Have you not actually read Fate/Stay Night, or Tsukihime, or even Melty Blood? Type-Moon has done comic relief, and done it REALLY fucking well, for as long as they've been Type-Moon.

what? Nasu can't write comedy or SoL to save his life, Tsukihime didn't have much of it, and Fate's was terrible.
The jokes in KT weren't funny at all. and most of the jokes in MB were "we're turning this character into a joke so funny XD"
