>Rat will never demand you a dry, emotionless casual sex
How does this make you feel?
>No one died.
>Slaine still being disliked.
>Rayet will never vent her anger at vers by raping you
Reminder that yellow is the best princess.
>a dry, emotionless casual sex
That sounds really painful
Literally anyone else would be preferable.
Get your filthy hands off my Yuki-nee
Lewdest and best.
There's one other good looking Inaho/Asseylum preview that I saw a while ago, and now I can't find it. It had a similar style to the first two links.
A damn shame, would hot bunk with Rayet whilst wooing Inko.
So why did A-1 have to fuck up what was a pretty good ending considering the 5-6 episodes prior to it were boring shit?
Aldnoah2 better find a way to carry itself, because that first episode was a fucking disappointment branching off that ending to Aldnoah1
El Dorito's going to need a lot of glass cleaner.
> > No one died
You forgot about the Martian soldiers piloting those mecha that inaho killed in cold blood.
you know, the soldiers serving under Slaine.
I am being baited.
SEAGULLS AND MEN MUST LEARN TO BE TOGETHER ENDING IN RECAP.
NOW HE CALLS SLAINE SEAGULL
AFTER NO DIFFERENCES INSERT SONG PLAYS FOR THEM
AND AN OP THEY DON'T FIGHT
HURR DURR WHAT A DIFFICULT. LET ME THINK ABOUT THIS COMPLEX ANIMU.
>That disgusting pleb leaves such a mess on the tank...
I may have gone too far in a few places
Such a cute semen demon. I love jealous girls.
I hope she fucks things up for the Martian war effort.
>Count Saazbaum, my room is too warm.
>Uh sorry, we'll get that fixed right after this major campaign--
>I turned off every Kat on the moon, so you can fix my thermostat right fucking now.
What if Hime 2.0 tries to kill Hime 1.0, but Inaho saves Asseylum and takes her to the Terran side?
I wonder if Slaine will realize that since the Deucalion is up and running, Asseylum gave the rights to somebody, hence kissing them.
Unless its just boring fluid transfer so blood would work as well.
Lemmywinks will unplug her but it will cause her to wake up.
Seylum > Lemrina > Rayet > Yuki-nee > Asseylum
>I wonder if Slaine will realize that since the Deucalion is up and running,
Slaine doesn't give a shit, bro. He's not looking forward to hurt his Hime's friends but this is a war.
>Shoots a guy full of holes
>Shots another guy in the head at short range
>Doesn't manage to kill anyone
Where the Martians taking the piss out of Slaine? Did they give him a gun that fires paintballs and tell him it was real or something?
He already feels like it'll make Asseylum sad if they fight them, seems Eddelrittuo has told him quite a bit.
Do it if you get time.
>Cripple-hime with a smug face tells Ass-hime about she and Slaine
>Ass-hime congratulates her with a sincere smile and goes to look for Eggs
This has a lot of potential trolling.
TV series has
five major deaths and eight side character deaths. Prequel OVA kills everyone but two characters, one of whom subsequently bites it in the TV series. Movie has two major more-or-less-deaths.
The TV series and movie are both "bittersweet victory at a price." The OVA is absolute despair.
It's basically Eva but done different. It takes place on an island, the village is like a big family instead of people with psychological disorders and it has a lot of military porn especially in the movie and Exodus.
In the prequel OVA,
a large group of people are left on a moving island to fight a delaying battle to protect the rest of their society, which is on a different moving island. Everyone on the delaying battle island dies, but they do succeed in protecting the main island, which is where the first TV series later takes place. Then the MC's dog also dies.
TV series just killed a lot of people at the beginning and the end.
How much butthurt will there be if Inaho and Slaine become friends and when Asseylum wakes up there's no drama? What if Inaho gets with her and Slaine is happy for them?
Gets a date, either her or her date dies.
What's the likelihood of that happening?
I was thinking, what's the possibility that a lot of the Knights don't have Aldnoah at all but had their drives activated by the Emperor himself? Would explain away the Emperor having to make out with all of them.
I wont be mad but it sure will be disappointing.
