Which end are you supposed to start eating from?
>watch youtube secondaries "review" the final episode of the cour
>King of Britain
>Too stupid to eat.
They're really funny right. I mean some of them even say that F/SN is a the best anime of that season. There's also some reviewers praising Madoka and Lain to be masterpieces. Fucking funny as hell.
Reminder that Shirou is willing to kill Rin to save Taiga.
Do you people enjoy anything? ufotable is trying to have fun with the material in any way they can and your autism just can't handle it. A simple, subtle visual gag is suddenly a damning indictment of a character in the eyes of people such as yourselves.
Something about those proportions are off but I can't put my finger on it.
Reminds me of how UFOtable can't draw Rin at all.
DEEN had much better still art, even though their animation was garbage.
Ufotable's never been good at promo material, but it's what's in the actual show that counts, and DEEN Rin looked like shit even when they should have had the budget.
I know this is from the Vita OP, and we don't have the show version yet to compare, but just look. IIt's an infinitely more appealing shot.
DEEN is definitely garbage, but I honestly liked their character design more than ufo, other than DEENShirou, he looked like a retard. I love ufotable's fight animation but man I just cannot get into their super pointy faces with no noses and side mouths.
I feel like ufotables art got worse after the KnK movies, the character designs were perfect in them.
DEEN Shirou had one hell of a punchable face. And if you wanna talk about chins, Jesus Christ.
I guess it's just my personal preference, I think DEEN had better character design, while everything else was garbage tier.
I'm not trying to debate you or anything. DEEN's promo material honestly was probably stronger than Ufotable's, but their everything else fell way too far into being unacceptable.
I agree 100 percent, DEEN animation is another level of bad.
What's your favorite anime, anon?
It's K-On, isn't it?
Their designs looks closer to how Takeuchi draws things now.
Fuck off, Takeuchi had great art in the VN, other than the occasional monkey arms. Also, they better do this scene well in the ufotable anime.
>Fuck off, Takeuchi had great art in the VN
Let's not get carried away, anon. It was "passable" for the most part, but between this, and these shots >>120503638 >>120503698, I'd take Ufotable.
I prefer the VN shot their. After playing Tsukihime I grew to appreciate the FSN art even more.
It was a definite upgrade, but it's not even really good compared to what he can do today. The guy's art has been a continual work in progress. Remember, Tak wasn't hired as like, a professional. He was Nasu's buddy.
>UBW isn't even entertaining
How to spot a secondary
I'm not saying he's some super pro now, but compared to this it's at least improvement.
>implying it's just that one part
That's only the tip of the iceberg. The second half of UBW is absolutely full of action and twists.
>Rin vs Castah
>Kuzuki and Castah's death
>Archer revealing UBW
>Gil vs Herc
>Gil killing Ilya
>Lancer killing Kirei
>Gil turning Shinji into the grail
>Saber vs Kojiro round 2
>Shirou vs Gil
>Rin saving Shinji
>Archer reappearing to shit on Gil and say goodbye
Absolutely full of good shit.
Because she's a top waifu and fighter
Nah, he dies. After caster dies he goes man mode and attacks archer and gets cut down remember?
HF doesn't even have a release date.
He fights to the death to fulfill Casters wish of winning the grail, but he didn't realize that she wanted him to live on. He loved her even if he didn't realize it.
Nasu is such a hack writer his fanboys usually don't even try to mount a defense of him.
It's very fitting that nasu made VNs, the medium with the lowest standard for writing, and Urobutcher wrote an LN, the medium with the 2nd or 3rd lowest standard for writing (Anime is probably #2).
There's no reason to bother defending Nasu's writing from zerobabbies, they hear whatever they want to hear.
You're being too obvious
Including Sakura despite the fact that she lived like a block away.
Literally the araki of VNs
Wait no, araki only had to do one universe reset. Nasu had to cover his ass countless times with the multiverse-shit-writing-contradictions-go-away "plot" device
I love it when EOPs try to talk about writing as if they had any idea of what they were talking about, despite needing to use screenshots of amateur english translators to prove their point. If you don't know the language, just do yourself a favor and don't try to talk about how good the prose is. And I'm not saying Nasu is a good writer.
Multiple universes were a directly a key plot in FSN.
Nasu wants to create Japan's Marvel; that also means outsourcing stuff to other writers. He did it in FHA, Zero, Apocrypha, Case Files, and probably more in the future.
He created a setting that allows authors to have fun, they make money writing with the setting, and he collects paychecks while fucking around in Dark Souls.
Rin is literally better than Shirou deserves. For fucks sake in the non-Rin routes she helps Shirou hook up with whichever girl he's after. Because she's the kind of person who can give up on her own happiness to help someone she cares about find his.
The very reason she's so hard on Shirou all the time about his selflessness and lack of self concern is because he makes her aware of all the same qualities in herself.
