff from 2chan and new art including self made shit.
I like to watch this on replay like its one of those exercise video's you watch to get fit, I've already done this dance in unison with her for about 3 hours today.
Soon I'll be /fit/
>anime excersice videos
HOLY SHIT ANON!!!
THAT IS ONE OF THE BEST ANIME IDEAS I HAVE EVER HEARD!
IS THIS A THING???
BECAUSE THERE SHOULD BE A MARKET FOR THIS!
I'd buy the hell out of those to get in shape.
Everything is still daijobu like Yano said. She didn't lie guys, they're just a month behind production
There was nobody to hug her when she needed it
Actually I'd rather have them make a full Jiggly Jiggly Heaven OVA. And given how popular Shirobako is, it would be kind of cool to see a full Exodus spinoff series. Do it PA Works!
Funny story, I bet even the author has had enough of his funny stories.
What is the demand this time? We've already had upwards of 6 threads since Thursday (and that's only counting the threads I was able to see). Is that not enough for all those discussions, webms, edits, and ____ best girl? The only reason I see for this thread's creation is literally there in the OP, "Old Shirobako thread bit the dust." There's nothing meaningful about it anymore.
It's just that I don't want this to turn to Free Generals 2.0.
>SHIROBAKO is actually catching fire right now.
>Goth loli-sama will never fiercely tongue your ass
People cant even buy it now because it is out of stock everywhere
Why didn't they just get the author's fax number? And don't they have his email, why the need to go through the funny guy
you forgot the best and dumbest one
"Bad" few first episodes, plus a couple of delays for whatever reason.
Better yet, why couldn't they force the author to come or something? They could have negotiated to have had a meeting with him.
The fact that the newbie seiyuu would only do background/bit roles after the series ended?
>[YouTube] Jungle wa Itsumo Hare nochi Guu Hare+Guu TV OP
What the fuck did I just watch?
That never works. If seems like it does but in reality it only does if they don't check or find your video.
If you somehow make it out to be for educational purposes it may work.
It shows an example of how one can make a music video that is able to make different stills and scenes look like something completely different from the source material in an effective way.
I'd buy it.
i wonder if asking for a Season 2 is too much to ask. I really, really like this series. PA Works have struck a goldmine and it would be foolish for them to not continue this.
They don't have to go anywhere. I want to follow these girls lives as they progress in their careers.
Is that too much to ask?
It sounds like he has a heart of gold.
I think it has the potential to be an ongoing sleeper.
When the kids grow up to become adults with disposable income they'll discover this anime, resonate with it, then buy it.
>season 2 starts 8 years later
>Aoi has a boyfriend
>Shizuka is married
>Diesel-chan is engaged
>Ema worrying about her low wages and the horrible fact she is now Christmas cake.
>Misa is asexual
Only sells 1.8 FRTs worth of BDs.
>implying zuka didn't kill herself 3 years prior
why is space dander such a bad anime?
Anon please, she's a miracle of the universe. Miracles don't dye.
Still pretty good.
If you're being rough about it, then you could say that would equate to 12.75k sales for a standard 2-episode volume.
Unless I'm missing something important.
Does Zuka dye her hair as well?
The reason I'm not sure about Aoi is because most of them have non-ethnic-Japanese eye colors as well, so it's safe to assume that their unnatural hair could in fact be natural.
/u/tards will ship anything.
I don't think there's artificial hair color. With the large variety of colors of hair in the show, it is more than likely just a means to help tell the characters a part. Imagine if everyone had either black or brown hair, placing names with faces would be impossible then.
It is going to be PA #2 when it is all said a done.
The only reason why it is at 8.5k is due to the stock problem, they didnt print enough copies. It is ranking better than everything this season. You might be looking at GuP mk2.

No it doesn't. Just let it end on a good note with everybody satisfied. No need to milk it further
Dude I don't even give a shit about this show and I can't stop watching this stupid fucking dance.
God damn it.
Please watch Shirobako.
Makes me think of Numbers by Kraftwerk, even though it's just a generic thing like counting.
She's a natural 'S'
I love it
Hahaha, serves you right you faggot. You're the little girl in the bottom right corner down there trembling before the mighty ritual of the divine. Now submit beneath the dominance your god has over you and go watch the damn series.
Diesel is definitely second best girl.
I'm a kissless 23y/o virgin
N-nothing. I wish Ogasawara-san would scold me to set my shit straight
I honestly thought they were gonna hit on some men or something
Oh shit, that is weird. I didn't even notive the whole vier = fear four fours = death holy shit it's a sign it's 2:27 I've only got 17 minutes left to live tell my waifu I love
Captcha: tboom, I'm thinking it's gonna be a bomb.
