fate/stay night is super interesting.
>muh butcher suffering.
Actually just better characters and more interesting themes then whatever Fate/stay night was supposed to be
I agree with your comment on hollow's heroine
>People read Fate for the porn
This isn't Prisma
People don't actually believe this do they?
Almost every good character in F/Z was written in F/SN and F/HA
Reminder not to be deceived by sunk cost VNfag primaries.
They made the decision long ago to gorge themselves on an inferior medium, knowing full well that a superior, high budget, high quality better medium version was in the works.
They traded quality for early access to content. And misery loves company, they will stop at nothing to trick newfriends into making the same mistake they did.
You should do the following, at the bare minimum
1. Watch Fate/Zero
2. Watch UBW (UFOTABLE)
3. Decide to wait out for the end of UBW, or if you really must and cannot contain your autism to win nerdbattles on /a/, you can play the VN
4. Ditto for the last, worst, wormroutes like HF.
There is zero reason to choose an objectively inferior, decade old eroge VN over a far superior, better artstyle, animated, version of it.
Additionally the other fate releases spoil Fate/Zero -- the best standalone release of the entire fate series. It is idioitic to complain about how it ruins a subpar route like HF, when reading HF/FSN spoils Fate/Zero.
Fate/Zero is one of the greatest selling anime of all time for good reason. And /a/ will never stop being butthurt over it.
Yeah, I don't want to be apart of this 'zomg fate wars everybody XDDDD' retard party
The Servants in F/SN weren't nearly as interesting in F/Z neither were the Masters outside of HF
don't even start, every character in Zero is a hollow stereotype excluding the four that transfer into Stay Night and the theme is "let's all wank the protagonists"
Urobochi got super lazy with everything that he was actually in charge of writing.
Stay Night might be crap but that doesn't make Zero look any better in comparison.
This. Not sure why people give Sakura shit all the time when Rin acually chose to be a whore.
Pictured: superior mature seinen manga for mature fans such as ourselves
She's just following her instincts
about making money. Via the pleasuring of old men.
>Actually just better characters and more interesting themes
Reminder that all HFfags are SakuraFags who realize they will always lose the WaifuWar and have resorted to proxy RouteWars, instead
All of their butthurt has been diverted from waifuism into "m-muh route"
Yes, the mature seinen series full of deep mature intellectually engaging content like all other seinen series like Fate/Zero
Fuck I think this untranslated dialogue is driving me insane. I know that Nvrnsqr/Issei's brother/whoever the fuck that is is saying something about going back, I just can't read the rest. I'll make a v2 once I get a translation.
Yes for starters.
There's also the unspoken false dichomoty of "has character, therefore is equivalent"
Kirei has more "text time"/"screen time" and a much bigger role in F/Z than F/SN. To say that they're equivalent when he has a smaller part in F/SN is not accurate
HF Saber > UBW Saber > F/Z Saber > Fate Saber
Cu Chullain > Deermud
EMIYA > F/Z Gilgamesh > F/SN Gilgamesh
F/Z Rider > F/SN Rider
Medea and Souchiro > Team Edge
Heracles > Lancelot
Fake Assassin > F/Z Assassin > True Assassin
Maybe, I don't particularly browse /a/ that often because it's the same shit every time. Sorry if I'm being apart of the issue you guys are having with the 'wow guys, this isn't nearly as cool as the other one!' trolling
I think I like F/z better because it has more focus. Not that Fsn doesn't have any interesting ideas however it was the first of its kind and i can't be too critical about it. it's not like he had years under his belt like he does now.
I do like Type-Moon but the original fate/stay night wasn't as good as people like to jerk off and make it sound.
1. Saber and Iri
2. Rin and Kirei
3. Waver, Rider and Taiga
Yes and better characters are ones who are better written, have multifaceted personalites that go beyond serving their purpose in story are original and relatable etc.
Zero scores zero on all counts save that Kiritsugu and Kotomine already have their character development outlined in SN so those two came free.
