>24 hours later and I'm still traumatized
It's not going to get better, is it?
Never forget, she got crippled for our sins.
Still waiting for those Extra LN chapter scans.
Don't worry, trust our hero
Are you me?
I usually shitpost on Yuusha threads all the time, but I don't want to think about any of that anymore. I feel empty inside every time I am reminded of what happened next episode.
Rewatched it again. Love it and cried a bit.
Takahiro will save Christmas for sure!
I feel like I wouldn't be satisfied with the ending as long as she isn't fine again, or at least some kind of retaliation for her
I'm not sure how I will last until thursday.
You've got guts.
I cry like a faggot everytime i try to rewatch Karin's Mankai Webm.
Am I the only one who already watched it at least 6 times? This scene is burned into my mind.
As hard as it was, I did rewatch it like 5 or so times.
I think I even memorized their dialogue by now.
I want to tell jokes and do stupid shit in front of Karin as she expressionlessly stares into infinity while whoever is around tries to suppress their laughter.
>start Komm süßer tod at 13:54
>The beat and lyrics sync perfectly
I didn't ask for this
Now I'm too sad to play games on a Friday night, have no friends to hang out with and already watched this week's amaburi ep, so no comedic healing there...
have to wait until Sunday for cross ange;_;
I want to suddenly punch Karin in the tummy with all my strength when she least expects it. Just to see how she reacts.
She's not dead, jeez. This is the life she chose. She'll work past it. She's going to be the most awesomely functional paraplegic deafblind person in the world. Just watch.
>6 more days
Do you believe in Yuna?
I can't listen to track 29 anymore. It no longer sounds cool.
Her whimpers of pain throughout the whole fight, my heart just can't do it
I only watched the stream and then horriblesubs. Right now I'm trying to forget I watched it because fuck Takahiro.
Seriously, I would have been better off if I had just dismissed this as another cute girls doing cute things
>Eyes wide open in fear
>Eat well, sleep well
fuck fuck fuck
I'm wondering what the ending is going to be. Frankly, there doesn't seem to be a way 'out' for anyone involved: My best guess is that it's going to end with Yuuna going - "Yeah, sometimes you do need to make sacrifices." - before she punches Togo's head off.
Or, more charitably, Togo dies saving everyone, and Yuuna becomes a cripple without hard feelings. Then the 21-fairy girl turns up in a giant full-body armor and nukes everyone.
I'll absolutely serious, though. Working through despair and adversity is great. Coming to terms with reality and wresting what you can back demonstrates incredibly strength of human spirit. Would you rather see her wither away in bed both in body and spirit? Nothing would tickle me more than to see Karin doing one handed pull ups. Fuck disability right in the ass.
Everything will be fine right? Karin will get better. It'll all be okay. All they need to do is transplant some eyes and do ear surgery. There is nothing medically wrong with their bodies. It can be fixed. It won't end like this. It can't.
Reminder that Sonoko is or will become Shinju-sama for the finale.
Yeah, and Sonoko will grow new legs.
All she needs to do is sleep well and eat well.
Likely to succeed if she tries.
Dunno how Itsuki is going to give her proper greetings though. No happy end for Itsuki I guess.
At first I was so shocked that I thought so too.
"No way it's gonna to stay that way"
Then, about half hour later,
Oops, posted that in the wrong thread:
If Yuna and Togo fucked, none of this would have happened. You don't just end the world a week after you discover sex.
This was entirely yuna's fault.
Sonoko just pulled her legs in, she isn't even missing any limbs, I bet. It was all a joke.
Also, Tougou's leg condition passed away long ago, she's likely to walk again if she tries.
And her memories came back too, proof:the ribbon.
And Itsuki will sing something in the second BD.
Taisha never lied, it's all temporary. You'll see. Karin will sing us awesome Karaoke and Fuu will get rid of that old eyepatch soon.
You'll all see. And you'll laugh at how you thought it's permanent. What a silly idea.
>"Likely"? "Try"? This is fucking stupid.
>HERO CLUB FIVE TENETS!
It's too much for me. Just too much.
>[But then, in the worse case, the world will...]
>[So... What? Are you telling me to become hero and fight Wasshi and that friend...?]
>Sonoko shot back with a serious face.
>That was the moment that calm and gentle girl's anger manifested clearly.
>It was their price for hiding the truth from the girls.
>The Taisha's people kept begging Sonoko.
>However, Sonoko never transformed.
>Returning to a calm expression, like always, she gazed up at the sky and observed the clouds.
>[... So that's what I told those guys~]
>[I expected no less]
>The usual exchange unfolded between the two.
I can't ...
You guys have to face the fact that YuYuYu won't end on a happy note. The second Apocalypse is happening and the worst part is, only those five get to experience the full brunt of it.
Wow, the Taisha really have been doing some interesting research.
Maybe they want to live despite everything
Not everyone is fucking pic related
>Yuuna punched her into friendship
>Everything is going to be fine now
>Sange kicks in >As a punishment for rebellion, Shinju literally takes away everything from Tougou
I think anon just wants to give them the option. That way, if you're going to despair, you can despair by yourself without dragging the entire world down with you.