Like just horsing around, it'd be weird to do that with co-workers anon
No it's not. You can just ignore the show and the threads
Rinko-chan seems to be the type to willingly lick your ass though
Would totally date rape in her younger years if I had the balls
Nobody hugged her when she needed it /a/, nobody
Makes me wonder how her meeting with Based Sugie-san went.
Oh god, Sugie-san would have been younger and still maried?
>implying she wouldn't wreck your shit with a baseball bat
It's a fun show.
There is no help, only the divine goddess.
Everytime shirobako restock, it will show up in the daily chart, even after 1 month, pretty crazy you know
I'll take your word for it.
The in-your-face "it's okay if this is generic garbage if we admit that it is" jokes, and the twintails girl shouting tittymonster's really long name like it was supposed to be funny, was just too much.
The show really runs on a single heroine that makes the difference aka main girl. She's the only reason to watch it. There are several reasons for why she works as good as she does but I won't go into detail here.
Didn't expect Ema to be this flexible. Did she play any sport back in school?
I want to cum inside her and forget to take responsibility
All girls school.
She's barely there in ep1 but ep2 makes her a rare-type best girl already. She's basically there to deconstruct all the other harem stereotypes that sorround her. Most people that still watch it stayed for her. I hated it to hell and beck in ep0.
No you crazy fuck they're chemtrails don't you understand
We've already been through this in the last couple of threads.
At least wait a while before trying it again.
Right, that makes sense. I knew that Aoi's sister put on a voice for the doll once, but I couldn't remember if it was the same voice as the schizo version.
I always end up being impressed by seiyuu.
Wait, so she let ten days go by before helping Iguchi? What the hell Goth-chan?
How many fucking times is PA Works going to try and explain that stupid bunny hop. They use it in almost ever show since its first appearance.
>no more MA-SHI-RO NA O-MOI NI
The only thing I like more about the new ED is the animation.
This. Also the maingirls jumping through the screen was great. Aoi taking that lolly and goth loli hairflip are only half as good.
That's a good observation.
The politeness system of Japanese is characterized by being very fluid. Depending on the participants and the situation, levels of politeness you display towards one person might change drastically.
It's based on social standing, seniority and the dichotomy of "me (us) – you (them)". Generally you're polite to the other party and humble about your party. And who's in what party changes dynamically depending on the situation.
The situation in the last episode basically put up Rinko as one party, and the other three girls (Iguchi, Aoi and Ema) as the other one, cause all there were being tutored by Rinko in the same way. And that's why Iguchi refers to Rinko as "Ogasawara-san", same way as Aoi or Ema would.
When she called her Rinko-han some episodes ago, it likely was in a situation where Iguchi and Rinko both represented one party - senior workers.
That's how's I'd read the situation. Or maybe it's just an oversight...
Less cute girls and more fat Korean guys and 75% plastic females
1 in 4 Korean people in Seoul have had plastic surgery, I'd imagine that number is higher for females and for either gender in some industries esp. entertainment FakeCute anime about cute Plastic Surgeons in Korea when?
I'd make her feel like an angel, if you know what I mean.
Wish I could pull this off.
go away skinnyfat do you even lift manlling.
I remember seeing this in Pixiv. I checked the artist's profile, and he has tons of fanarts like this, with other characters.
I honestly don't know.
So gothic lolita truly is a chuuni who became one because she didn't have a shoulder to cry on and she's stuck up who makes mistakes herself and she gets off scot free. Well, we'll see how long that lasts.
It does happen. Instead of adding to the source material they just make a 1:1 only with terrible art, or add crap like that.
It's been posted excessively in every thread since Thursday.
I know what you mean. The problems arising from a single person being a dumb fuck but in a high position is way too realistic.
Well, I've seen really bad artists with very successful patreons. Those pricks probably earn more than fulltime animators which is sad as fuck.
Man, I HAD a friend I went to college with but he fell victim to the pony disease in his senior year of college back in 2011. He started to practice a lot of drawing and within the first quarter of 2012 he started to sell commissions of MLP work, which people still paid money with hand over fist even though it wasn't good.
By the end of the year he had gotten experienced enough to just copy the show's art and used "show-accurate" drawings as a selling point, enabling him to sell commissions starting at $40 and up. More if it was colored, with more characters, etc. A fucking con artist.
He started doing livestreams and hawking his wares there, and in two years he was able to start making a living doing the con circuit and was able to rub shoulders with a bunch of the MLP staff, fucking ridiculous. I haven't seen the bastard in a bit thank god but he's a small cripple with leg braces that is a capitalistic shit stain, everything was and still is about money to the fuck. Sounds like a girl too.