Berserker;s couple of moments of sanity are far better than Lancelot who only exists to make Saber suffer and to piss Gilgamesh off
>This is about F/Z having better characters
It really doesn't, the best characters were already written and developed in F/SN. There is pretty much 1 or 2 exceptions to this and those exceptions do not beat the entire F/SN cast
That isn't in the least bit true, especially considering people shitposting about HF being everything but Sakura's route all the time. Which is pretty petty and narrow-minded, but that is what this place usually is about characters they don't like.
I noticed you switched from Eclipse-style subs to UTW.
Thanks for subbing it.
Sakura is 1 year younger than Shirou and Rin, so depending on how you want to slice that, he should be around 16-17, which means Sakura is either 15-16.
Of course they're all 18™.
She is 15, the game takes place at the end of January, into February. Rin's birthday actually happens during the game on February 3rd. Sakura's birthday is the next month on March 2nd.
Huh. 2/3 and 3/2. I never noticed that. More sister dichotomy I take it.
If memory serves Sakura is a second year high-schooler, Shirou and Rin are third years, and they're edging towards graduation when Hollow Ataraxia rolls around.
Fate/Stay Night takes place early in the year, and I don't know if official birthdates ever got released, so it's probably safe to assume Shirou was 17 through the main plot.
Heaven's Feel was the only route where I gave the slightest shit about Saber
>can fight against non-jobbing Gil
There is no such thing as non-jobbing Gil
F/Z has more focus because it has less story, you can watch a 26 episode anime and more or less get whats going on.
F/SN needs you to read half the harry potter series, then read the whole thing over again once you get all the plot twists and have read up on all the philosophy and historical refrences.
You can say that the latter is less entertaining and enjoyable or looks ridiculous but it absolutely is better written.
I mean how many people get that Kuzuki is doing the same thing for virtue ethics as Kiritsugu is for utilitarianism? Zero has nothing equivalent going on. What you see on your first viewing is all there is to it.
Gil wasn't jobbing against Beserker
Or did you want him to fucking break out Ea on what was that, the second fucking day?
He repelled GoB twice
And then he beat him in the sky later
>Lancelot can fight against non-jobbing Gil
Sakura is a first year/Rin Shirou are second years, Hollow is six months later where Rin and Shirou are third years and Sakura is a second year taking over the archery club for Ayako, who is a third year.
Sakura is the youngest character in the game besides Leysritt and Sella, who are two years old.
>read up on all the philosophy
Stop being that pretentious
Oh come on now
Reminder It only counts as the Primary Material if you read it in Japanese, EOPrimaries.
If we're talking "can negate Gate of Babylon," original Lancer and Shirou did it better. He'd be just as fucked as anyone against Ea.
>indicative of character quality
Anyone can kill anyone if Nasu says they can.
These powerlevel shitflings are utterly pointless.
The more I look at it, the more I appreciate the Tsuki anime design-wise when compared to DEEN's Fate.
There's something about the way DEEN makes their characters look that rubs me the wrong way.
come on yourself, Cu croaking to what amounts to a geas, Sasaki getting challenged by a wooden sword etc.
It's not like this stuff is subtle you just don't notice it the first time through.
The only time Gilgamesh has gone all out was CCC or Hollow Ataraxia. He was entirely serious against Rider in Zero, but not exactly going all out. Against Lancelot he was never serious.
He can counter swordspam, until Gil just overwhelms him by opening the gate further and sending a hundred weapons at a time instead of a dozen.
Shirou, Archer and Cu are all superior counters in that regard and just like Lancelot none of them have any answer to Ea
Extra original is the Fate route of that series, it's rather plain but it sets up the story and elements for the later entries.
CCC is probably one of his best stories to date, but it's also one of the fucking strangest stories he's written to date. There definitely some times when he just had fun with shit.
There was nothing non-canon or anything remotely a fighting game mentioned there.
>Fate/Extra isn't canon
Oh god I'm choking
There's always that moment in any discussion of characters where someone brings up powerlevels as if it has any bearing at all on how good a character someone is. Why do you do this.
The actual non-canon fighting game is the best thing to come out of this series.
Assassin main reporting in
I have a question, asking here since it's not worth its own thread.
