Will we get a Meliodas flashback with the hints on this page?
Is it okay if I started referring to these guys as the three musketeers? I know it's inaccurate but that keeps popping each time I see them.
I wonder what is a story between Mel, Liz and their clans. For now it seems like it was because of Mel demon clan was originally sealed in the first place, but judging by how gods are treating him, he sealed of greatly weakened them along with demons.
But i really dislike his behavior. Instead of pushing Liz away he could tell her at least something to ease her mind. Guess he knows that it's a best way to keep her in safety, but still.
Also Diane remembering everything wasn't really surprising, it was hinted during the festival arc already. Now they will certainly not reunite in quite some time because of demonic invasion, so both of them will get their share of suffering.
To be honest I was hoping she would regain her memories during a moment when King would be seriously injured, she remembers and then go madly on a rampage.
>Liz in maid uniform
Please don't use that slutty boar hat form anymore, this is much better.
>something good happening to king
More like death flags popping up for King/Ban/Diane fucking everywhere.
Although I say King has a deathflag due to Diane's statements, I can't help but feel he won't be in danger due to him recently getting the helmet to see his bff. It would just feel weird for him to die so soon after that development.
However seeing as how it's the second time now he's gotten the
>Protect Ban for me
I'm pretty sure Ban is going to be the first to run into the Demon clan by mistake. And he's going to get fucked up hard, since we already know that Mel could perma-damage him which implies that anyone from the demon clan can do the same.
Who knows for Diane. But I'll go ahead and guess someone from the demon side will be able to cause mental damage like Gowther.
>which implies that anyone from the demon clan can do the same
Red and ash were unable to damage him permanently. I bet that only bearers of the full mark can do this, vergiliodas and spardaliodas.
I still wouldn't cross out one of the sins being able to die. I mean Ban has already stated that there is definitely a way to bring someone else back to life.
I'd be interested if it came down to him being able to resurrect Elaine or someone like King who died protecting him
I just liked the way the second panel could be like a possible clue to a Flashback or mel and eliz and then in the third panel its actually kids playing tag so it kind of a neat treat if you were paying attention.
I loved both Elizabeth's and Diane's confession. They give off a bittersweet vibe which makes them all the more endearing. Now all that's left is both Meliodas and King getting their shit together.
Mel being a dick out of nowhere bothered me too. While it's understandable he wants to protect her, the more he keeps the demons a secret, the more danger everyone will face, especially his beloved.
>King get to be King of the fairies again but the fairies demand that he never leave the forest ever
>Can only watch Dianne from the fairy world
There's nothing to give a fuck about, her affection for Meliodas was very clear for a long while now. I'm more curious if she'll sneak off and try to follow Captain's group on their mission again.
Right now he's just really not himself. Possibly the only creatures who are capable of dishing out the same level of destruction as he can when he's angry has broken up from the seal, and there's no doubt they will target Liz to get more blood out of her.
It's not a matter of confession itself, but the person she tell about it. Diane was always jealous of her and sorting things out between them was necessary.
I don't really think so.
Even when she does confess, Mel is simply going to turn her down. There's literally no reason for him to say yes. While he is interested in protecting her, and if the reincarnation theory is true then it furthers said interest.
But there's certainly no love on the side of Mel for the current Elizabeth.
Also like he was saying
>Criminal can't be with Royalty
>Ban feels the presence of demon clan nearby and tries to get his revenge, almost annihilated in the process
>King tries to save him and fails miserably too
>Sins backup arrives, Diane is so buttmad she ends up damaging some demons
>King is in coma and there's no way to tell if he will ever come back
>But there's certainly no love on the side of Mel for the current Elizabeth.
No, i'm pretty certain that he loves her as strong as she loves him. Reincarnations share the personal traits, it seems, as Danafor Liz was simply a little more active but otherwise as kind as Lioness Liz. He simply hides his feelings because he already witnessed her death many times and wants her to live at least somehow longer is happiness and safe from any danger.
