I get what's going on in the show. In fact, episode 2 made a lot more sense than episode 1 (anybody who says they don't get it or there's no plot or whatever is fucking retarded at this point) but what I can't wrap my mind about is the court scenes. What is going on in them?

They looked like a "oh we're gonna do this for maybe every other episode or switch it up" but no, this is our Ikuhara repeated animation sequence like ZUM and SEIZON SENRYAKU. And unlike those I have 0 idea what is supposed to be happening. They don't even eat Kureha

Morishima's characters(her art style, anyway) are usually so bubbly and expressive even when pissed off that when a character like Walter Payton over here has a perfectly neutral expression it's unsettling.
