Anshin'in is the all-powerful Author, Freshmaker is the Reader. Even though Anshin'in has control of the world, Freshmaker can ignore anything the author writes or does because ultimately the fans are in control of whether or not the author's world succeeds. IE We can choose to have it cancelled by not supporting it.

It's why Medaka had to turn her entire body into a style. A speech-based power-up. Because the author can only interact with the reader through the story and the stuff they write down.

Because you haven't seen Kumagawa yet. Watch the very last episode of the second season and you'll see what I mean. The arc that comes literally right after the anime ends is by far the best in the series and Kumagawa single handedly saves it.
Also Medaka isn't that bad, you'll kinda like her by the end. But you'll LOVE Zenkichi.

Not that anon but the music thing is obviously a side effect of being unable to be human. She can't connect with people in any significant manner and her inability to suck leaves her isolated from other people.

Normal people can join groups and establish relationships with people, in their weakness they're able to cling together and not be alone.

Even with all these people around Medaka, no-one actually understands her and no matter what positive actions she takes to try and help people, she's unable to overcome this loneliness.

There's no one there to actually feel empathy for such a perfect being and that in itself is causing an issue.

People are putting too much emphasis on the fact "The End" allows her to do everything and then just stop there and think "She's a Mary Sue" without realizing that Medaka is written how a Mary Sue would actually end up being if you were perfect at everything. Alone against her will.

Alright, this I can agree on.
He certainly do more with her character than with Aikawa or 7mi, though because of her central position in the story, Medaka ended up being a lot less fun than either of her prototypes.