>inb4 Hawk was originally a real dragon who helped Mel to carry his plan during the holy war
>he was cursed by gods to endlessly reincarnate as puny and weak animals
>still wants to help Mel
And she lost her memory again? Now they can start fresh together.
That's true, he's the only one without any mutual romantic interest waiting at the kingdom. Maybe he'll find someone during his travel.
This chapter is full of deathflags, holy shit.
Especially given that they are obviously going to confront the demons.
Also remember the prophecy? It says that 3 heroes will stand against the beast.
Can it be that it refers to Mel and his brothers and demons will not even be the real danger in this arc?
That huge figure looks like an immense golem, if anything, just like the ones that were used in Holy War. Maybe un-sealing demons un-sealed the power of holy clan as well and they've decided to act.
>Elaine's spirit will live in Jericho's body
>Jericho will have the worse fate of any NNT character because her body will be used by Ban but she by herself will never be loved by him
Someone finally wrote down the characters' birthdays from the official calendar.
>Apr 1st: King
He can never catch a break.
HOLY SHIIIT FUCK YES!
If Ban dies I'm going to write a strongly worded letter to Nakaba stating how his series has turned to literal shit for killing off the best character in any series ever.
Fuck, the things this chapter did to my heart.
Seems like this chapter reinforces the theory that what erased Danafor from the map and killed Liz was a fight between Meliodas and one from the demon clan. That attitude of "no way in hell" felt very strange coming from him.
I guess only 2 of them are as strong as Mel, or 1 even stronger than he is.
Others maybe can be brought down by combined forces of all Sins with their sacred treasures except Mel who probably can solo multiple high-ranked demons at once if he stops holding back.
>Merlin teleports demons to the core of the earth or to outer space so they can't reach the planet
We already know that powerlevels are useless in battle. She might have a huge magic value, but the other thing is how she uses it. She might be a very strong support mage, for example with some powerful, but minor direct attacks.
6666 in each stat.
Meliodas also holds down even his non-demonic power a lot, what Hawk saw is probably a powerlevel of relaxed Mel, not the serious one who can move so fast it looks like teleporting and slashes the air with such force that it creates shockwaves.
Right, Gowther is the debuff magic-ranger character, mixing archery with spells. With Merlin handling dispels and spatial fuckery.
Ban and Mel are both Agi/Str, leaning more towards one respective attribute.
Diane is the tank with crazy health and huge ranges of attack while King is a weak shit summoner/telekinetic who needs roots and dolls to fight for him.
And Escanor is a wild card though in my head I picture a speed demon.
I dont think power level changes based on being relaxed or not.
Though his demon mode power level would be pretty high.
Meliodas easily kicked ban's ass during Byzel, and Ban had his own above 3000 power level + all of Mel's strength and speed, that he stole via Snatch, giving him nearly twice that.
So demon Mel is like over 6,000 power level? I would guess.
So far she dispelled magic, created shrinking pills and in general seems to be able to manipulate the size of a person, plus can teleport and create illusions. Seems like a buff/debuff character to me.
It's her unique gimmick, they all have one.
Diane-Geomancy (When the fuck are we going to see MetalDiane again?)
King-Disaster(Whatever the hell it does.)
Guys, guys, guys
What if Merlin can't teleport people away, but just can activate people powers against their will meaning she used Vivians teleportation ability against her.
Not even 6000. Mel had at least some difficulties against a guy who was on 2/3 of his powerlevel because he didn't wanted to kill him but was unable to just neutralize him. In ban's case he crushed a man holding up like 6000 powerlevel like he was made out of paper.
This chapter. All of my heartboners.
It feels so nice, with so many characters being perfectly clear on their feelings, unlike various other series I could mention. Though I still can feel the suffering looming on the horizon.
Well, if we think about it, Helbram had a 2000ish power level, at least, since he was above Gil and Hauser who have 1900.
He also had the power of 20 holy knights via his link ability, and the average holy knight's power is 300
So like 2000 + (20X300) = 8000?
and Helbram says Mel's power level was STILL growing.
