why does no one talk about this? or even the manga? it's comfy as fuck
It's because it's the mainstream thing to do. People are butthurt about the author introducing power levels in the manga.
There are discussions about it every time an episode comes out though
The anime got licensed by Netflix, thus no HS, so all we have is few-days-late fansub (thanks Chyuu) but people are impatient fucks so a lot of them didn't even pick it up.
Manga is on hiatus for this week iirc.
Also >>118709380 this, but it's early to tell how much of impact it will have on the future handling of the manga.
>After the powerlevel chapter every discussion turns to shit.
>Taking an obvious gag and assuming it's going to be a serious plot device.
Sure thing buddy.
Not his fault you're illiterate.
Anyway, Spoilers for new chapter are out too for those that are interested.
FUCK. Why did I open that picture?
Well, at least this means Nakaba is planning on resolving the loose ends from the Liones arc. I think we all knew that Dreyfus and his story wasn't over with, especially with the whole thing with Gowther.
Nope.It's from Mangakansou.
There's no context for the picture. I'm not saying it's not him, but it's probably not the personality that we've come to know.
This is obviously a flashback. Almost certainly the reason why Hendricksen became evil.
To which one? It being a flashback? If so, I'm not really sure what Nakaba is planning on doing with Hendricksen now that he lost. I suppose we should just wait until the chapter is out to make any judgments.
I KNEW IT
It pretty much has to be. Hendricksen's body was completely destroyed.
8.5 / 10 best Sawano OST since GC, the flute and the celtic influence are very nice, but some tracks are way too Unicornesque, despite being very good. And I don't like when a track is just incoherent noise (demigod if I remember right.)
From what I've read on MH,
this Dreyfus might be the one that caught Gowther by surprise, has now revived Hendy with his blood and are on their way to revive the demon clan. Also, Dreyfus' slip was not an accident, the fucker wanted Elizabeth's blood one way or another.
Nakaba likes them old school shonen and jrpg. Chrono Trigger is among them.
Fucking hell, the the part about blood was so goddamn predictable and i never saw any speculations about this in nnt threads.
Also judging by the spoiler pic he has the tattoo alike the one Mel has, but still way less complex. I guess it really shows the rank of the demon or something.
Now that we know that Dreyfus is alive and possibly in demon mode, how hard he will fuck up this time? End up destroying whole Camelot? Will accidentally restore the goddess clan back to their physical form instead of unsealing demons? Kill his own son accidentally?
Yes, i remember it. But still it's hilarious that we overlooked the connection between the fact that they require her blood and his slipping.
He fooled everyone in the kingdom, used his best friend as a bait to steal the seal and even got blood of Liz without much of a trouble.
I'm really glad that he's alive because he was behind the most hilarious and entertaining moments of the arc
Because it's good.
Since when was the last good anime where evil bitches get their asses handed to them (as oppose to them femdoming every guy) and sorta-helpless princesses get turned into bro-tier supporters?
Is it possible the Dreyfus we know wasn't quite aware he was doing all that shit? As far as he knew, those really were just accidents. Also, I wonder if it's a split personality deal like Haise/Kaneki.
Camelot arc, fairy kindom arc, possibly the adventures of the knight trio too, and all going simultaneously.
Really hope that this huge arc will end up with shit really going down and Mel fulfilling the prophecy about the great hole in the land in his buttmad mode.
So many different things happening at the same time. At least, I know Nakaba's capable of ending all these different situations satisfactorily, if KB's anything to go off on.
It's possibly something more subtle than a simple second personality. He was probably possessed by the demon of desire or something like that and started trying to clear the path for supremacy, not understanding that he does this under the slight influence of a demon.
Judging by design of Mel's mark and his abilities he comes from a bloodline of a really powerful demons. I mean, he can nullify the regeneration of immortals, and both red and gray demons were unable to do it.
So yeah, his father is probably the demon lord of sorts, who was possibly betrayed by the goddess clan and was consumed by his anger.
It's still really good, even if you aren't. The character interactions are top-notch, the foreshadowing and worldbuilding are fairly complex, and the humor is pretty good. It doesn't focus on the action when it doesn't need to, but it's still an extremely enjoyable and satisfying weekly read.
>all that carefully orchestrated spaghetti
Dreyfus and Hendy, the keikaku kyodai
>inb4 he will say this to his son again, this time when he will fight against him
>inb4 he will overcome the demonic posession in last second and allow himself to be killed by Griamor
its not even THAT rushed, its actually fairly accurate, but thats the problem, shit in manga happens so fast you have to extend fights or else they are all over in like 10 second.