Hime x Inaho are OTP though
She has a date.
All she needs to do is ask
Our threads are lonely.
the series wouldn't be any different if she died in the first episode and inaho kissed asshime just because they were getting close rather than saving her from being suffocated. or if they just had a random soldier who hated martians do it too
maybe she will kill her to have some use for her
>and inaho kissed asshime just because they were getting close rather than saving her from being suffocated.
Other than characterization, you mean? Aoki doesn't view his feelings as romantic and she only believes they are friends.
That would be pretty disappointing and serve to prove that the end of the first half was done just so they could have a lazy cliffhanger. I don't need stupid misunderstandings but Slaine deserves to have Hime know what he's done.
Its more like its one of those shows rated highly because its not very popular in /a/. Like pingpong.I wouldn't call them hipsters though because they seem to actually like the show instead of liking it just to be contrarian and show of their "patrician taste"
That's entirely why it was done, just to have that cliffhanger. The misunderstandings on Slaine's part have been cleared and now that Inaho knows who Bat is the misunderstanding on his end have mostly been cleared too. He just needs to find out what happened to Asseylum now.
First TV series is solidly decent at worst and absolutely charming at best, though the second half is better than the first. Pros are its themes (the difficulty of communication, the importance of having something to fight for), stunning music, and the fight choreography. Cons are Hiraiface, dated animation, and slow pacing in the first half. There's a lot of SOL (to emphasize what the characters have to fight for) for a mecha series, which is a con for some. OVA is universally beloved. Second TV series has blown me out of the water so far, and Angela's "Exist" is probably OP of the season.
Aldnoah and Fafner fandoms do overlap
in that all five Fafner thread regulars probably watch Aldnoah, but they're very different shows. Aldnoah is briskly paced, plot driven, and filled with twists; Fafner is comparatively sedate and character driven.
People who watch this show are pleb enough to blame Slaine for everything when he's clearly been the victim this entire time. Chimps like the casual /a/ poster will never understand a character as complicated as Slaine, much less his motives.
"This is about Slaine Troyard when he's a teenager. This is when he's a good boy. Now what happens to him?"
>He joins the Martians?
"He joins the anime industry."
Yes. Daman's BD rips are the best choice.
Smile I want to protect
This would actually work for Slaine and Saazbaum's plan. If the Emperor activated all of those drives then when he dies all of the Counts will lose Aldnoah except for Saazbaum's faction. The Emperor might have told Saazbaum to have "Asseylum" go and activate all of the drives before he dies.
The Hiraiface is definitely a drawback.
nip twitterit's about symbolism of Inaho being far from her but close to her ideals while Slaine is close to her but has turned her back to her ideals. It's not about shipping or romance, that's why the OP also kills her off.
This is what happens when you kill a containment board like /pol/. The cancer spreads to the entire website. /int/ is basically /pol/ 2.0 now instead of just /pol/-lite and their epin memes are spreading everywhere.
>watching season 2 of the most disappointing anime of 2014
-Jealous sister soap opera drama
-Actual character development
What is this allowed? Why can't fucking Earth get interesting development?
Yeah, I'm not sure about the landing castles though- Those just presumably always stay powered so you wouldn't need to have the source of their activation present and exposed to danger but who knows?
Inaho is reaching out for her in the same place she was in OP 1, there's even her gun at his feet. He's unable to grasp her though.
Slaine's with her, but he is turning his back to her presence (behind him, crying and vanishing before he noticed) and he's walking away from their memento.
It's more symbolic than romantic. She's just some spark of light after her body was consumed by Aldnoah. That doesn't really speak highly of her survival chances or her relevance in this cour. How you think she'll awake and have a romance with Eggs when she's confirmed as only friend and she's in coma in both ED AND OP (or death in OP)? I don't know.
Meanwhile they invest time to make Inaho blush around Inko and tease her and act like actual dense romance protag while he's called an idiot. Remember Aoki said he's not quite sure if what he feels for Hime is romantic love and that the Salsa/Inaho speech to Slaine/Hime about war and hatred are meant to be parallels.