>and the average holy knight's power is 300
And i don't think that those knights were average. At least Jericho's brother seems to be platinum-level. It was easily much higher, like 10-12k, and Mel started overpowering it without sacred treasure. He's beyond monster.
In my mind, a different moniker popped up.
Agreed. Dat delicious highlighted waist and bust line.
No, this is her best costume.
I just know we're going to get a Diane fight where she starts out human-sized, gets her ass kicked only to finally revert and steamroll her opponent.
It's going to be generic as shit and awesome.
King mentioned triggering Rheuma within Cain when he tried to use it in Byzel.
There's a Shakespearian work involving the Queen and King og Fairies, Titania and Oberon.
They argueing over what to do with a changeling child from a Human follower leading to nature going haywire and diseases striking (Literally mentions Rheumatic Diseases).
An example of that:
The human mortals want their winter here;
No night is now with hymn or carol blest:
Therefore the moon, the governess of floods,
Pale in her anger, washes all the air,
That rheumatic diseases do abound:
And thorough this distemperature we see
The seasons alter: hoary-headed frosts
Far in the fresh lap of the crimson rose,
And on old Hiems' thin and icy crown
An odorous chaplet of sweet summer buds
Is, as in mockery, set: the spring, the summer,
The childing autumn, angry winter, change
Their wonted liveries, and the mazed world,
By their increase, now knows not which is which:
And this same progeny of evils comes
From our debate, from our dissension;
We are their parents and original.
Except for Elizabeth, I like how her sisters personalities can be seen so clearly.
Margaret being the sophisticated mature lady while Veronica is the tomboy who'd rather not dress in the standard Princess clothing.
>it really is going nowhere fast
I don't really know what you mean. Maybe it feels that way because the pacing is somewhat slower compared to earlier arcs but that's only because the manga was very fast paced to begin with.
Elizabeth is influenced by both of them.
She's not as rebellious as Veronica but she will try to handle things by herself if she's forced to, and while she's younger than Margaret she's definitely knows a great deal about the royal etiquette and manners.
That also happened in KB, and it was truly satifying.
>Demon attacks fairy forest
>King manages to repel him
>Fairies forgive him and guilt trip King into staying to protect the forest
>Diane doesn't know about this and even is she knew, can't reach the forest by herself
>I wonder how you were doing in regards to having to be separated from Elizabeth and sir Meliodas.
Fucking hell Niggastream.
Not deathflag, but suffering flag for sure.
They will obviously not gonna end up together for a long time, going on separate journeys.
It was really unwise for King to leave without a single note and now they can't track him down because he's in fairy realm.
It's going to end up with the three groups (holy knights, King & co, Mel &co) each having their own demons to fight against and probably getting drawn together for the final showdown.
Dunno if it's just me, but I prefer Diane way more in her minature (matrona) form than her giantess form.
But I'd rather have her be a giant since that's what makes her unique and identifiable. Plus IIRC the notable thing about the SDS is that none of them are same (one's a giant, a demon, fairy, etc)
Not sure how much backlash I'm gonna get for this, but, as for ships I'd actually like to see him be with Merlin. Though that's because I think that it's because they'd have an interesting dynamic more than anything else.
>Diane is in mid fight with a demon
>incapacitates demon temporily
>sees this shit happen too many times to Diane
>musters up courage to confess
>Diane sees this happening
>interrupted half way since demon attacks again
>tag team the demon
>demon is serious since threat is greater
>unbeknownst to Diane and King
>Demon manipulates King's attack to kill Diane
or something like this would be the worst for King IMO
Sorry, I meant Ban.
I dunno why, but it appeals to me. Although I'd rather have him be with Elaine since inter-team relationships usually ruin shit and she can reveal a side of him most don't see.
I probably like Ban and Merlin by virtue of them both being strong and having a dynamic that could be interesting based on their personalities.
Diane is a miracle of the universe in any form.
I'm hoping the mushroom pills aren't over-used though for the reasons you gave. Will be fine if they're only used occasionally when in towns
Merlin has been Nakaba'ed already.
They won't see each other for a long long time right?
King for the next Odysseus.