Except that the series doesn't rely on danger or suspense to be interesting. Not all series need to. It's grounded in character interactions, humor, over-the-top action, mystery, and emotional backstories.
That new episode was pretty tops. Love it when they use religious/holy music properly. That ending was so hype.
Also does anyone know what the usual schedule on the manga is? It seems to be pretty all over the place to me since the beginning.
>I WANT TO FUCK KING
Shota King? Plebian.
>Wanting to fuck worst king
See? This guy knows what's up.
This definitely must be a flashback, for one thing
Hendy's clothes are back.
I'm still going to call Dreyfus Spagetti Knight even if it was all planned, his supposed fuck ups was are too hilarious.
Best knight coming through.
>Hendricksen really did nothing wrong.
What are the estimates on Mel's age? 150 at the lowest?
They want to get through Liones. Which is a really stupid decision, since they should have just aimed for finishing Byzel for the first two cours, so that they could continue with Liones soon after. But I guess since the anime is just an advertisement for the manga, no one cares.
Helbram said he had been killing humans for 500 years, putting King's arrest at 200 years ago max.
There's also a page where someone (one of the villains) mentions all that happening 150 years ago, but for the life of me I can't remember who or where.
>Helbram said he had been killing humans for 500 years
Reread Kings backstory m8.
shortly after he met Diane, she got sick, and got helped by that hunter guy, a day or so before the village got burnt down, they went back there to talk to the hunter guy, and found his grandson, who was old enough to have kids of his own.
It was 100 years. they even say it was around 100 years.
Then what the hell is Helbram talking about in that page? He wasn't killing humans before he left the forest.
100 years is merely the time between meeting that human and his grandson; we don't have a number for how many years King and Diane were hanging out before that.
Why did /a/ tell me Demon Meliodas was underwhelming before subs came out?
Just when I thought they couldn't top themselves.
Literally couldn't even get through the rest of the chapter.
>PIPING PORK CHOPS!
BWHAHAA! Holy fuck!
Maybe they just really don't like Jag.
>Gowthere instead of Gowther
I think Hendrickson is actually the official spelling since that's what the licensed relaeses have, but they also have Howzer instead of Hauser so fuck them.
Welp, I actually thought the Liones arc was complete, but it looks like with this chapter that it was all only just the beginning.
I'm kinda glad Hendricksen and Dreyfus are not dead. I really like their designs, and I felt like there was a lot more that could be done with them. The revelation that everything that happened in the fight was all a part of their ruse was actually pretty cool.
This, seriously. I never got any gay subtext between Hendricksen and Dreyfus before, except for maybe the moment before Hendricksen goes gray.
But this chapter, hot damn. Even Gray Hendricksen was crying over him.
No, this whole ruse bullshit undermines their character in order to amplify their roles as villains. Pretty much the author shows us a couple of chapters with no big hint or foreshadowing that this was going to happen.
We get a couple of chapters showing how Dreyfus is corrupted by temptation but not pure evil where he tried to make amends before dying. Now he just straight up revives for some fucking reason after his body melts in his accomplice's hands (who has no fucking clue that he's still alive) plus it was all according to keikaku.
So in short, author just pulled a Aizen on us. Asspull.
>Dryfus studying Mel's demon symbol in that book.
>Mysterious shadow being in his mind when Gowther invades it
>After seemingly, dying a wired black bird monster is seen rising from Merlin's old castle where Dryfus died, and when no one else was arond.
Pretty much everyone had guessed awhile back Dryfus was alive as the demon bird monster, and had done some demon shit beforehand, which is why he was possessed in the first place.
>series already has a solid scanlating group
>niggastream still picks it up
God dammit. First Toriko, now Seven Deadly Sins. Why can't they pick up a series like Shokugeki no Soma, which is somewhat popular but has a slow as hell group.
>This poor anon has no imagination
>>Pretty much everyone had guessed awhile back Dryfus was alive as the demon bird monster, and had done some demon shit beforehand, which is why he was possessed in the first place.
That's pretty much wrong since the bird thing turned out to be Hendy's arm.
>That's pretty much wrong since the bird thing turned out to be Hendy's arm.
I never said Dryfus was the bird in actuality, I only said the bird gave suspicion that dryfus was alive.
to skip his arc so they can get stright to the kindgom infiltration arc.