It's the only kind of ending that makes any sense narratively, unless you really think the last episode is going to just be a boss fight with nothing unexpected happening at all.
Shinju-sama protects humanity because that is what the gods who make up Shinju-sama decided to do before merging together and presumably dying. It's their will that created the barrier. Shinju-sama maintains it.
>FEED ME LITTLE GIRLS!
>Shinju is Sybil from PP
>like Sibil, it seeks out worthy individuals(girls with aptitude) to slowly assimilate them and expand itself
>It only started doing it few years ago, when the passage of time corrupted it enough to make it this sinister
>it doesn't actually need to make a weak point in the barrier, but it's a convenient excuse to unsuspecting Taisha
Maybe something completely crazy.
Like at the end, they repel the vertices but the barrier is permanently damaged and Shinju-sama is dying. The tree sacrifices all of it's remaining power and sends all five Heroes back in time 300 years ago, to when the Vertex first attacked. Cut to black, announcement for season 2.
oh she became useful
I bet he's using the most recent redub by Arianne. The dubstep version even.
I mean exactly which version of the original track. Some run a second longer than others or might have a slight amount of delay in the beginning, which can throw off a beat.
daily reminder to all those fuckers that go to other threads saying this is a good SoL anime to kill yourselves.
There's also a difference between version with or without a party at the end.
Why doesn't Shinju-sama just turn all the Vertexes into heroes?
Every time they attack they get more and more crippled.
Itsuki is a pure girl who deserved none of this.
And the version with or without the guitar, although there's also one that mixes the guitar and the voices. I prefer the film version myself. The voices seem more reminiscent of Instrumentality though.
Yeah, I prefer the movie cut too; it's hard to beat that initial impression it gives you.
Which is why I'm excited to see how KST works with Yuu3.
A couple weeks ago I was thinking that the whole thing might just be a game of Defence of the Tower between bored gods, but that does not seem too likely anymore, there's just too much suffering for that.
What's that from? Google can't seem to read it because it's a pencil sketch.
Search for the first part of the filename in pixiv and you'll find it. It's a particularly neat artist.
My god, that's beautiful. Thank you.
I'm shivering with anticipation.
Here, you can also watch it from her POV.
There ya go, with sound and everything.
Spirit companions actually useful when?
Oh god, it matches up really well. The start with destroying the Vertexes is reminiscent of Instrumentality absorbing everyone's souls and crosses appearing everywhere, and the often misheard line of
>So with sadness in my heart, feel the best thing I could do
>Is end it all and live (leave) forever
Fits with their life as a Yuusha so well.
>Ep 11 makes me depressed
>only way of coping with it is to think up shit that'd piss off everybody else in the thread
Yuuki Yuuna: After the End
>Karin wakes up and find she's in bed, assume she's in hospital.
>She can feel flower's, assume her friend's in the hero club are alive and beat the vertex
>Ask aloud if anybody's there, thank's the person for holding her hand.
>At first think it's one of the hero club member's but realise the hand is alot larger and ask if its one of the Taisha
>Get's kissed, more hands start touching her
>Start's screaming, timeskip after 5 months of karin being raped by the Taisha
>Phone is given to Karin due to vertex attack and she manages to see/hear thanks to armor
>See's Yuuki with new hero's, is overjoyed, hug's her and ask Yuuki where the rest of the hero club are
>"Eh? My name's not Yuuki"
>"Hey sempai, we found a shrine next to your bed that had 3 girl's on there. Who were they?
You mean Air II. That's a good selection.
Nice, unlike me you got the timing right
They grant new moves to Yuushas, such as Ungaikyo's magic shield in this episode and image related.
I can't wait for the other girls to become crippled as badly as Carin!
I by no means hated her, but before this episode she was kind of background-y to me. I liked how she opened up to the Yuusha-bu and she was cool as a character, just not to the extent of the others.
Then this fucking episode turns that on it's head.
>I can't believe how invested I became with these characters. I'M HAVING TROUBLE LETTING GO
Am I the only one finding funny how this is the reaction to a show by the AgK author when his manga usually gets complaints about the opposite problem (that it's hard to get invested when everyone dies all the time)? Either he's improved or it's the rest of the staff doing most of the job.
Shut up Micchy no one likes you.
Doesn't mean I hate Tougo though
He's clearly a pretty great author if the only thing that keeps people from investing in AgK characters is their imminent deaths. With YuYuYu, he just isn't letting them die, but forcing them into a suffering worse than death. And in doing so, he can both surpass death AND allow attachment to form, which makes for quite the deadly combination.
I'm a fucking pleb for saying this but I would prefer it to the status quo
Everything will be diejoubu and they will marry and live happily ever after
Also, remember when we were all so certain that someone was going to die, and people were calling it a copout and bullshit when no one actually did?
We've reached the point where that death would have been a blessing.
>If he eats the offerings as sustenance, then no, that shit's gone for good.