Mars is having to introduce and establish a few new key characters so it makes sense that we're spending a bit more time there at the moment.
That was just a way to establish one of the features of Inaho's new eye that he would be utilizing later in the episode.
If Mars was so good, then why is their protagonist a Terran?
Nice to see some females in Saazbaum's forces.
I agree, Marito is about as relevant to the plot as the three minute beach segment. I expected all his PTSD shit to go somewhere, but nope
Slaine's the best possible hero face for the blue collar revolution. A Terran immigrant who was abused by the system yet he remained loyal and humble, a true patriot, while the majority of nobility except a few like Crouton (who recognized Slaine) just use it as lipservice to gather power and fatten up. Slaine's concerned about the poor and helpless of Vers and their future. Now wonder he's adored by the oppressed and low ranked soldiers, no wonder Lemrina, who feels castaway herself, fell for him.
Saucedick did a lot of wrongs, but he really hit goldmine by propping up his figure. The thing is that he now he is gathering reputation, if he is won by the UNDERSTANDING side, he can more effectively be used as example of "the best of yours is a Terran. So do you really hate Terrans?" question.
Apparently the /a/ mod was too vocal about his conservative politics in the janny IRC.
Slaine's nowhere near the shitbag Char is, though.
Not seeing why someone's politics in IRC have any impact on their job moderating this place. That's like working for Target and getting fired for being seen shopping at Wal-Mart.
Sauce is changing though, I think Slaine's a good influence. He even feels bad he's fooling a dying old man when he would be gloating over this in first cour.
>He even feels bad he's fooling a dying old man when he would be gloating over this in first cour.
The real reason he didn't want to adopt him would be because he would make him forget about his revenge.
I just want Earth to win the war. That would make my hour.
Saazbaum really does feel like his uncle now.
It felt like he was going to get over his issues and pop out to help the kids kill hand bitch. Then he just sat there and puked in the cockpit.
I kept waiting over and over again for all that buildup to lead somewhere. Him dieing now would be just as garbage as him not doing anything. I'm not sure if the director wanted to do something and ran out of time or what, I'm confused about his entire character past the second episode.
Forget his revenge and he'd wind up spoiling him rotten, he feels like he'd be an overly doting parent. I just want a flashback to when Dr. Troyard saved him and he had to babysit toddler Slaine.
I don't give a shit about the Earth war, I want the Mars revolution subplot to happen after the Emperor croaks.
He's still demi-relevant as a contrast to Saazbaum (both traumatized at the same place at the same time, one became an alcoholic and the other orchestrated an interplanetary war).
It's all build-up until Magberadge's repressed jealousy becomes too much for her to handle and she forgive-fucks Marito and he'll be cured and she'll be cured and Dr. Mindbender's experiment will be complete. Yuki-nee is being set up for NTR but doesn't know it.
He's better than Marito, but he's pretty lackluster compared to Nao-kun.
He reminds me of the angsty fedora tipper that goes around and complains how horrible the world is.
>"You did great! You deserve some medals!"
>"Pfft, medals are useless in the world we live in"
They'll both have to leave their respective bases, maybe they'll fight again and crash to Earth? Inaho was looking for him so maybe he'll come up with some plan so he can encounter him again.
I just want to see them fight it out in puffy orange spacesuits.
That solidifed my dislike of Marito. What the fuck is his problem? They've taken down multiple kats by that point while all he's done is get his ass kicked and he just shows up to piss on their party.
Ending Lyrics: Genesis.
In the future we wander through,
We're* searching for a light within a constrained sky.
Our trembling hands are powerless, our screams still far off,
But we can't afford to fear taking flight.
Even if we're not eternal, even if we're not perfect,
We'll live fully in this contradictory world.
No matter how many times we're hurt, no matter how many mistakes we make,
We'll soar beyond fate, until we reach the ends of this sky...
Believing in a beginning...
You're the Genesis.
Bokutachi = Speaking of two boys perspective.
Inko finds out that Inaho's been sleeping with Rayet.
How long will it take for Inaho to meet face to face again, and how will it happen?