Did Saber's VA ever do Eroge/Hentai? I went through most of her roles in anime and couldn't see any hentai so I doubt that's the key, but I am not too sure about Eroge (voiced obviously).
I want to hear her moan so bad.
Shitposting aside, can we take a moment to talk about the best Fate series?
When the fuck is Chapter 26 coming out?
>What you see on your first viewing is all there is to it.
That's true. While F/SN is definitely the more interesting piece I wish they expanded on some of the characters like Kuzuki, Caster and Assassin and not keep all the attention of Archer, Shirou and Saber.
Unrelated but this new F/SN anime doesn't seem to good to watch for first time viewers. If I didn't know much from this series I'd be pretty confused.
What does it cost Gil to use Ea anyways? Like Saber is limited on how many times she can excaliblast due to her master, but it seems like Ea would be something that would cost a hell of a lot more than that and given that Gil runs off dead orphans in FSN (unless I'm mistaken) it seems like Gil being light on the Ea usage is pretty for reasons beyond just cockiness is pretty reasonable.
>fight against non-jobbing Gil
Because some things Nasu does are missed because the majority of fanbase thinks that stuff in a more humorous or fan disk setting isn't canon. Despite Unlimited Codes and Hollow having interesting lore information.
Hell, some people still think Imaginary Numbers is only good for using against spirits and Sakura has no potential when some guy showed some stuff Nasu wrote about a Hispanic magus who has that element and it has amazing capabilities. Like making a dimension where time has no meaning. Funny, since this was shown in HF several times.
I prefer the comedic and wacky side of Type-Moon rather than the plots and drama the writes come up with.
>What does it cost Gil to use Ea anyways?
It costs enough that he needs a contracted Master to be able to use it, it really helps that he has a high rank of Independent Action although.
It's a eroge.
Eh, Zero in a weird way kind of fills in the gaps not having Fate creates. You see Saber's character, and get a basic idea of the grail war.
It's not optimal at all, but that's pretty much all the Fate route has going for it. Except maybe showing off Shirou's projections more.
>Implying Nasu's eroscenes are not a masterpiece of literary greatness.
It is kind of funny how the five elements are like the most boring magic. You would think the average mage would spend more time working for intangible concepts or harder to understand concepts instead of things like crystal bullets or goals like the source.
Yeah, and this exists also right?
>muh adult characters therefore "adult themes"
That's pretty much a sumarry of F/Z kiddies argumentention.
Let's take a look at what it could be, supposed to be, and never will be
>a story about Emiya Kiritsugu
>have a more wide outlook on all masters showing us things in many ways
>a really dark story that show the tragedy of Emiya and drammatism because of different perspectives
What we really have
>so many masters around
>barely any of them is interesting character or would have enough devolopment since they where too busy offscreen or dying by anticlimax death
>you like to have some decent action? too bad enjoy more pointless dialogues
>look at the grimdarkness of Waver being feminine and Raidah being adorable friendly bear guy
>remember when you supposed to feel for those characters? oh wait nevermind they already dead
>remember how important Kariya and Matour storyline really is? me neither ENJOY MORE KAWAII WAVER!
>and don't forget KAWAII MASS MURDERER WHO KILLED KIDS, you know the one who wee somehow supposed to love because of how wacky he and Caster really is
I could go on but let's make a point more clear
BARELY ANY FUCKING CHARACTER GOT A FUCKING DEVOLOPMENT AND THE LEVEL OF HOW SILLYNESS AND EVERYTHING BEING FAR FROM ACTUALLY DRAMMATIC AND DARK.
And the fun part is, F/Z repeated so many things from F/SN they are not really different at all, exept over-the-top scenes, like those who involve EMIYA theme.
? First cour is done
of c ourse
damn those jews are crafty
damn those businessmen are smart
They realized they could get utterly destroyed in sales if they did a standard 2 cour so they split cour so they have 3 months of time to prep damage control
90% of the "concept" might come from Type-Moon, but that's very different from the execution. Urobuchi did not write the novels based on any fixed outline or even a summary of major events. Instead he created most of the actual story himself based on the rough boundaries of what the story would have to be about. Nasu acknowledges him as a very good writer, which is why they wanted him to do Fate/Zero in the first place. It would be pointless if all he contributed was rewriting something which already existed.
