So, when will the delicious cousin makes her appearance?
Also, keep the shitposting to the minimum and ignore the baits.
>not picking up everything
What do you do on parody/meta shows?
Megumi is so best girl it's not even funny.
>getting tired of qtpa2t grils
Dat feel when the true best girl won't win.
Is that a reference to what I'm thinking?
My heartpenis disagrees.
You can marry your cousin in most countries you know. For some reason they are hot most of the time.
I've got 5 female ones alone and all of them are Onee-sans. Live is literally hard.
>>You can marry your cousin in most countries you know.
Good. That's how it ought to be.
Everything just feels right. with the world.
A harem where 3 out of the 4 girls are all delicious is good enough for me.
Boring girl a shit.
Lucky fuck, all of mine are younger and vapid.
This show is fantastic by the by, I laughed pretty hard several times last ep, and it was most just due to Megumi saying something matter-of-factly.
>all of them are onee-san
Living the dream, I see.
I have never so strongly thought that a girl was best girl before this show.
Actually 4 of them are christmas cakes and one has a child. They live far away though.
My face when I just checked. Cousin marriage has never been really banned in Europe since the middle of the 18th century except in 3 countries.
I'm sorry for you USAnons. Blue is allowed red is banned etc.
Well, she makes up for it by being the hottest girl in the show.
I love all three equally, but if I have to choose, it would be long hair.
Eriri, Utaha, and Michiru are really great. Megumi is
>4 of them are christmas cakes
Megumi is great.
Utaha is also pretty good.
Michiru and Eriri
Michiru is the hottest though.
I knew someone would ask.
Hair normally grows around 11-12cm(1cm in warmer months or more a little less during colder months) a year around her age. If we take into account that she as dark brown hair her hair structure most likely is at least somewhat solid which still means she has to cut of around 2-4 cm every year so the ends don't split and look like shit no matter how much care she takes of it.
We end up with around 8-9cm a year.
Considering her height she must have grown it around 30-35 cm. For the ends to look as good as hers she also needs to have cut it recently in the last shot.
To grow hair from your shoulders to your ass takes around 7 years.
I'm usually a tsundere guy, but damn Megumi is winning me over. Plain moe is the new hotness.
It's a joke. The marketing makes the viewer think Eriri and Utaha are the main heroines only for them to flip their expectations when Megumi is the real main girl.
I always have a soft spot for the obligatory plain girl.
Friendly reminder that the only plain thing about her is her design while ehr character is the only natural and well working in the show that our glorious faggot of a MC wants to ruin making her a standard formula.
There is a gap between her anime and manga version (I don't read the LN). What happened?
Megumi is clearly different from those though.
She's also the most popular in japan and she's the only thing that keeps many anons watching me included.
I mean, not watching only for lewd like we otherwise would.
>not even doing it right
The usual plain archetype isn't nearly as indifferent yet alive as her though. They're mostly just shy as fuck. She is incredible rare among her archetype, it's like someone created a non-shitty tsundere all of a sudden.
>Whenever someone cuts their hair or grows it out it's because they underwent something that changed who they were.
Or if you're Nisio Isin you can just do it for shits and giggles.
Did his cousin dye her hair to stalk him?
Having long hair myself an knowing a girl who has even longer hair, yes. You take care of it for several years.
Real Yamato Nadeshiko who never ever cut their hair even had it rolled up to protect it from sun rays and impact onto skin that could split the ends.
The last part of your post is really not necessary.
I'm a fan of old-type tsunderes that are well written or tsunderes that are fully aware of how they're acting and they can be a lot of fun. It just nearly never happens especially in anime. It's the same with dandere. Most of the time they are dead eyed empty autistic blobs that are simply there.
And suddenly a random shonen like Absolut Duo can actually produce a damn good Ja and Nej saying dandere. It's just rare.
These are two damn rare characters tis season for me, I'm happy with that. We only need a good tsundere now.
>The usual plain archetype isn't nearly as indifferent yet alive as her though
That makes sense because the usual plain girl archetype isn't the main heroine.
I really like Kato, but I don't think it's some amazing feat that the main heroine of a work (as spoiled by the very title) is written to be interesting.
She isn't apparently. She makes a clear expression about things rather than the little expression she shows in the anime.
That's not what I said at all. I'm saying every character can be well written, they just rarely are in light novels or manga and tsundere is sadly the most overused and loudest archetype. Utaha actually gets on my nerves more in this specific show though.
>Not even sure if I can call it harem since it seems it's actually going to end with a single heroine.
Do you know what "harem" even means?
Here's some anime adaptations that aren't "harem" by that definition.
Well, that's new to me.
Gotta give my appreciation to all the girls who take a good care of their long hair.
short hair is still superior though
So, it is safe to follow the manga? Also, I've noticed Tomoya reacting in different way on his reason as to why he is so obsessed over Megumi as a main galge heroine. In Egoistic Lily, its pretty much like how the anime headed (his 'fated' encounter scene, etc etc). But in Saekano (main) manga, Katou's attitude and behavior is what makes Tomoya asked her to join his circle (and as a heroine model). It really doesn't help when both Katou in Saekano and Egoistic Lily gave very different impression. Which one is the real Katou anyway?
