For some reason I feel this was the saddest moment.
in daihase arc when touma asks fukiyose out on a date, she says yes; tsuchimikado outta fuckin nowhere butts in and turns it into a group outing
i cry evertiem
The burger jokes are a coping mechanism.
That's not really all that sad since Bernie was a dumbass that willingly threw himself into that situation while continuing to support a corrupt regime that was on it's last legs.
> The anime will never be able to make this scene as emotional as in the manga
Don't even try to make me hope. They already fucked up Ban's, the music was great, but cutting the flashback in so much parts was a terrible idea, besides cutting most of the SoL moments.
TTGL's last few episodes hurt me.
Anime is shit, VN is decent with a strong finish but some pacing issues.
I've yet to cry from watching a work of fiction, but this still gets me choked up
Is there a more overrated "drama" then Clannad?
I don't think you really understood 0080 if that's what you thought his motivations were. It wasn't really about vengeance for his dead comrades anymore. It was to save the colony and the kid's family. Don't know how anyone could miss that.
Oh no his wife died! Now he went completely out of character, ignoring all of his development with his own father, and leaves his child to his his in-laws! And now his kid got sick and died just after he reconnects with her! Key Magic(TM) saved the day and everyone lives happily ever after! 10/10 liek this if you cry erry time
But in all seriousness, Clannad was too melodramatic and inconsistent for me to take any of the drama seriously. I've only read the VNs of Planetarian and Little Busters, but both did drama far, far better than Clannad.
> it's popular, so I must hate it
What character progression are you even talking about? The dude literally used nagisa as a metaphorical medicine to all his problems, and when he lost her he basically got "sick" all over again but much worse. And he wouldn't be able to take care of a fucking baby with the money he was making and how often he was away working.
The scene itself wasn't that hard on me, but then the music set in... There's something about "Blue" where everything about Spike suddenly just made sense and I started feeling my eyes tearing up.
Not him, but at the end of that episode where Eyebrow guy sees his sister was was strapped with bombs was kinda melancholic
The only scene in the whole show where I cared about a character. The rest was just mindless action, cringy comedy and forced drama
Clannad would have been a great series if they had thrown away all the KeyMagic(TM) and just focused on the characters and their stories.
Instead what we got is shit because they didn't have the balls to change the source material, and left us with a unsatisfying, forced drama show.
Yeah, I'm the type of guy that considers the ending of a show to be the most important
Akiha end got me pretty bad the first time I read it. Too bad about that fucking stupid retcon KT added.
It's more of a Typemoon anime than Tsukihime one, and even then Fate got a lot more screentime.
>not this entire chapter
I fucking cried and I don't even regret it.
>not this entire volume
I swear this was just raping of my soul
Before this chapter I didn't know I could be hurt so much by a piece of non fiction
Pretty much everything from Angelica's death on.
Nah son since you all got me remembering all this shit. When his daughter started crying was the saddest shit ever. Shit devastated me son