No one disputes that Nasu has very good ideas. He's an idea man. But his actual writing and execution for stories is pretty horrid. The way he develops characters and the dialogue he writes is generally pure trash. His scenarios are also bogged down with shitty crap which doesn't make the best use of the good general ideas.
This is why Fate/Zero is not considered purely a Type-Moon work. Because it is written by a writer who actually knows how to use the good ideas well, and craft a compelling story with good characters in it.
I'm telling you that F/Z carried that development far more effectively. I'm not saying that everybody in F/SN was a total stranger while Shirou pranced about in his bubble of main character development, I'm saying that F/Z's format allowed for a superior exploration of its cast and their inner workings.
The whole point of F/Z is how flawed Kiritsugu's methods are. The reason he doesn't care about the fact he summons an honourable Servant is that he doesn't care about the Servant herself, he simply sees Saber as a tool to be used. Also with regards to Kariya, he actually did try and seek out Tokiomi on his own when both Servants were engaged and look where that got him.
I have to say I have a complete opposite viewpoint to your own with regards to how the actions of each pairing was dealt with in both works. In F/SN ultimately the action of almost every Servant/Master combo save for some minor variation at notable times was "Find another Servant, fight until one of you dies, move on".
Compare this to F/Z, where you have Rider and Waver tracking down Caster's home and using a bit of gorilla warfare to weaken him; Kiritsugu doing Kiritsugu things and using the Servants as a distraction; Assassin being used for various deceiving tactics, if not the most useful ones, and various other tactics used throughout the series aside from "kill them till they die". And then you have Rider, Gil and Saber all sitting down for a chat, along with the various fights that were purely mage-versus mage, completely independent of their Servants. Not once was there a straight 1-on-1, or even 2-on-1 or 2-on-2, Servant fight without something to tip the scales going on in the background and it ultimately gives the feel of a more strategic "war" than F/SN.
The problem is that Zero has the same issues with some of its characters and doesn't have as much focus as some say.
Tokiomi is pretty much one dimensional magus nobility, and so is Kayneth. Kariya's motivations aren't expanded upon and the audience is left to just think he wanted Aoi's thick ass and that was it, which was overturned in Zero Material. Waver, Kiritsugu, and Kirei were the only characters not used primarily as vehicles for suffering.
Even the hyped Iskandar vs. Gilgamesh fight was underwhelming when you realize one never even got to touch the other one. It was flashy, and Urobuchi can do flashy, but lacked substance.
For FSN, Medea, Medusa, and Lancer got extensive extra stuff in Hollow, and it helped flesh even more for other characters, like Saber talking about her marriage to Guinevere. SoL or no, that "fandisk" did more to show the all sides to the characters than Zero ever did.
F/Z was meant to be a flashy homage to FSN, as said by Urobuchi in the writer notes. It bothered me though that so many characters were just used as vehicles for suffering, with much of their good backstory left out. It's an ensemble cast not used correctly.
>Urobuchi did not write the novels based on any fixed outline or even a summary of major events.
Nasu, king of excessive worldbuilding, definitely had none of the backstory planned out beforehand and none of the events in F/SN or F/HA were influenced by earlier events.
Shinji...I don't get why he gets all the hate on /a/. FSN is just written to make him out as the bad guy, when really he's no worse than any of the 'protagonists' and a better person than most of them.
What are the main complaints? He raped Sakura and stole Rider to use in the war?
Okay, let's get this straight. He never fucking raped Sakura. He never did it. He never did it. He never did it. He never did it. He fucked Sakura.
Let me ask you this. WHO IN THE GAME DIDN'T FUCK SAKURA? You can't even name one fucking character who hasn't plugged her loose cunt! She is the kind of bitch who will act like she doesn't want it when she really does. She'll say No! while having multiple orgasms. Shinji knew this, he's a fucking ladies man. He knows what filthy whores like Sakura want.
And there's this other big bitch you guys have with him. He supposedly stole Rider and used her in the war for his own greed.