Dual crash landing on an island? Dual crash landing on the moon in puffy orange space suits? Unexpected meetup in neutral territory? Deucalion raid on the Moon Base? Tharsis raid on Trident Base?
Place your bets.
Dorito and Hime
>In the future we wander through,
>We're searching for a light within a constrained sky.
>Our trembling hands are powerless, our screams still far off,
Inaho in school
>But we can't afford to fear taking flight.
Slaine with Crouton
>Even if we're not eternal, even if we're not perfect,
>We'll live fully in this contradictory world.
>No matter how many times we're hurt, no matter how many mistakes we make,
>We'll soar beyond fate, until we reach the ends of this sky...
>Believing in a beginning...
The two pointing guns as in cour 1 ending.
>You're the Genesis.
Seems like they are going to meet up again on Spaghetti island unless Sauce decides to retreat back to the moon base after deploying the troops or whatever.
That's pretty good, I can actually see that misunderstanding happening.
Maybe wherever they're at in the ED illustration? I can see Inaho pulling something to meet him since he was looking for him, if it has to do with Asseylum he does get restless.
Slaine just generally looks tired while Inaho looks determined. Since Inaho can tell if a person is lying then maybe he'll get Slaine to say what he's really thinking? I'm not sure we've seen the real Slaine yet.
I think we saw the "real Slaine" in flashbacks and when he was fighting alongside Inaho in "Boys of Earth" -- polite, realistic but positive, quick thinking, intuitive, and attuned to other people's happiness, but easily flustered and more likely to speak his mind and backtalk people.
Season two Slaine is more in tune with "Boys of Earth" than Slaine was around Cruhteo, Trillram, Saazbaum, or even Asseylum in the first season, just because he speaks his mind and expresses happiness.
He needs Saazbaum alive for now, but I think he's going to pull a Garma on him once he's outlived his usefulness and he can adequately secure Hime from any fallout (or more assassination attempts). As for the NewType thing, it's too soon to tell if that's all Tharsis being Aldnoah-edgy or something about himself being Doc Troyard's kid. Time will tell.
Let's hope, because the rage-fuelled sex afterwards is always the best fucks of your life.
Am I the only one who hopes Bowlcut's weirdo phase field just transfers whatever it touches to Mars? Rayet's dad and Okisuki could still be alive, wouldn't that be the asspull of all asspulls?
Think it's because he does agree with Saazbaum on helping the regular Martians and he views Saazbaum as the only way to accomplish that. At least until now, he's been gaining support and now with Lemrina possibly in love with him he could possibly get by without him.
Did anyone notice Slaine's not fighting with the regular Vers soldiers? He always appears to protect them when they are in trouble.
Will Earth introduce any new weapons this cour?
We still have new cases of polio in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and one other country I'm forgetting because doctors can't reach everyone to vaccinate them.
I'm sure that there are plenty of other reasons that a person's nerves or muscles could be fucked up enough that they can only walk in zero-G, but I assume anime writers have about the same level of medical expertise I do (absolutely none) and polio is famous-ish for its association with FDR. Lem was born after the Hyper Gate collapsed, so unless Mars had a big stockpile of vaccines or could make them on planet, they wouldn't have been vaccinating kids.
>tfw it's something lame like rickets
>Physical signs of spina bifida may include:
>- Leg weakness and paralysis [...]
>- Bladder and bowel control problems [...]
>- Abnormal eye movement
>68% of children with spina bifida have an allergy to latex
The doujins would be interesting.
>if I had been allowed to play with Asseylum when she had chicken pox, I would have gotten chicken pox and wouldn't have gotten rickets later in life!
Seriously though, her fucked up legs can probably be blamed on something her family did.
Except we already know Daddy banged multiple chicks, since Lemur's mom isn't the same one as Asshime's. Purity doesn't seem to be high on the regard list for the Vers royal family.
>ITT: /a/ plays House
We need to rule out possibilities between infection, autoimmune, and environmental, based on almost zero evidence or information.
But we can rule out everything that a Japanese script writer with a fine arts degree wouldn't be able to think of. That narrows it down a lot.