Gowther is likely going to show up either next episode, after Diane goes all creation with her warhammer.
Sucks for you. Personally, after reading Ban and King's flashbacks, I felt really attached to them. Also Guila's. I mean, it's shounen, how deep is it really going to get? It's great for what it is. Also, there's a lot to be discussed. As this chapter demonstrates, there's a shit ton of foreshadowing buried in numerous chapters. Not to mention the deep connection to actual Arthurian mythos.
I just watched the recent episode, and why is Elizabeth so fucking retarded? Why wouldn't she just try and explain it to her sister?
I understand that she might not listen but at least fucking try instead of running away like a retard and saying you hate her.
I'm just not interested in European folklores and myths. Not really, I have frequent your threads for quite a time and I haven't seen anything noteworthy. The theme is pretty generic and childish to me but it's a shounen so I can't expect more. It's average, but not the best.
Shounen is something to read for fun since the appropriate age intended is not for me anymore.
People grow up.
Since evil Dreyfus has only kind of appeared in the mental battle versus Gowther, and now he doesn't even seem to physically appear (Hendricksen could only see him in a dream, and doesn't seem to be able notice being observed by Hendy), it seems like evil Dreyfus is some sort of ghost/parasite. His real body probably died for real.
I'm really fucking glad that he is still alive.
Cool as fuck power.
Will possibly look absolutely brutal in demon form.
Hope that he will get a great battle against Mel at some point. Both of them are great swordsmans after all.
And the design of his tattoo is still less complex than the one of Meliodas.
Shit went down so fast, it's insane. Nakaba probably has something far more creepier than just the release of demon clan for later arcs if he just gave Hendy the ability to do so right now.
Camelot is fucked, it seems.
This is pretty much generic shonen, but it kind of isn't.
>it's comfy as fuck
I can agree with that.
I haven't read the manga, but after this many episodes I went back and start the manga, and up to the point it's at right now in the anime it's pretty spot on.
It's not a bad series by any means. I wouldn't say it's treading any original ground or doing anything especially interesting or unique, but it's sticking to the basics and doing them reasonably well without trying to get fancy.
Hendy: a simple small black line.
Dreyfus: long black line that curves at the end.
Meliodas: full demon clan sign.
I'm still amused by the amount of little details and foreshadowing Nakaba puts into the manga.
I get the feeling that in the end he will overcome the demonic influence and will try to correct his mistakes.
Being Hendy is suffering, he's just a tool of Dreyfus who probably never even though about him as a friend.
Greatest thing of all is still Gil's staged fight with Mel in the Forest.
>Gil: I'm gonna kill you.
>Mel: Right back at you.
>Gil striking Mel on his right back from behind.
>Gil: Do you know why we're after your heads? Some say it's to purge the traitorous Knights that overthrew the Kingdom.Others says it's to prove our strength.
>Mel: Which one are you?
>Gil talking about surpassing a Great Holy Knight
>Mentions his code
>Mel: That might be true, but you don't know that for sure.
>Gil frees Mel from the spell.
>Mel and Diane break free themselves.
>Mel: If I wanted to, I could have broken out whenver I wanted to.
>Gil: If I wanted to I could wipe you out along with the entire Forest.
>Mel acting cheeky: Nah, that's impossible.
It was all fucking code between them.Exchanging words with underlying meanings.
Same goes with Gilthunder Sword in that village.
Mel is visiting that Village from time to time.He was there to gather info.
By chance Gilthunder was there and during battle later, he told Mel the Location of King and Ban.
That was after the "I kill you" moment, when Mel faked his defeat and made it appear he tricked Gil.
I find that had to believe
please don't hate me, but where do you people download manga from nowadays?
Lurk died years ago, and mangatraders died recently as well, so I am out of the loop.
Reading online is just fucking awful, and going through redhawk forums to get the links(and many are down by the way) is just fucking awful as well.
Believe me, I am not some lazy faggot, I did search for it, but couldn't find anything even remotely as reliable as lurk or mangatraders.
Redhawk's raw cleaning is fucking trash from what I remember, they used to destroy a bunch of details of the pages, it looks a lot like niggerstream in that regard.
And this shitty style of cleaning seems to be spreading even further it seems.
>mangatraders died recently
Your green is florescent.
Don't let the big guy, the sins look after this.
I am sure you three are strong enough going after an abomination that is at least at the same level as demon Hendricksen.
