That's it. They're pretty different. Asuka's emotional issues go way further than anything Rin is afflicted with, and they are in entirely different scenarios.

Absolutely not. Their personalities are nothing alike. Rin was fairly mentally well-adjusted and didn't have near the irrational-streak that Asuka had, and she was often very supportive and helpful rather than just being a selfish and demanding cunt all the time.

I like Rin better than Asuka. Usually when she has a bad attitude it's for a good reason, as opposed to Asuka, who is just being a bitchy hormonal teenager with a shitty life that makes her act terribly to damn near everyone.

Also, Rin is more consistently animated (in the ufotable series which is all I've bothered with), so that's good too
