I feel like this is the kind of anime that has the most controversial opinions.
If you are into such kind of storytelling and pace, you will like it a lot. If you are not, then it's absolutely shit to you.
I personally loved the vibe of this anime but there were some plots in the second half that made me cringe.
I read the LN after and the story was quite interesting I think. At least comparing to most of the corny LNs these years.

Overall, I like the series but I think I can understand the reason that some people can't withstand it. Is because the overnarration/overcomplicated of the story...don't know if there is a word to define it.

What I mean is that it's a pretty simple story but they try to hard to make it look as if was some convoluted story, playing with the order of the events and timelines when is just a shonen urban fantasy.

Is the same Shaft did with Dance in the vampire bund, trying to pick something that is pure action pornography and trying to make it look intellectual...just won't work for most people because those who wanted something intellectual will think is just bullshit and those who expected action will be bored.

That's Drrrr flaw is not smart but wants to sell itself as smart, what disappoints much people. They should sell itself as what it is, urban fantasy.