I really want to see their arc though. And Gil growing up to his father's level of power, and he was like the only knight in the entire kingdom who could stand up to non-demon mode Mel.
>Hendy became 10 years younger after going into the demon mode
>reversed back after using the blood of gray demon
Will the same happen to Mel once he releases his full power?
I really want to see his older form when he will fight against Dreyfus.
This entire chapter made me extra glad I got on Nakaba's wild ride again. I wasn't so sure I wanted to go through another wild ride after KB.
I-it won't get as crazy, r-right? I still haven't recovered from his last crazy ride.
NnT powerlevels are much higher than KB, and near the end of KB main character was able to punch so hard that his opponent made a journey across the whole planet.
It will get crazy, much crazier than KB ever was.
>tfw waifu is 20 times your size
>tfw can't satisfy her sexually until you find a way to shrink her or grow yourself
Aye, I was hoping that his body actually melted and that dark figure is just his soul/remains trying to hold itself together, a shame he somehow still have his body.
was there anyone that actually thought she was a man?
She tried to act like a man because she is a failure and thought acting like a man gets her the respect she wants from other guys and her brother.
Now that she has power she doesn't need to hide her tits anymore.
I thought it was weird that Dreyfus slipped and then just jobbed but I didn't think it'd evolve to this.
Holy shit based Nakaba, I love it.
Nanatsu is slowly turning into my favorite running shonen as time passes
The only reason I thought it was so weird was because Dreyfus was supposed to be so strong, and he not only tripped but he also hit Elizabeth.
I dropped it after I couldn't think of a logical reason to explain it but holy shit this is amazing.
Hendricksen's master keikaku was just a minor part of Dreyfus's keikaku
I thought it was strange and I thought that he tripped because the strange being in his mind cause him to trip, I'm surprise that it was actually an act; maybe Dreyfus know and accept the strange being in his mind.
>Hendricksen's master keikaku was just a minor part of Dreyfus's keikaku
I don't see how anyone can hate Hendricksen after this reveal. The poor guy's just a pawn in Dreyfus' keikaku.
>I thought that he tripped because the strange being in his mind cause him to trip
That is basically what happened. Dreyfus isn't evil, the demonic entity inside him is.
And now that it controls him completely, shit's going down.
Oh, I thought he was consciously tripping from this chapter, guess I didn't read the chapter clearly enough, thank you.
Aye, and Gil, Hauser, and Spagetti Jr all have good memories of Hendy being a kind person to all of them aswell, poor Hendy.
I loved that scene transition between regular Spagetti Lord and Dark Spaghetti. That contrast drives home an eerie feeling of "who or what have I been living with all this time?"
It also reminds me of this scene, with that nice transition between outer and inner world during Gowther's intro arc.
Which we probably won't get in the anime, thanks to A-1 doing retarded things again.
I really hope Guila get to meet her father in the anime since she's actually there this time and there probably won't be any Dawn Roar showing up.
You can start reading from after or during freeing Ban if you just want to see the differences, they start removing and add stuff after that part. Though I still recommend reading from the start again, there's plenty of foreshadowing and signs all over the place.
From the beginning, since anime skips the little details that makes the series even better, plus you get Ban's gaiden as a whole. Read it at Redhawkscans' site too, otherwise you'll miss extra chapters.
>get Ban's gaiden as a whole
Oh yeah, the anime didn't do justice to the side-story at all. Definitely can't skip reading that chapter, though I guess anime viewers would be spoil that Ban is not actually the bad guy.
Gilthunder steps up his game to reaches his daddy's level
I hope this happen aswell, I want to see
little Gil take revenge for his father against Dreyfus, must've been a nightmare to be force to work for someone you know killed your father.
>People have been shitting on Dreyfus battle spaguetti for entire weeks
>Turns out it's not battle spaguetti but battle keikaku doori
Get fucking told assholes.
For me, he will always be the spaghetti king. Just look at him, he's made of spaghetti.
Watch them whine about how Dreyfus and Hendy being brought back immediately after the battle, in addition to POWERLEVELS, completely destroys the manga. Also, DROPPED. People are predictable in predictable ways.
Dont lie. We all know that we will eat shit until the end. Thats why we are eating Kubos Shit, that why we are eating FT Shit and thats why we will eat Nakabas Shit (even if it isnt that bad).
Somehow, the thought that Dreyfus is the bigger villain between him and Hendricksen when it seemed the opposite gives me weird feelings. I kind of like it but then I wonder if we're going to have to sit through another battle between the sins and those two again.