Objection! He was worried about his one and only precious sister. Is keeping your loved ones from a brutal war so wrong? When Shirou does the same thing to Saber it's like 'oh he's so manly', but when Shinji does it it's wrong? He just wanted to protect Sakura. He probably was going to use his Holy Grail wish to tighten her cunt back up or cure her syphilis or something.
The story was written to make that faggot Shirou look good. Objectively, Shinji is a far better character than Shirou. At least he has the balls to take action decisively instead of dicking around like Shirou, and if he weren't stuck with the weak ass servant Rider and no plothax he probably would have won the war.
I agree with this post, what this guy said.
I'm curious why they didn't add anything from the Zero Material or expand on the characters in F/Z and kept it straight to the novel. They shot themselves in the foot there.
I hope they don't make the same mistake with F/SN. There's so much they can expand, elaborate and work with that they should be overwhelmed.
Wtf is being implied here? Shinji was about to rape Tohsaka?
Shinji "raping" Sakura is all her fault. She is the one that enabled him by not even attempting to stop him out of her so called pity for him. She essentially ends up murdering someone who she herself emotionally blackmailed in a twisted manner. She's also a whore.
>F/Z was meant to be a flashy homage to FSN, as said by Urobuchi in the writer notes. It bothered me though that so many characters were just used as vehicles for suffering, with much of their good backstory left out.
So read the fucking LN?
Or can VNfags not stand actual works of literature instead of CYOA Sex picturebooks?
It's painfully obvious for any TRUE TM FAN that fate/shit must be buried already. Fate/shit and its target audience of fate/kids are the worst tumors that happened to grow on TM virgin body that cannot create anything now, even Mahoyo was a PIECE of SHIT and BOMBED really hard.
And what is more hilarious - Type-SHIT is pretending like it never happened and preferred to completely FORGOT about their new VN by making another absolutely IDIOTIC fate/shit such as EXTRA/SHIT and APOCRYSHIT.
There is no doubt, NEO-TSUKIHIME remake will be absolutely terrible and stained by filthy hands of Takeshit and Nasushit who completely lost themselves in MILKING fate/shit for last 10 years.
Fuck you NEO-TM scum and fuck your shit taste that corrupted previously a good studio. If those idiots listened to TRUE TM FANS that MODERN SHIT would never happen.
Reminder they only left the H-scenes in the 2014 re-release because they could keep those braindamaged retarded otaku (PC VN) and their mainstream appeal (Anime, LN, etc).
This is a split fandom series, made by the greediest of jews who started with a shitty cheap ero-VN and then sold out and went normie mainstream as soon they possibly could.
They make Jakob and Daiz look like the best of goy.
Nasu is not only a hack but a sellout kike
You're probably only one who read F/Z in /a/.
Lancer is actively letting shinji rape, when it would be trivial and of no danger to himself to stop him -- therefore making him a rapist by proxy.
Just like it is illegal for you to allow a crime to go on that you can reasonably prevent with no risk to yourself.
There were things Nasu agreed with and praised him for, but equally things he had to what him across the head about because he was being too edgy. Like his original ending scene for Kariya and Sakura.
Urobuchi even admits in the author notes about his problems with cynicism, and that this story was a chance for him to not have to hold back that part of himself and it shows. A lot of characters were made that lacked agency besides the role they fit for the plot, like Sola, Iri, and Maiya, coincidentally all women.
Let's not even get into how that Rin episode showed how badly Tokiomi needed to be shown outside of this flat, magus noble who says he cares about his family, but you barely see any evidence about it aside from one quick scene, to the point he is used as a clueless dandy oji-san in any extra material he is in. Most of the good stuff is in the drama CDs and even then that was only showing further that Aoi and Tokiomi are clueless parents.
Ilya is Fate Shirou, Kuro is UBW Shirou, Miyu is Heaven's Feel Shirou
>Trying to save everyone and and trying to save who you care about the most are both admirable
It is literally the entire point of the VN
>Five great elements:Earth
One of the two alignments of Kiritsugu. Kiritsugu exhibited his attribute of combining and used magic which combined the wounds of an enemy in a different form than normal, and made them unhealable.