>we will never see Bazett and Lancer shit on the whole war together
Feels bad man
They don't? Chuuni is not what sells in VNs. There are a bunch of chuuni titles but they rarely reach the top 5 in sales or popularity rankings. Hell, Senshinkan reached 18th in 2ch's poll this year. F/SN is just a big exception.
Rin and Shirou help each other. I don't think either one is more deserved.
>You will never see Bazett's incredibly awkward eroscene
>There's also some reviewers praising Madoka and Lain to be masterpieces.
Those are some implications you got there
It's from Capsule Servant. Rin and Shirou are both kids.
Yes. Because 'stopping' Rin is exactly what Caster would do.
Because she spends her time playing house with Emiya and trying to push her image as a good girl all while she actually struggles with the urge to pin him down and violate him in a coarse and unsightly fashion?
Is the first time I feel pride in being a secondary.
Zero did right in most of everything Stay Night did wrong. Based characters, consistent power levels, non-centric storytelling (the best part by far).
>We're going to get UBW 2 and Prisma 2wei 2 at the same time
Darius please go
I would play it if best servant was in it.
>all while she actually struggles with the urge to pin him down
The scene where she's nursing him and says something along the lines of "that's why I love you", when she thinks he's asleep was really sweet,
The scene where she masturbated to his lacerated back wasn't as sweet but, it was something.
Yes and no.
I don't think Shirou was in the cards at all in that early stage. Shirou was created and the Saber genderbend happened after Nasu pussied out at the prospect of making a VN with a female protagonist.
I remember seeing some concept art a while back of some stuff like what Rin's command Saber command seal would have looked like.
She doesn't want to do anything to anyone, and that's the problem I have with her. She's way too passive. She wants Shirou to pounce on her far more than she wants to do it to him
>Not wanting a waifu who always has your back
I fucking hate Iskandarfags more than anyone else in the world. I'm fairly sure that him and his "bro" qualities are the only reason that so many people obsess over Zero. That and Kerry being a grimdark edgemaster who smokes and kills people.
I remember seeing a graph that had a bunch of ideas that were cut from Fate. It talked about there potentially being dual MCs (the prologue with RIn being the remnant of that idea), as well as stuff like the Caster route, how she'd end up regressed to a loli at some point.
I hink most people like it more because it's more of an straightforward action series. While SN has fights, it's less about them and more about mystery and character. If Apocrypha ever got adapted, I'm sure everyone would move on to that
>as well as stuff like the Caster route, how she'd end up regressed to a loli at some point.
>This was cut
goddamnit nasu fucking why
I don't even dislike the Zero servants, but peoples obsession with Iskandar pisses me off. They all believe his bullshitting about the qualities of a king was true and not just him trying to push his ideals on saber, but people seem to think that his idea of a king is perfect. The banquet of kings was to show how Gil, Iskandar, and Saber all had a different way of leading, and none of them were the "correct" way. It's interpreted all wrong.
Yeah I did
The dokidokis too.
I don't think I've seen many VNs where you have a predominant female POV in sex. Just Sakurai since she likes to use h-scenes for characterization.
Never did I imply I was obsessed over Zero. What I mentioned was that Rider was the only character that could be considered based, not that he was the best thing to happen to Zero.
It's all fun and games until she tries to unleash all the world's evils.
I wasn't trying to direct that post at you, I was just piggybacking off of you bringing up Rider. I don't give a shit if someone likes Rider, but when people talk about him as if he's the best character ever I get upset. My favorite Zero servant is 100 faced Hassan even though they never got to do anything.
My favorite Zero team was team COORU
despite the fact if they'd be in any other anime, played even slightly different, I'd hate them for being massive edgelord characters they just fucking worked in zero, and it was great
I'm telling you that F/Z carried that development far more effectively. I'm not saying that everybody in F/SN was a total stranger while Shirou pranced about in his bubble of main character development, I'm saying that F/Z's format allowed for a superior exploration of its cast and their inner workings.
The whole point of F/Z is how flawed Kiritsugu's methods are. The reason he doesn't care about the fact he summons an honourable Servant is that he doesn't care about the Servant herself, he simply sees Saber as a tool to be used. Also with regards to Kariya, he actually did try and seek out Tokiomi on his own when both Servants were engaged and look where that got him.
I have to say I have a complete opposite viewpoint to your own with regards to how the actions of each pairing was dealt with in both works. In F/SN ultimately the action of almost every Servant/Master combo save for some minor variation at notable times was "Find another Servant, fight until one of you dies, move on".
Compare this to F/Z, where you have Rider and Waver tracking down Caster's home and using a bit of gorilla warfare to weaken him; Kiritsugu doing Kiritsugu things and using the Servants as a distraction; Assassin being used for various deceiving tactics, if not the most useful ones, and various other tactics used throughout the series aside from "kill them till they die". And then you have Rider, Gil and Saber all sitting down for a chat, along with the various fights that were purely mage-versus mage, completely independent of their Servants. Not once was there a straight 1-on-1, or even 2-on-1 or 2-on-2, Servant fight without something to tip the scales going on in the background and it ultimately gives the feel of a more strategic "war" than F/SN.
