I cannot comprehend how anyone thinks this anime is anywhere near as good as the manga. Araki is a detailed artist that the anime doesn't have the budget to match. All the taking in the manga wrecks the anime's pace. Why do you think they're mimicking the SFX and poses exactly from the manga? Because it's a work that's tied to the comic medium and David knows that. They try their best but I think even they know they won't match it.

There are anime that have surpassed their manga. This isn't one of them. I don't hate the anime, but it's like the Watchmen film. You can tell they love the source and they're doing the best job you could hope for, but it still won't match it. I think it says a lot that Part 3 is one of my favourite manga ever and yet I haven't even bothered to start the Egypt anime arc yet.