>Five great elements:Water
The alignment that the Matou magi have had for generations. Matou exhibit the attribute of absorption and have passed it on. Sakura's alignment changed from Emptiness to water.
>Five great elements:Fire
The alignment of Tokiomi and also one of the two alignments of Kiritsugu. It is the symbol of life and death and has good chemistry with destructive magic.
>Five great elements:Wind
>One of the two alignments of Kayneth Elmelloi Archibold. There are few magi with wind as an alignment
>Five great elements:Sky
An element which makes up celestial bodies that is newly added as a fifth element to the four great elements of earth, water, fire, and wind. This is, in other words, Ether.
You think too narrowly.
There are "mythical" connotations behind each element as well.
If I remember correctly Rin's alignment can be translated as omnipotence
I'm pretty sure the scene where he died showed that he had exhausted all her patience with his behavior. You could say she enabled him, but it was also said that she told him to stop the first few times and he was the one that blackmailed her by saying she should make it up to him pretty much every time, or threatening to reveal everything to Shirou.
Not to mention 90% if the problem was that he was a shitty older brother that made himself feel better with delusions of grandeur. How you can see what happens to Sakura and then actually be mad that you aren't in the same boat is mind-boggling.
Could anybody post the Read/Expected/Got of Heavens Feel? Thanks.
Posting some Dirty Red in compensation.
Ufotable understands that she's best girl, and as such have whittled the other girls down to the bare minimum.
>Murders Medea because she's a huge cunt
>a huge cunt
Woah, woah. Easy, easy. Just settle down.
I bet none of you fags even like the Nasuverse and just like the shitty Fateverse.
But that's not true the Tsukihime
Mangais my favorite part of nasuverse.
I bet you haven't even read Mahoyo, DDD and Notes.
Obviously, the entire 'murder' thing with Ryougi is an extended metaphor for repressed sexuality as a result of growing up in a very prudish, traditional family. In MSP1, Shiki/SHIKI manifests a tatemae/honne dichotomy so extreme as to come across as different personalities entirely. Caught in the conflict between the expectations placed on her behaviour and her growing-to-be-overwhelming attraction to Kokutou, she eventually has a psychotic break and tries to rape him.
Fortunately, 'Shiki', who embodies the values she's had beaten into her since childhood, wrests control and immediately tries to commit suicide out of shame. The entire rest of the story is an internal conflict centered around sex addiction. MEoDP are a metaphor for constant intrusive thoughts of a sexual nature (I had a joke about Mystic Eyes of 'D' Perception, but I've got more class than that, don't I?) The conflict is between the traditional values espoused by her grandfather ('you can only kill one person in your life' can here be interpreted as 'monogamy 4 lyfe, otherwise you're a useless whore') and her own desire to slut it up as much as possible. The latter manifests through her persistent attempts to lose her virginity to a string of casual, self-destructive relationships with:
>A runaway street kid she just met one night
>A much older guy who's into some kinky bondage shit and only wants her for her body
>and some loser drug dealer she once knew from school.
Eventually, however, with Kokutou's support she's able to overcome her addiction in order to be the pure waifu she knew she always had it in her to be. tl;dr - murder is sex, Ryougi is a repressed nympho, and Kara no Kyoukai is a paean to traditional Japanese gender roles.
Search your feelings, you know this to be true.
Can't wait for Ufo to adapt this scene. The OST will be missed tho
I can't wait to literally cry at this scene, I always tear up when I read it.
Enjou was the only good character in KnK.
He had worth in my heart, then /a/ devoured it.
I did, and it's better at showing some points about the characters, but as I said, nothing comes of it.
Gil and Iskandar are hyped up to the limit, but their actual confrontation makes Alex pretty much ineffectual. It's flash, but little in the way of substance. The only part that was really satisfying was the ending scene with Waver, which culminated the bond he had with Alex.
Another anon pointed out the point I made about Tokiomi with his family better than I could. He was made to foster development for Kirei's fall, but little else. I couldn't feel his dilemma as a father because he literally said, "I didn't prepare for a another daughter when I really shouldn't have, and rolled the dice on her life and shuffled in place on what to do with her until someone bailed me out instead of taking action".