For the most part, the anime does stay very close to the essence of the novels. A large majority of the differences come from how the anime portrays the characterization; the novels uses the third-person narration heavily to describe the thought processes of each character. The anime does not take this route. Case in point, this episode:
The entire meeting between Kirei and Tokiomi to inform of Risei's death is completely anime-original. In the novels, the narrator goes to great lengths to describe just how much of an impact this death on Tokiomi's confidence. Tokiomi is actually an average magus given prominence not due to his talent but for his hard work and effort (a detail omitted from this episode). He has become who he is due to how he planned out his life to become the ideal magus, so naturally his plan coming apart bit by bit would shake him quite a bit. The anime depicts all of this simply by having him respond to Risei's death in a very shaken, angry manner, an action that would normally be completely out of character for him.
Afterwards, Gilgamesh probing into Kirei's thoughts about the matter condenses a relatively long narrative about Kirei's personal feelings about how his life has turned out thus far (which includes a flashback to his recently deceased wife that was mentioned in the very beginning of the story) into approximately 30 seconds of dialogue. The scene that this narrative takes place, when Kirei first discovers Risei's body, is not even alluded to in the anime. This is probably because Kirei actually sheds tears for his father, not out of sadness, but due to how he wasn't the one to actually kill him. Naturally, this is cut out of the anime since the visual direction has Kirei strictly being completely emotionless until those last moments. Instead, the anime has Gilgamesh cut right into the heart of the matter.
This is all because FSN isn't about the war itself, it's about Shirou's inner motivations and the exploration of his character. Sure, there is a grail war going on, but that only serves as a setting for Shirou's growth as a character. Zero did what it did well, which was a Battle Royale without going very deeply into any of the characters. They showed you everyones surface motivations, but they never went any deeper than that. Zero and FSN shouldn't even be compared, they're completely different stories in almost every way except that they both have a grail war going on.
March 14th has a different holiday name in the West.
But, that chocolate isn't for Rin. It's for Medea.
Bought from a store using her glutton skills to purchase the best she could for you
Handmade and surprisingly good with a tsundere side-dish. Also probably somehow spicy since everything Rin makes is spicy
Handmade and extremely tasty. She poured her blood sweat and tears into making it. Maybe literally.
Store bought. Will somehow give you a boner.
Handmade and tastes shitty. Would probably had tasted better if you were Souichirou-sama
Comissioned from an ancient chocolate artesan living deep in an european forest. He had not been heard from for 10 years but she formed a search party in order to find him and have him make you chocolate. Tastes like the best thing you've ever eaten. When given to you her innocent imouto-like demeanor causes your heart to melt and you achieve total bliss and nirvana. As expected from best girl.
Ilya/Caster/Rider routes confirmed for Fate/remake
>no Taiga chocolate
Your projections are weak Shirou! Do you think your chocolate creation skills are as good as mine!?
Saber's chocolate is a box of assorted chocolates and she's eating it before she can give it to you.
Rin's Chocolate looks prepackaged chocolate you find at a convenience store or card shop
Illya, Sakura, and Rider's chocolate could be store bought valentines chocolate or hand made and self wrapped. Sakura probably made her own, Kouhau's strange love medicine included, and Illya probably had her maids help her. I don't think rider cooks so her's is most likely store bought.
Caster's is hand made ad probably taste terrible but, it's full of love and love is the best spice.
The choice is obvious
Is it wrong that I want this?
>Rin's Chocolate looks prepackaged chocolate you find at a convenience store or card shop
That's what she'd want you to think. She made it look store bought like she didn't care, but they were actually handmade.
Gil is always being a Tsundere, we all know he really loves those Fakers.
Why is Arc so much better than all the other Type Moon girls?
>for whatever reason they go to this park and they have like this blanket and they put it on the fucking grass and then i don't know i think rin says "okay, now let's eat"
I know what a picnic is dude you don't need to explain it to me.
I want to protect this smile
>'Die Lorelei' - Phillipp Friedrich Silcher ~ ローラレイ
not clicking that
I'm already in tears
>Rin doesn't want to go overboard with her present and is also kinda stingy so she gives Shirou a tiny amount of chocolates
>motherfucking Shirou just comes a month later waltzing in with that fuck huge chocolate heart
It's like he's screaming for a challenge at her.
I'd personally buy them all if I could
, though yeah, the main heroines and Illya would take some priority.
I'm taking all of them.
>The best would be Shirou's.
This is the only truth.
Rin isn't terribly competitive though. With Shirou, that is. She'd probably take it as a compliment, have someone else set up a video call with Luvia, and then eat the chocolate in front of her and ask her where her boyfriend's chocolate is with an innocent smile on her face
What areola/nipple size and shape do you prefer? Big, little, pinpoint, whatever.