I know very well what harem means. But it isn't a full harem since it will most likely end with a decision and not a bunch of girls willing to share a guy or nothing ever happening.
Open endings or the lack thereof have absolutely nothing to do with whether something belongs in the harem genre.
Are there three or more people vying for the affection of a single protagonist and is said attraction central to the story? If yes, congratulations. It's a harem.
A harem by definition is a polyganous romantic relationship between one male and several females. No one here is in some kind of fixed or declared romantic relationship or anything that lasts.
I see, so basically 2 manga authors, 1 director/AD, are all confused as to how to interpret her character? Oh well,
God I hate this MC. Actually believing that glasses, braids or freckles make a girl plain. They may shove them into the straight-laced inchou role but they don't make a girl plain. These attributes are just fetish fodder like everything else is.
That's basically it but I guess two out of them are doing a good job.
The main Saekano manga Kato is the only one I dislike so far, she went full Onodera there.
>No one here is in some kind of fixed or declared romantic relationship
The fuck are you going on about?
First you try to say Saekano isn't harem because it looks like it will end with a single heroine, then you turn around and say that it's not harem because nobody is in a declared relationship?
You really have no idea what the harem genre is do you? By either of those criteria many anime that might as well be textbook definitions of harem don't fit the bill.
A genre is a very lose and not clearly defined sorting process for material and I dislike making it so simpel when most shows no matter how shallow are somewhat different. I'm staying with my declaration that this isn't a full fledged harem anime and above are my reasons for that.
You'll have to live with my opinion on that matter, I'm sorry anon.
Calling someone retarded while failing to understand what he is saying is rather laughable though. You're just looking for someone to shit on and I'm happy I'll never sink that low.
Then, don't go around saying "harem anime"/"not harem anime". Because obviously people will see it as harem "genre" anime. Because thats how it usually works like ever.
I never said any of that, I said I wouldn't define it as one.
>Not even sure if I can call it harem
Anon you're free to believe whatever the fuck you want is harem. But the fact is when you say "harem" among other people who watch anime there is a very common set of criteria that it means which isn't nearly as open to interpretation as your opinion.
I was talking about my definition. Mine. I actually wanted to talk with you guys about what makes a harem and where the difference in harem anime lies but instead got two autists who can't let go that I have a personal opinion.
This is so /a/
Megumi? More like Megami.
I had to force myself to finish episode 0, but now it's one of the most enjoyable show of the season so far. I have to admit though, episode 0 fucking sucks.
It doesn't though. I really loved how they stayed closed to the original character designs. And it was really good service. Too bad we hardly got any Megu.
You sound exactly like me. I hated episode 0 with passion and now I'm staying for her and her alone. And maybe tomboy lewd. Seeing Eriri and Utaha fight is surprisingly fun as well, they have great exchanges.
00 Will give you fanservice and some damn nice backgrounds but otherwise it's just tits and some nice talk with one girl. It's worth watching because the next two episodes feel like niveau is rising a lot.
>I actually wanted to talk with you guys about what makes a harem and where the difference in harem anime lies
Do you even bother reading your own posts?
It was already the general criteria of "what makes a harem". How do you even expect to discuss where the differences between harem anime if you insist on using your personal definition of harem against the common one?
Someone could tell you the differences between several harem anime and you'd simply dismiss it because it doesn't fit your "harem".
>Someone could tell you the differences between several harem anime and you'd simply dismiss it because it doesn't fit your "harem".
Nah, that wouldn't happen. Having an own opinion and accepting the broader genre definition is quiet possible and normal in many aspects not just genre and a part of social interaction.
>t was already the general criteria of "what makes a harem"
Partly it was, partly I was attacked for my opinion and that somehow got mixed up along the way.
I don't think there's any work being done on the LNs, but there are LN spoiler summaries floating around somewhere, but I don't have a link. I've only found a few translated chapters of the manga, too.
Plain girl is so good holy shit this show is so much better just because she's in it
Megumi is so fucking pure. I want to defile her.
Also, I don't think she would have objected if MC tried to make a move on her. She did accept his invitation to come over, and she not only hung around till night, she agreed to stay over. MC is a fucking faggot for not tapping dat.
she had no incentive to come over or stay in the first place. she was gambling. she knew he likely wouldn't make a move, but wouldn't oppose on the off chance that he did.
she's not a slut though
>Separated by three stations, I’m in a certain household, pushing the intercom.
>"They say 'prodigy at 10, talented at 20, and a normal person over 20'..."
>”You're too serious, too detailed, too bound with rules, you have big head, you always do what the teacher wants, you have good grades, and you're a little full of pride”
Too lazy to go through the whole thing again but most of it is very "rough" or just wrong. And they haven't done much of an editing job since what, last January?
The best girl
in her own spin-off ;_;
Only feels like it if you really want it to.
At least, Utaha leaves with a
