Announced to be made into reality by Silver Link.
Threads will be full of shitposting, up until zombie apocalpyse. Then there will be even more shitposting.
More gore and psycho antagonists than you can ever imagine. Less of harem hijinks and fanservice then you think there is.
Oh, you read manga? What a shame, manga was garbage of a novel adaptation, that's why they're restarting it - a new manga is coming.
Death, destruction and broken characters, and in not a good way.
Imouto is not pleased with your horrible labeling.
She glares at you.
There is no harem. There is only imouto and her oniichan. Period.
I'm ready for the DFC lover
Visuals are everything to an adaptation. Everything else comes from the plot they adaptin'.
At least Silver Link isn't afraid to add some gore and blood, and this series' very essence is gore and blood.
Such a liar.
Although I do not recommend reading manga beyond... idk, chapter 5. It goes shitty and stuffs the series with manga-destroying level fanservice.
The original novel is a post-apocalyptic dark-fantasy grimdark novel with very very slight harem hijinks.
On the left, novel version of the manga scene~
How dare you put the super-friggin possessive legendary sword so far in the ranking.
You made her cry.
Well, in the novel there's a huge emphasis on character development.
Before v6 she only thought of herself as a sword. From now on she'll be developing her 'human' character I guess?
No man, just think about it.
Let's say you're welding some legs to your new workbench, and then suddenly the iron starts to spill tears.
Shit man, I'd get the fuck out of there so fast the electrode wouldn't have enough time to fall to the floor and potentially melt some rodent before the room is vacated.
Worry not, I come to rescue.
>Read the book
Not even once.
Appreciating Ouka's legs and boobs?
Taken from translators website.
Starts as a rather generic guns vs. magic setting with a harem but gets progressively better and darker as it goes on. Author isn't afraid to do some fucked up shit to his characters.
No need to worry, best girl is around since the very beginning.
Is this action? Like seriously, give Silver Link a good budget and a pure action series or you are just wasting their skills, Fate/kaleid is like ufotable-quality, fuck harems too.
Swords are almost always best girls.
Clearly you didn't read it.
It's not a school life series. Yes, they start off in school, but there's no school life in it. Unless carnage, people dying in hundreds is what you call school life.
As for spoiler illustration... mc's imouto, the cliché imouto who makes lunch boxes for her brother and loves him very much, waking him up every morning... oor maybe not.
Instead of Fate/kaleid there are many other fate stories that they could animate. Why the fuck do you want to animate the loli story ? The manga arc has not even ended yet.If you want lolis go watch you mahou shojo shit.
Very heavy action wise, the novel has long, battles explained in details which are a really good read. The lore is very deep and based on clear rules in the world (as is magic).
So yes, there's a lot of action, lot's of flashy combat with no bullshit in, either swords, guns or magic. Characters don't pull out stuff from their ass or resort to "nakama power". Everything has a good reason and the characters don't "power-up" out of nowhere.
If you want to know more, I recommend reading through at least full 5 volumes of the novel (heck, it takes 5 volumes to reach its full potential, although it's fairly good from the beginning).
Because they have shown that they can animate Fate/kaleid, I honestly don't mind what they animate but I'd rather them keep doing what they are doing then risk at something that might suck.
Heavy spoilers underneath.
Yeah, he gets cut in half in the first volume and is forced to listen to the worst manipulative psycho ever, otherwise he instadies. His little sister is used for experiments for years straight, is killed and revived practically every day. [/quote]
So yeah, self-inserting into mc is not a good idea.
Like that matters, just because the MC got his dick cut-off doesn't mean they don't want you to self-insert, the MC doesn't have to be perfect to self-insert, that's like saying Mahouka's MC isn't made for self-insertion because he has no emotions and can't get hard.
Man, I should really get abck around to reading this. Left off at like vol.3 or something. Is there a concrete release date? I've been looking forward to this and it's nice to see a non-shitty studio is doing it.
The anime was announced like a year ago and we only heard just now what studio will be covering it and nothing else. My bet would be summer or fall.
Whatever they do, I hope it's two cour
Self insert is one way to enjoy a story, i agree with you. Sometimes people didn't know what they are talking about, probably just following what shitposters said and treat it as truth.
Can't wait for a bunch of anons complaining about pic related when it happens in the anime.
>MC got his dick cut-off
Wait, what? Really?
Yeah, and Miyano can pull off slick as well as batshit crazy. Perfect choice for Haunted.
Others are a bit harder. I can picture bunny being Yuka Iguchi, but I'm sure there's a better choice.
Didn't the manga for this end already? Or did it get axed?
I remember laughing so hard at that final battle, where he tries to save the girl and survives, makes it seems like he's fine
but has half of his body cut off
The manga got axed for being funny, while it shouldn't. Some serious shit with occassional comedy hijinks. Not straight up comedy with shittons of fanservice.
Novel continues currently at 9 vols and no signs of stopping.
The previous manga adaptation was scrapped.
Hooooweeever however however.
There's a new adaptation coming, it features a different mangaka and will restart from the veeery beginning.
The previous adaptation has disappeared from fujimi shoubo's antimagic's page as if never existed.
Not the guy you're replying to but I'm glad to hear that, I had read the manga and found it to be pretty meh, and then it just up and ended like it did. Will the manga restart and be handled better by chance?
After the failure of previous one, panties, panties, panties, bras, and panties, I'm guessing that this one will follow the plot faithfully and won't experiment with absurd levels of fanservice.
Actually I liked the first few chapters of the manga. But then it went straight downhill.
Further research yields this.
February issue, on the right side you can see Ouka, it says that there'll be a colour for it.
Manga magazines almost always come out 'a month in advance'.
All of Comic Alive's new serialization get 3 color pages, one of them always a color spread. Literally nothing new.
Well. His waist down was separated from his body and put back together using magic superglue that will wear off if any of the higher-ups at school decide to take his sword loli away.
