anime/manga which are widely known in Japan that are older than late 80's have no popularity in the west because they were never localized such as Kochikame, Oishimbo (but i guess this is more heavily targeted towards the japanese demographic), Leiji Matsumoto's works, Golgo 13, and many others.

I bought the box sets. The interview with Fred Ladd was super interesting. Pretty good story about how NBC ended up with it. There is even old footage of Japanese voice actors dubbing at Tezuka's studio.
