>Kuroko S3

Will we ever get a non-fujo sport anime again?

Is this genre condemned?

That's like asking of neckbeards not to see the yuri in an all-girls cast show.
>>
>>119266578
Has there ever been a non-fujo sports anime before?
>>
>>119266578
Haikyuu is great, stop being such a faggot and enjoy it.
>>
What was the last one? Ro-kyu-bu?
>>
But the Haikyuu are loves

Baby Steps

Ro-Kyu-Bu is the best sports anime.
>>
Is there anything really that gay about them besides the characters being attractive?

There is one airing right now...
>>
Would fujos be all over Slam Dunk if it aired today?
>>
Haikyuu is actually pretty good.
Also, there's still Diamond no Ace, though it's shit.
>>
>>119270014
They already did it when it first aired in Japan.
And it pissed off the author.
>>
>>119266578
I'm more triggered by the fact that Gay DB basket has no actual basketball in it. At least the production values are nice.
>>
>>119270228
Inoue should stop drawing such ridiculously attractive boys if he doesn't want fujos enjoying them. And make Hanamichi less lovable.
>>
>>119266578
I haven't seen anything gay in both.
Excluding that one bathing episode in Kuroko S2, there was 0 fanservice.

Although KnB is meh to say the least, I'll enjoy both, thanks.
>>
>>119266877
Baby Steps. And it was great, but no one watched it because: I don't know.
>>
>>119270459
There doesn't have to be fanservice in order for it to appeal to fujos.
>>
>>119270498
Pierrot could have been a reason.
>>
>>119266578
Authors of these two series didn't mean to make them fujoshits, just sportshit with good looking characters. Then fujos made them fujoshits.
If you don't hold the stereotypes of a fujo then they are completely fine sports anime.
>>
>>119266578
>Haikyuu S2
It will have less good animation and more fujo pandering, just like Kuroko S2 was.

Also reminder that CR will attribute the same S1 translator for S2
>>
>>119270559
That fucking creepy audience during every match.
>>
>>119266578
>I haven't watched Ping Pong
>>
>>119270541
What defines a fujo show then? Aside from actual bl, Free is the only one I could 100% consider fujo.

The rest are just normal shows with big casts of boys that girls can fap to and ship with each other. That applies to plenty of shounen too, even though it's an entirely different demographic.
>>
>>119270559
Dropped it around episode 5
I watched it for the sport, but instead, I got useless drama romance
>>
>>119270678
Fujos love it when it's subtle and not fullblown unlike otakus because it triggers their female hormones. Basic female psychology.
>>
>>119270541
Of course, like 99% of the fujothing are just fantasies from fujos. If you're not a fujo or gay yourself than they are nothing more but sport shows.
>>
>>119270541
There doesn't have to be fanservice in order for it to be gay.
>>
>>119266578
>Is this genre condemned?
No. It's saved.
>>
>>119270228
Did Inoue have any specific comments on it? Is there an interview or something where he's directly asked about fujoshits?
>>
>>119270678
The premise of the show is something grounded in reality, like social interactions and sports. Bishonens, shit like Tiger Mask bara men and Ping Pong realistic men repels the fujos. Alternatively, traps, very feminine traps, without interactions. Boku no Pico isn't nearly as popular with women as say, Shonen Maid Kuro-kun, because the relationship is between the trap and a very average looking man rather than a trap x bishonen.
>>
nigga Haikyuu is great.
It doesn't have anything gay unless you have fujo googles.
>>
>>119270678
Pretty boys doing socially acceptable things with a dash of forced drama. That's the ideal fujoshi show, and pretty much defines all sports and shoujo anime.

Is it drawn even remotely in the original style? No, it had to be redrawn completely into bishonen shit to be appealing. I can take Berserker Hercules and Alex Louis Armstrong ake them into cute shota traps, that doesn't mean the shota audience is attracted to them.

>Japan accepted mahjong before World War II. After the war, many professional organizations were established there and a large market developed. However, mahjong had a bad image in Japan too, because it had been developed as a gambling game. For this reason, mahjong came close to being made illegal. Some mahjong players started a movement to change its image in the 1980s, and they changed the rules and established the Japan Kenko Mahjong Association in 1988. Kenko means "health" in Japanese. Their motto was "No Gambling, No Drinking, No Smoking". They organized a "Healthy Mahjong" competition in Tokyo in 1995. With that as a start, they also promoted competitions, on a scale of a hundred competitors, around China, including Beijing. They also put pressure on the Chinese sports authorities to recognise mahjong as a sport.

It is a sport.

Chess is a sport, too.