Mel: New outfit
Gowther: New outfit
so Guila can lick his belly whenever she wants
Diane: New outfit, reminiscent of her old one, now incorporating the cleavage sweater and cheeky hotpants.
Ban: Cool new coat
King: Shitty centuries old helmet
Such is life as King.
That shitty helmet can be use to see his best friend's ghost, that's good enough for King right now when everything's turning against him. I'm convince that Gowther just steal Guila's outfit and that outfit is actually meant for female.
By the end of the Manga Ban will have become Dante from DMC3.
He's on his way already.
>Arrogant asshole attitude
>Impossible to kill
>Even comes with his own Cerberus (I know it's a sansetukon)
>That shitty helmet can be use to see his best friend's ghost
You mean that shitty helmet can be used to make him think he sees his best friend's ghost. King is delusional and his suffering has only begun.
>is anything safe from niggerstream
Next year they will scan
Shokugeki no Soma
Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo
but drop them when they notice they aren't making enough money off of them.
Just wanted to comment on this page. I really enjoy Suzuki's sense of scene composition, perspective and lighting. This gorge enveloped in shadow with a small patch of light where Hendricksen's lies. It simply looks cool. Would like to see the unfiltered version in the tankobon, later on. Suzuki's art style is oftentimes sparse, but he has a knack for creating cool scenery shots with it.
Who knows if it even gets animated, it seems like they are either making a anime-only ending or end it with the invasion Arc. It doesnt seem like they will do another Season of it.
>King in the background
I think Nakaba decided that suffering should be Kings default expression from now on.
In which direction the new fairy forest is situated?
It's not in the east from Liones, r-right?
Otherwise imagine where the demon party bus will head out first.
The Dawn Roar dudes were all literally lopped in half, zero chance of surviving until the healing came from Liz.
Hauser just had half his torso blown away, so he must have clung to life just long enough to be healed.
New chapter out proper in RedHawk
Wasn't he just lucky and his wound weren't that fatal? Unless it's another setup to show that the mysterious dark thing has infected Hauser as well.
We already see part of the fairy world in King's flashback chapter, it look pretty similar to the fairy forest just with a magical tree that let you see the normal world.
Since I assume the purpose of the fairy forest is just to conceal the entrance to the fairy world, now that the water of life is gone, they just need to get those imp guys that Diane had to protect it.
He was just able to cling to life for some time, that's all.
He was probably almost near death when Liz healed him, and even her power wasn't enough to fully restore her body, same as it was with Veronica. It looks like she can't heal grave wounds completely right now.
Gowther mindfucked her into obedience to stabilize her demonic power.
I think he did the same to someone before and ended up getting his sin.
Or maybe to entire country.
I'm betting that by the end the fairies will close the gate for some reason but Elaine and King will stay behind in the normal world.
I don't think it's just one tree, there's like a world of mushroom in there and plenty of magical creatures. Then again, I'm not sure now that you mention that.
He probably did it to stop her from going berserk because of her demon blood, the romance is probably just a side effect.
In theory to stop her from going crazy with the demon blood.
But he is the Sin of Lust with a penchant for playacting romance scenes. Stopping her from going berserk is one thing, stopping her from having dinner with her otouto is another.
He did it to save her from the influence of her demon blood. Well, or he just uses this as an excuse to do lewd thing to her.
Also look at Gowther's conversation with Merlin during the scene of Hawk's revival. His speech bubble looks normal and not square. He possibly awakens his emotions that were sealed by the armor, but because he's an artificial being, his emotions are most likely fucked up beyond belief.
Halfbloods, most likely. This will also explain why fairies don't have anything against a human being their king.
I'm thinking that it's because of their strength, Helbram is pretty strong for a fairy and he's a lot bigger than the normal one.
I thought protecting the fountain is protecting the sacred tree since they exist together? Elaine just took over King's job after King went off to search for Helbram.
Nakaba's demonic designs are pretty fucking creative.
>cut demon to shreds
>he transforms into the swarm of demonic birds or bugs
Fucking knew it. It was so obvious from the get go, I don't see how no one else saw it coming. It explains why he killed the first great holy knight and it SHOULD have been the more obvious reason as to how he managed to beat Gowther, instead of making it look like he beat him with a sword in the gut. Fucking THIS motherfucker is what KOed Gowther in his head, and I wish it was written more obviously when he did. I hope everyone realizes how stupid they are now to have thought otherwise.
