I'm wondering what the ending is going to be. Frankly, there doesn't seem to be a way 'out' for anyone involved: My best guess is that it's going to end with Yuuna going - "Yeah, sometimes you do need to make sacrifices." - before she punches Togo's head off.

He's clearly a pretty great author if the only thing that keeps people from investing in AgK characters is their imminent deaths. With YuYuYu, he just isn't letting them die, but forcing them into a suffering worse than death. And in doing so, he can both surpass death AND allow attachment to form, which makes for quite the deadly combination.

I don't like it, especially with the anime getting to a cross roads of either destroy all Vertexes forever or destroy all everything forever, there's not really anything to advance from.

Adapting Wasshi's backstory might work, but who knows if they can even fill up a full season with that, and the suffering just isn't the same.

I mean, they could do an actual SoL series, but that'd also be pretty hollow at this point.