What if this is the only way for Shinju to keep standing?
All that madness Tougou pulled would be for nothing.
Which would cause her to go even more mad and wreck shit for good, especially now that Yuuna wouldn't be there to stop her anymore.
That's also why I don't believe we'll be getting a sacrificial end. It just wouldn't line up with things properly.
I just finished Nanoha StrikerS (fucking loved it) and realized how similar Yuuna/Mimori is to Nanoha/Fate.
Now all the Yuushas need is a daughteru and we're good.
Now that we have seen all the mankai forms, which one is the most beautiful?
I'll go with Karin
Just to spite you.
What I meant was that in StrikerS they were all rabu-rabu and it reminded me of Yuuna and Mimori.
But of course, their first meetings and the way they became friends are really different.
I'M WATCHING KARIN-CHAN, FULL BLOOM
I'M HOPING SHE WILL SOON EXPLODE
INTO ONE BILLION TASTES AND TUNES
Not everything needs a sequel, though if they can make the movie nice I'd enjoy that.
I actually like Bad Ends and series ending. Further seasons can drag on or ruin the whole thing entirely. I'd much rather things find completion in this season and stay as is.
I'm no a fan of giant mecha-arms so I go with this.
Works just fine for me.
Want me to reupload it for you?
Yeah, just like those Milky Holmes seasons. Heh.
Fuu's is pretty majestic as well.
But I think I'm going with Karin.
I guess she didn't see that one coming.
Why would you want to rewatch that? You a glutton for punishment or something?
LIKE THE SOPRANOS ENDING ALL OVER AGAIN
I don't like it, especially with the anime getting to a cross roads of either destroy all Vertexes forever or destroy all everything forever, there's not really anything to advance from.
Adapting Wasshi's backstory might work, but who knows if they can even fill up a full season with that, and the suffering just isn't the same.
I mean, they could do an actual SoL series, but that'd also be pretty hollow at this point.
I'd just rather it end properly.
I'm not watching it because I like the suffering, it's her scene of glory, and what a scene it is. I just want to be able to appreciate it fully, even if that means crying like a bitch with every rewatch.
This should be a catch phrase, cause someone says it after everything he makes.
>yfw Takahiro defies all odds and saves christmas with a good end
Gotta admit guys I had a pretty nice rod going during karins fight but I came way too hard once she said both eyes and ears. I should have paced myself for the monologue after, it was magnificent.
That was my post at the bottom.
Back then I never thought things would turn out like this. I would've just preferred she stayed useless. I wouldn't wish her current state even on my enemies.
>>Itsuki becomes mute
>>Fuu becomes blind
Sumi certainly aged, which begs a question: If only pure little girls can be heroes, doesn't that mean that when the Yuushas grow up in a few years they will stop being heroes and lose their faeries, letting them finally commit suicide to escape the suffering?
When transformed, your disabilities are compensated for. We saw this at first with Togo's spider legs and in action with Karin gaining some accessories to allow her to hear and see while transformed. This means that, at least to an extent, they can gain their senses back through transforming.
That means Sonoko will essentially be a mecha musume to compensate.
No, growing up has nothing to do with heroing; they just happened to be the most suitable heros around. Sonoko still has her fairies and the ability to transform, remember; the Taisha just hold onto her phone because she's way too strong.
My post was wrapped poorly; what I meant was that "Fuu becoming blind" was half-true.
Come in! Place your bets! How is it going to end?
> The hero system is terminated (thanks to yuuna) and everything goes back to daijobu
> They keep on being cripple troopers
> Sonoko was lying and the effects are temporary
> One or two of the girls sacrifice their own lives/integrity to give the others a decent life
> Universe resets
> The combat ends normally and after that we get a 10 minute long elaboration (by sonoko) on the Gods' War that sets an upcoming movie
Komm Susser Tod
Gin did say at the beginning of chapter 5 that they could only be heroes when they were still kids.
That's said, there's no way they can live until adulthood and and still able to move around enough to kill themselves.
1, 4, 5, or 7
>can you keep up with me?
Might be seeing things, but when Tougou woke up in the hospital after 2 years ago, the ceiling looked like an eye.
I request someone make a collage of Karin from throughout the series.
You don't even have to read the LN, Sonoko tells them this in episode 8.
Anybody ever did a mashup of episode 10, when Togo discovers the outside world and destroys the walls with "Komm Süsser Tod", similar to this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ne-rcBZrL4c
I like how Fuu's mankai looks like some paladin armor and I think it fits perfectly to her sword, but Itsuki's priestess mankai is also lovely so I don't want to decide between the two.
It's possible that their disabilities are linked to their faeries or something, so that when they stop being heroes they regain what they lost. That would be a cop-out though.
Woah woah woah, wait a minute guys, remember how the poster for the show foreshadowed everyone's disabilities? Look at Karin's pose. Her right arm and leg are stiff and she's in the same pose she made while she went Mankai this episode.
we just didn't listen. We could've prevented this, but we didn't listen
>for no reason
It's called purity, anon.
