To be honest, I just didn't like her even before I knew that it's popular to hate on her. Very bland and uninteresting character that just has the same lines/scenes over and over again + her personality is just servile cliche kohai. I just had the urge to skip all her scenes.

to be fair, it's an alternate Sakura using a Berserker class card, and we don't know much about her past here other than she's allied with the Ainsworths (for all we know, she could be a doll and thus, only share name and physical appearance with the real Sakura)
and Illya's personality is explained because Kiritsugu and Iris sealed away her HGW self (which eventually surfaced as Kuro)
of course Illya isn't gonna act line in F/SN when her circunstances and backstory are totally different
also, Nasu and Takeuchi love Prisma and I doubt they would if the author ruined the characters like you say he does
