Sorry for being such a shameless newfag, but how does BD/DVD regionalizing work? I really like Cross Ange and was considering picking up the first Blu Ray volume, but I don't know if it would play on my player.

Also, for products on amazon.co.jp, is there an easy way to figure out whether the printing is the [limited pressing] one? I'm assuming unless it says explicitly it wouldn't be, but I'm kind of lost here. A large part of the reason I'd want to get it would be for the included soundtrack, so it's pretty important.

Most animu BDs aren't region locked, because there really isn't any point. The japanese BDs are the MOST expensive prints anywhere by far, so why restrict the flow of that?

And in the BD locking scheme, Japan and NA share the same region, so locking is moot for most of us. Eurofags and ausfags get fucked though.