To add to this, normally this wouldn't be so bad, I mean, artists in 11land do the same thing at Comiket and online, but this guy I"m talking about was a business major all through college, obsessed with making money and successfully doing it through online ads before hand and figured he could make a killing from MLP fans. There's passion there, but it's just passion for money.
>OH BOO HOO! NOBODY LIKES MY SHITTY CHARACTERS FOR THIS GAME!!
>I know! I'll dress up as one!
>Fought off the murricans in ww2
>took inspiration from american animation
>lifetime of experience
>Saved the studio from nuclear holocaust
I've heard many people tell True Tears has something Okada has lost since long ago in her way to write stories. Hanasaku Iroha had it in the very first two episodes and then the episode 3 happened and the rest you know what happens. This isn't particulary bad in my opinion, but I'd love if she or P.A. Works could pull something as True Tears again
but this time with adult people and not teen melodrama
HanaIro was okay after episode 3 as well but it just wasn't really going anywhere in the end. Life happened but it wasn't really satisfying in it's ways.
The greater good can kiss my ass when I'm talking about my opinion.
>s-stop admiring a woman! I cannot accept that she has a greater personality than me, a man!
>I must prove that you're all wrong by pointing out a man in the show who's even greater!!
I thought Japanese workplace is full of shits like hierarchy, beat the nail down, etc. So it's actually not bad at all.
>HanaIro was okay after episode 3 as well but it just wasn't really going anywhere in the end. Life happened but it wasn't really satisfying in it's ways.
There were some pointess episodes but I think the final of Hanasaku Iroha was satisfying because it had relation with the whole theme of the series, basically a coming-of-age story. And the movie, the movie, is great.
Of course it was a coming of age series but in the end it didn't look to me as a good one. I wasn't satisfied in the least and didn't have a feeling that the characters actually tried surpassing their parents or learn from them. The whole conclusion was too open and unsatisfying for me. I probably only stuck with it for the animation and because I once worked in a hotel and it triggered my nostalgia.
>I probably only stuck with it for the animation and because I once worked in a hotel and it triggered my nostalgia.
I think that explains why you felt the ending not so satisfying.
And that's a different perspective, something it matters
Screw what I wrote there. Those aspects were important to me but I was actually hoping that it would have a conclusion I could respect right up until the end and only in hindsight those were the things that really stuck out to me.
I usually really like coming of age dramas but only if they actually feel like the characters moved on and not just became another failed member of society.
I never said there was no developement, just that I didn't like the developement.
>Are you sure you aren't confusing this type of story with another thing?
I'm just a stuck up elitist with way too high standards, don't mind me.
Is everyone who works at Aoi's studio some kind of nutbar? We've got the drawing staff dressing up as anime characters to hide their emotional turmoil, the director is a traumatized divorcee, the desk is a schizo who imagines stuffed animals talking about her line of work all the time, their newbies are an college kid whose way into research, a high lighter wearing information otaku and a layabout whose only here because it's easier on her commute. Then there's the old dust collector they rarely use, the creepy prez who seems to like to yell TAKEOFF at random times and is always cooking their other newbie seems to do nothing but criticize others and is rather rude and finally there's Tarou. What the fuck,Tarou?
>Did you happened to watch Koufuku no Graffiti?
Yes. I was kinda disappointed in the series as a whole as the fanservice-eating looks really weird to me.
>Could you cook some dishes from the episode 3?
Yes. Aside from making a runny omuraisu which I never attempted until last week. Would probably be able to nail it with 1 or 2 more tries. It's really hard to do if you don't cook with gas so I have to improvise a lot there to get the same results.
That's completely fine with me
I'm also good at cross-dressing
>Yes. I was kinda disappointed in the series as a whole as the fanservice-eating looks really weird to me.
Me too, but this is supposed to be some kind of pure Slice of Life. Personally I wanted it to have a plot progression or at least the characters not being static but this is what going to happen unless Okada pulls something interesting.
If you hadn't noticed, the higher ups in Musani are literal manchildren more interested in posing their figures than doing their jobs.
That silver-haired douchebag is more representative of what the average japanese professional behaves like.
Life in general, yes.
I just wanted lewd cooking with shaft and expected the fan service to be Monogatari-ish and not weird healthfag face close-ups and rice that looks like worms.
That's one big egg roll.
I actually really liked the characters. I didn't like the lewd and there wasn't enough actual cooking for me but the SoL part with Kirin was great. It feels like Ryou is growing with every episode along with her and I really love that.
I haven't forgiven her yet.
