KLK has the best threads on /a/ since Code Geass.

It was fun, but the show wasn't good beyond the first cour. Imaishi is probably the main reason the show went to shit. He's competent, but far from good.

I don't think many were denying it besides a few contrarian fags that weren't actually watching it with /a/ when it aired anyway.

I mean yeah it let down a lot of people's expectations, but still the ride from week to week was a hell of a lot of fun.

I loved the threads when it aired. I loved the show as I watched it. People predicted Kill la Kill would be the type of show that /a/ would act like they never loved once it stopped airing. So I wasn't surprised. Just saddened.

KLK was a fun show and the first half was great. The second half didn't really deliver but it was still fun all the way through.

As someone who only just watched KLK in the space of 3 days I can entirely see how a lot of people think It's shit

I no doubt would have dropped it had been waiting a week between episodes given that the first 11 episodes go at a snails pace and leave you thinking 'where the fuck is this going? Jesus christ this all just feels like fucking filler, and we're not even half way'

The pacing is absolute shit. I guess you could say it's "fun" in the same way Applefags justifying blowing money on ios because "It fees more modern". It's only good if you intentionally try to not pay too much attention, which most people here did by riding the hype train instead of actually watching the show from an outside objective perspective and seeing what it actually amounted to when people weren't spamming all caps in streams and spazzing over shitty animation and trumpets.
