Yeah, that's true, but at the doujin resale shops they're definitely on point with the kancolle trend. When I went to a tora no Ana(?) just after last summer comiket they had the Kancolle stuff dominate the tables out front, and the 2hu stuff was in the shelving out back.

Though that was the lewd floor; 2hu has a lot of non-ecchi content, where as beyond a few doujinshi spinoffs from the manga, kancolle is pretty light on the non-lewd fanbase creations right? I'm not too sure though. I zipped through the non-lewd sections, as you do.

I guess the problem is that Strike Witches parades historical references from all the allied and axis powers, whereas Kancolle is almost purely focused on the Japanese navy (with a few Germans and a Soviet).