It lost a lot of the impact of his decision, when he seems to not have cared about it too much to go out of his way to find a solution himself. Especially when he claims that a child without a crest are stolen away and put into formaldehyde by the Association as experiments if their powers are too great. He looked like a bumbling fool, but somehow Kariya gets all the flack.
This is only the tip of the iceberg of characters who were ultimately just plot devices, despite rather interesting concepts.
You could learn not to make assumptions about people not reading.
>we're going back to our roots, guys. trust us ;)
I sincerely respect everyones comments ,but i trully prefere the original route in which shirou and saber fall in love with each other, and that last episode almost make me cry when she disappears right after she said i love you to shirou. SHIROU AND SABER MAKE A WEIGHT BETTER COUPLE THEM RIN AND SHIROU, BECAUSE THEY PROTECTED EACH OTHER AND THE STORY IS MORE INTERESTHING.JUST TO THINK THAT THE HOLY GRAIL BATTLE DRAG A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN FROM THE PAST AND BRING HER TO THE PRESENT TO FIGHT NEXT TO A NOVICE MASTER FOR THE SAKE OF THE WORLD ,MEANWHILE THEY FALL IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER AND AT THE END SHE DISAPPEARS RIGHT AFTER CONFESING HER LOVE TO HIM,"HITS ME DEEP IN MY HEART AND LEAVE WITH A STRONG SENSATION, WISHING THAT THEY SHOULD OF HAVE END UP TOGETHER "
Now you made me copy it here for everyone to read.
Considering the scene where that is mentioned had Rin tutoring Shirou on how to make the medicine, which I am sure Rin mentioned in vanilla FSN(how magi develop resistance to the crest through the generations). It's pretty natural that Rin, who by canon is Shirou's magic tutor, would give him such an assignment.
And please, enough of the "fanfic". There were guest writers, but people don't even know which ones those were besides Meteor and which were Nasu's and use it as an excuse to argue character personalities. Rin's scenes in particular are contested, even when it's pretty much fact that Rin has a hot temper at times.

I identify FSN with this music..
Dude, a least three of her interludes are "the great devil gets really angry", and can't just ask someone to meet her for lunch regular and resorts to shooting erasers to get their attention.
Just face it, she has her mature points, but she does have a temper and has silly moments too. Her sweeping Shirou out of embarrassment/vexation is hardly out of character.
IircOn paper the characters in the loop are "copies" of the real ones (including Avenger/Shirou in non-plot relevant scenes), so while the happenings won't have any consequence their behavior is the "right" one.
The problem is that HA is mostly made of guest writers-made poorly SoL scenes, which kind of defeats the point. See Rin being handled like your token bipolar violent tsundere depending on who's writing.
But that doesn't mean that all of HA is to be dismissed as Avenger wanking, at least when comes to (hypotetical) characters interactions.
Shirou never happened to ask Ilya the caste dining room for a dinner with Sakura in the real world, but if he actually did then Ilya would probably act just as her loop counterpart.
At least that's what i got out of her explanation of the "neverending 4--day long Heaven's Feel" in oue of the few plot-relevant HA scenes.
This revelation is kind of cool with how it ties into Shirou's abilities (imitations)... I don't like that he apparently doesn't have survivor's guilt, though. He could have both admired Kiritsugu and been driven by guilt.
Anyone know what the official text font that was used for the official release of the Tsukihime manga was?
oops wrong pic
The survivor's guilt just doesn't have anything to do with his ideals
When I first got into F/SN I was expecting Caster to be the last Servant we would defeat, only to find the Golden King.
It would have been interesting if Caster had a small plot for -Fate- that wasn't lifted from UBW.
>compelling story with good characters in it
If they wanted that they would have gotten an actual novelist and not a VN writer from Nitro+. But nope, gotta get those chuunibux.
So how are Avalon's regenerative capabilities still working without the Saber contract?
>reading prisma just to see shirou power up and do stuff
Shirou's just there to be his typical lovably dense self.
