Let's have a Shiki thread.
Would you let Shiki kill you?
They're just a bunch of assholes who think they're invincible
Then dissidents like that fucking priest stab every single one of their friends in the back just because he wants to do the no pants dance with an undead loli
Ragebeard did nothing wrong, and didn't deserve to die the way he did
No, I think she should get back to work though. This Garen-no-Dou isn't going to clean itself.
I enjoyed all the movies with Mujun Rasen being my favorite.
I will watch Mirai Fukuin and the Extra Chorus on New Year's Eve
Somebody already tried that. It didn't work.
Nice. I'm also planning on watching the new year's segment then.
I'd also really like for it to snow this winter so I can go and find a nice orange streetlight with a view of the city.
Tell me about it.
>born into an alright family
>good at sports, had a girlfriend, ideal niwaka
>dad kills someone in a traffic accident
>gets dragged all over the country by his dad's pride
>dad turns abusive, beats the shit out of his mom
>forced to work to support his family
>gets fucking murdered by his psycho mom
>puppet built of him to take part in Araya's fucked up experiment
>gets killed by his mom over and over
>when he finally breaks out and falls in love with a girl, she's already taken
>learns even his escape was planned by Araya
>starts literally falling apart, realizes he's a puppet
>gets crunched by Araya
Is there any character who can outdo his suffering?
Of course a fake can never be as good as the original.
>doing anything for Touko other than killing shit
She's not incredibly prideful for nothing. Kokutou's the housework bitch.
But if it was a perfect fake, made in a way that no one could tell which was which, would it not be just as good as the original?
have this, anon
It's a fake. By its very nature, it's a lie, a crime. Even if it is indistinguishable, the real is better than the imposter. Pretending to be something that you're not is an affront to what you are
Because Mikiya has the sex drive of a wet dishtowel.
But Enjou was proto-Shirou. Which is more fake, a puppet copy of Enjou or Shirou himself?
I can never decide whether cat-Shiki or bunny-Shiki is more apt. The novels make a good case for both, really. Shiki's flightiness and aversion to affection and contact is fairly rabbit-like, but you can see the cat in her pride, slothfulness, aloofness and grudgingly acknowledged desire to be loved.
I miss them
But if they truly are indistinguishable, how could you tell which is which? If it's a fake, it doesn't have the same purpose as the real one. It's only purpose is to be akin to the real one, and in doing that, would it not be real as well? If its only purpose is to be real, than it is possible for it to be more "real" than the original, and therefore have a greater value.
Damn, I need to get more Shiki pictures.
Nothing really indicates that they don't. Shiki was always resistant to public displays of affection and it seems unlikely that becoming the head of a yakuza family would soften her up.
I'm sure they have their tender moments.
It's a shame there's not more art of her. At least there's some really nice stuff from the artbooks and promotional posters.
I had one poster printed because I couldn't find an original anywhere.
But isn't that what she asked him for?
This flew over my head way back when I watched the movies because I didn't realize at the time just how big of a deal it was in Japan for a young man and woman to share a room.
She basically did the japanese equivalent to inviting him in for coffee and he did nothing
Despite all the shit she has to deal with, Kokutou and Shiki make a cute couple.
Yeah. Also think about the whole dynamic with the key sharing in light of Japanese social norms.
Why is Shiki so much better than Shiki?
Is it the sex appeal?
Of course he wouldn't, boy Shiki is best Shiki.
Mirai Fukuin BD special. It's one of three shorts, got subbed by UTW a few weeks ago although a rudimentary subjob had been around for months.
Enjoy. The first segment is particularly adorable.
Taboo origin is suffering.
>tfw Shirou actually does start blushing with Ilya
Reminder that Seibah is canonically judged a better imouto than Ilya.
>Murder Suicide Fetishes
Only one of the many things Shiki is excellent for
That image looks kind of degraded
I'm glad we folk understand one another
The fact of whether its real or not is irrelevant. All that really matters is how much worth it has to me. It's not that they're of equal value, it's that they're all equally worthless.
Either is fine, really. They're both pretty good: the novels have some characterization the films leave out but the films are pretty beautiful and have great cinematography, especially the fifth.
One thing to consider is that the sixth chapter is butchered by the film adaptation so if you read the novel beforehand you might end up being fairly upset about it.
>Azaka somehow gets Mikiya to love her
>They end up in bed
>She's hyped as fuck
>She sees his dick
>Azaka somehow gets Mikiya to love her
>They end up in bed
>Mikiya goes to sleep
That's a great image, one of my favorite. I've also always really liked this one.
I don't get any hipster points since my favorite was definitely 5.
Consider the following:
5>Extra Chorus>3=1>Mirai Fukuin=7>6>2=4
When Mikiy compared her to a rabbit I remember thinking to myself she was more like a cat.
There sure is a lot of bunny art of her, though
While I enjoy ever entry, for me its
3>5=Extra Chorus>Mirai Fukuin=7>2=1>6=4
I've always liked straight, natural hair regardless of the length, so Shiki is perfect.
>MFW I associate with Notshirou
>I love Shiki
>It would be fated to fail between us
Life is pain. It's like the writers know.
Don't despair anon, I'm sure somewhere in the multiverse it ends up working out.