Aye, love how monstrous they look. I hope we get to see the demons from the anime OP in the manga sometime soon, the gigantic one look like it could make for a cool fight.
Half-giants are such a fucking retarded concept.
How does a man fucks a female giant? He can just enter his vagina and rub himself into her meaty canals, sure, but I really fucking doubt a human sized sperm is strong enough to make a female giant pregnant.
And let's consider the reverse scenario. The human female takes a giant cum bath because a male giant obviously is unable to fuck her but unless baby giants pop out human baby sized and they grow giant sized only after being born she's gonna literally burst before even the first month of pregnancy hits.
>It was so obvious from the get go, I don't see how no one else saw it coming.
Check the archives, mate. People saw it. Maybe they didn't know why Dreyfus would do it but they were very sure that he didn't spaghetti and hit Elizabeth accidentally.
>Hendy actually survived those odds
Aktually yes, because everyone thought Spaghetti knight legitimately beat Gowther with a single hole to the chest when the shadow in his head should have said something. Problem is it wasn't obvious enough for some morons that Hendy had a demon mode from that clue and frankly it could have been written more obviously that Hendy had a demon mode KOing Sins for him subconsciously before we were made to wait three freaking chapters to realize Gowther could actually manage damage well let alone walk around without a head like it was nothing.
That and Diane getting her ass stuck and then handed to her has always been my biggest and only gripes with this series.
It is a setting where shrinking magic/pills/mushrooms exist. Cross-species breeding is silly in the first place, but I have wondered if Mel really could impregnate Diane when she asked him to, and if she'd have to stay small or go back to her normal size during the pregnancy.
b8 harder m8
>same release schedule
>better trope usage
>both have swords and retardedly broken warriors
>Aktually yes, because everyone thought Spaghetti knight legitimately beat Gowther with a single hole to the chest when the shadow in his head should have said something.
What sort of alternate dimension /a/ did you come from, anon? No one here fucking thought that.
It goes further back to when Dreyfus KOed Gowther, people were too stupid to get that it wasn't really him just because it was written vaguely. I debated some seriously retarded spaghetticucks
>Hendy is the lowest of the demon powerlevel scale
>None of the holy knights could even scratch him
>The Sins could only do chip damage
>He even survived Revenge Counter
Seriously have no idea what will happen power-level wise in this manga when the real for reals demons start to pop-out everywhere when even the Sins who are supposed to be the strongest of the strong struggle with them.
I still don't understand that new epic maymay. I can only suppose it's related to cuckholding or NTR or something like that but that's about it.
Regarding Gowther, Merlin made that armor, right? Any suspicions that she had a hand in making Gowther himself? The original Merlin & Gowther being half-brothers keeps bugging me.
I'm afraid that all the other sins are going to take even more of a backseat to Meliodas once he gets his relic back. Considering he will definitely be the last one to get his back, and his strength without his relic seems comparable to most of the other Sins WITH theirs.
Aye, Merlin made the armor and the first thing she ask when she see Gowther is what happen to the armor, I think she either create Gowther or is the first to discover him.
What kind of sacred treasures would you like to see for each sin?
Apparently you do, because you don't get what the term, "generalization" means, genius. I'm not debating this. I'd rather debate why Gowther and Diane couldn't tank a little damage and made it look like spaghetti knight could beat them as easily as he did for as long as they were KOed, completely retconning their OP status as Sins.
Diane got the shittiest possible situation right off the bat, being stuck from the waist down and facing up against basically all the strongest motherfuckers in the kingdom at once. Then she tanked a fuckload of damage from a bunch of sources before going down anyway.
Gowther got counter-mindfucked by the Dark Spaghetti in Dreyfus' mind, and that's more why he lost than the actual wounds he took.
It was there the entire time.
Actually I think the one shot gives a good idea as to what Meliodas' treasure could be like.
(Sorry for the source, was just the first I found)
no, the flash back is 3 segmented, the little intro on the op, when they show all 7 sins together in armor, look for the guy on red armor
a side chapter, of when meliodas met huink, they show his treasure
That's just the thing though, you know? Their characters never revolved around getting their asses handed to them in any situation. It completely disillusions the idea that every knight in the world quakes in their boots at the sight of one. It would have made more sense for them to be shown how they overcome a disadvantageous situation like that, or at least in Gowthers case how Dark spaghetti didn't KO him seriously if he had gotten back up sooner than three chapters considering he can walk around without a head. Or at least having them get a hit in before disappointingly biting it.
