P sure when Orihime first got her powers and did that training with Yoruichi she said something about Orihime's power level being tied to her resolve to use the powers, which is why she's typically weak as fuck offense wise except against the rape hollow the first time and why she sometimes becomes shit at healing, like when Ichigo wanted to be healed to fight Grimmjow and Ulquiorra