Have you actually read something on the level of a Heinlein novel, to set the bar at a middle point?
Name me something of true literary merit that came from japan.
you cant, Goethe was the greatest writer who ever lived, and he was from Germany. And died nearly 2 centuries ago.
>Implying Fluffy Shirou =! Miyu Shirou

Wind up Bird Chronicle
There's another one that's bigger with multiple images. Anybody has that weg?
Fluffy Shirou is much more cuddly. And isn't dying of sword-cancer.
Tohsaka is whore. Go with pious Christian knight waifu.
>CCC is fanservice shit.
>not worth it
In yesterday's thread got people telling me it was HF equivalent of F/SN while F/E was like Fate.
Getting some conflicting messages here.
It's all because i'm not that keen on bother with F/E to begin with, but it being a stand-alone thing rather than only a weak entry to a great sequel that will never be translated would surely play a role.
he didn't move because of JnJ
Thanks to translator anon and the other guys that helped with Issei's brother's dialogue. Fuck this captcha.
Avalon gives a heal when it's not bounded by a contract with Saber (Kiritsugu saved Shirou's life with Avalon) but in UBW Shirou's wound made by Saber take more time to heal because he don't have a contract with Saber because
she got Rule Breaker'd.
>You know I'm always watching over you, Shirou.
Man, anything between Kiritsugu and Shirou destroys me.
Avalon was irrelevant. It was working, but narratively speaking it didn't really matter. Shirou won because Archer saw him and remembered the beauty of heroism, causing him to hesitate.
It's a pretty classic case of willpower = power, really. Probably the one place you'll see it in Nasu.
>Probably the one place you'll see it in Nasu.
Second half of UBW as whole was pretty much Shirou not giving a fuck and charging in whatever was happening headfirst and getting through with willpower-based projections.
>have it sent by post and college courier
what did he have to do, buy a private plane and fly there?
Who could have seen the exploding building coming? It's such an unnatural thing, especially for a magus
>can't be him being good
more like can't be him having hax
She already has a sibling, Luvia isn't her sister.
Ilya needs to have violent incestuous lust for her brother, though.
It's a key aspect of her character.
>what did he have to do, buy a private plane and fly there?
Considering he's rich, sure, why not? Anything would've been better than what he used.
>Who could have seen the exploding building coming? It's such an unnatural thing, especially for a magus
Kiritsugu actually got everyone else out of the building first. That should be a sign that the guy was trying something unorthodox. Even if he didn't see it coming, he should've planned beyond "stay inside and hope he tries to do the simple straightforward thing".
That reminds me how pissed I was over Saber and Lancer getting all pissy at Kiritsugu for trying to kill him when he invaded the mansion.
Fuck you shitty ass servants this fucking faggot broke the ceasefire and attacked him first.
>That should be a sign that the guy was trying something unorthodox
Actually judging from Kayneth's reaction, it implied a very orthodox approach (magi depopulate the area with a bit of hypnosis and bounded fields before dueling each other).
Fate/Zero is WAY below Fate/Stay Night in all senses, shitty characters, shitty graphics, cunt worshiping smeared on your face, trans-gender feminazi history (Saber is fuckable so I don't care though) You must be trap in the past to think that Zero is better
What kind of fanservice can we expect from Sakura once the Heaven Feel adaptation rolls out? Going by UBW, Illya is already a given.
God, I hope not. He can't direct action for anything.
We've already had 3 one hour episodes of Unlimited Blade Works and 8 Kara no Kyoukai movies. It's not impossible.
So long as they have MAPO TOFU all else is irrelevant.
I think Takeuchi kept forgetting it was supposed to be a switchblade.
RIN IS SHIT SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT
Sakura best girl
>I mean, her body can't even develop secondary sexual characteristics because of all the modifications made to her
>b'aaaaaawww Iri I can't love you what's the point of loving a woman I'll have to kill to achieve my ideals
>then we'll have a child and she can be your reason to live after I die
>proceed to let Acht make a thousand modifications to her and shorten her lifespan to fucking nothing
What the fuck Iri?
How would Tohsaka feel knowing that his daughter was able to achieve the 2nd Magic?