We already saw Meliodas's treasure.
Just wait until they do optional side quests and find the strongest bestest weapons that, for no reason, are better than legendary weapons being talked about in the main story.
What is the absolute best group?
MPNFabsolutely butchered the shooting star scene's quality, and they don't translate SFX at all. Should I just read in English instead?
I actually remember you now. We just had this discussion like two weeks ago. Pretty much everyone told you it was shadow Dreyfus that took out Gowther and you were the only one who kept insisting we were lead to believe it was normal Dreyfus who took him out with a stab.
Ehhh, it's not sacred, but Meliodas' moralfaggotry made the dagger scene moot. Maybe Ban could have stabbed his way through the Capital of the Dead arc otherwise.
Dreyfus fucking played everyone. And he got through with it.
He puppeteered his best Friend.
He killed his Brother.
He used his Son.
Played the Sins.
Turned an entire Kingdom and their Knights around.
Man, how elaborate was his Plan?He fucking calculated everything including peoples emotions.
In the end, Hendricksen was defeated, but Dreyfus lost NOTHING but got everything together to fulfill his plan.
He made a fool out of everyone. And this almost feels like breaking the 4th Wall cause we all believed it was Hendricksen.
Would make sense with Helbram's ghost sensing something wrong with Hendy.
It's not really about being a Mascot.Nakaba made clear that Hawk is somehow related to Mel's past and Danafor.
If Hironobu Sakaguchi can see on first glance that something is up with Hawk, then we should fucking do so too.
That person will be the second coming of Ruin, damage wise.
In hindsight, it seems like his grab is putting extra stress on the wound so she'd bleed some more. Ouch. And it all fits so nicely.
The recent revelations feel great, since the put many of the jarring discrepancies in Dreyfus' actions into a different perspective. It was obvious that something was amiss, but it's always nice to finally hear the other shoe drop, so to speak.
I'm looking forward to his full back story. Will be interesting to see when and how his corruption or possession started. Same for Hendricksen. Theirs seems to be a tragic story, since both of them appear to have started out as good men.
We have that new novel that sheds info about how it was 10 years ago, and according to the storyline, Dreyfus and Hendy were supposedly still good people by then.
Seems like their "other" self are still good men. Probably means they'll get redeemed in the future.
PLS. I NEED ANOTHER SCAN RIGHT NOW. I'M GETTING FUCKED SIDEWAYS
Suzuki is good at drawing creepy stuff. Hendricksen's demonic smile and earlier the page with Dark Spaghetti look pretty unsettling if you keep looking at those for a while.
Hauser's pompadour game is stronk.
Not exactly as King does it, just switching between different sizes while generally staying as a sword.
Relaxed? Sword will appear as a small dagger.
Serious? Powerful longsword.
Assmad? Huge blade that draws his demonic power.
Dreyfus' profile looks awfully similar to the top demon's one. Will he turn out like one?
Well, I'm glad RHS released their scans. The other translations didn't make a nick of a sense. Here it's quite clear that Hendricksen is oblivious to the existence of Dreyfus. He probably completely hates Dreyfus and is not aware that he's being manipulated.
Evil Dreyfus seems like some sort of mental parasite, invoking memories to get people to do his work.
>Evil Dreyfus seems like some sort of mental parasite
If that's true, it would explain the thing Dale had.
>He probably completely hates Dreyfus
Why the hell would you even think that when the first thing he does before going full demon is lament on how he couldn't share that moment with his butt buddy.
It was his last moment being human, plus after waking up from his dream he mentioned that it was only memories of days past. He woke up without acknowledging Dreyfus' existence, only believing that whatever happened to him was luck.
A lot of the interactions he had with Dreyfus don't make sense if they were cooperative, like how he threatened to end Dreyfus like how he killed his son.
On the other hand, Dreyfus, denied him his rest and asked him to fulfill his mission. He was pulling strings on Hendy the whole time, but clearly not directly and only through his subconsciousness.
Yes, it's clear they're not actually working together and that Hendy is just Dreyfus' puppet but Hendy has been shown to still consider Dreyfus a friend even though he's apparently been antagonizing him for the past 10 years.
>Dreyfus fooled everyone in the kingdom
>just restored his friend back to full health and got shit done
Best goddamn villain i can remember in quite a while.
