What are your "dream" anime adaptations? Absolutely anything's possible
>"The Hobbit" from Studio Ghibli
>Directed by Yoshifumi Kondo
Galaxy Angel game adaptation by UFOTABLE with Amagami style endings for each girl
I'm amused that you mention both The Pillows: The Manga and a property that coincidentally shares the title of a Pillows album.
Also, Little Busters had an anime just last year, you bum. It's a good thing that it wasn't done by KyoAni because it means they're done dealing with Keyshit
Dunno if I can think of any favourites where anime would be an appropriate medium. The only thing I need to die happy is Confederacy of Dunces directed by Wes Anderson.
Maybe... Iaian M. Banks's Culture universe done by Watanabe?
Legend of Zelda by Ghibli:
not based on any pre-existing game in the franchise have it be its own anime original work with it's own Link, Zelda, Hyrule, what have you.
Pokespec RGB arc by BONES:
Want well animated pokemon battles with the good Red this time
this series http://exhentai.org/g/524799/2985d8c2f6/ by Shaft:
cute RPG heroes doing cute things
Banana no Nana (uncancelled)
no clue what studio could do it (closest I can think of is Gainax, but you know how they are with ecchi adaptions) should have all the energy, action, insanity, emotion, and fanservice as the manga.
What we need is Sanderson. Stormlight Archives please.
Edgelords get BTFO'd by the king of moralfags
Trigun Maximum by either Trigger or Mappa. Or maybe Gonzo, they seem to keep coming back from the dead.
Log Horizon S3 by Satelight.
Chrome Shelled Regios movies and series by KyoAni. Especially the novels dealing only with Zuellni.
Jitsu wa Watashi wa... by Shaft.
I read Leviathan Wakes by James Corey recently and found it pretty entertaining through and through.
I guess the City of Ember would really, really fit Ghibli's style really well. Or maybe Miyazaki's style.
>Underground city where the only light is artificial
>Resources running out like the vaults in Fallout
>Ruled by fat, privileged mayor who would look really nicely grotesque
>MC is a young girl adventurer and young engineer boy
>Lots of flowing chase scenes
Speaking of the Supernaturalist, Shade's Children or The Keys to the Kingdom would make great anime series or movies. Though I can't really think of a good studio for them.
Also, I was going to make a post about Discworld being adapted and why it could and couldn't work, and how a series set in the Assassin's School would be great, in the apparently not-anime thread about literature turned into anime.
It would probably feature a new Emperor's Swords chapter who are all basically samurai.
Wasn't that last done by Deen?
Battling Boy movie directed by Koji Morimoto
>otto carius: tigers in the mud by miyazaki from his deathbed winning oscars with otto himself receiving the award.
Eiko Tanaka said she might do it if they get enough support on kekstarter
Biter Virgin by Madhouse.
Hell, any fucking studio doing Bitter Virgin would be fine.
And it's only fucking 4 volumes, so 12 episodes is something that can be easily done.
Just make it already, goddamn it.
Gainax/Trigger for Biscuit Hammer. The art is too unique, I think any other studio would streamline it.
Onepunch-man needs the best heads and hands in the industry, and a big fucking budget. Possibly collaboration, or a new studio formed right for this project alone.
Boku girl is... well, anyone, with a budget.
Some manga needs that stiff freezeframe style that shonen studios are good at. Biscuit Hammer is one of those.
Hayate x Blade
Same cast as the drama CDs.
I don't know about which studio, or director or anything else, but I want some good action scenes.
Monster Musume by anyone as long as they aren't garbage, I don't even need to watch it, i just want merchandise of my waifu
>House of Leaves anime
>Entire episodes are just powerpoint presentations of text with footnotes
>The Whalestoe Letters are spoken word played backwards and jumbled up
>Johnny Truant sections are represented as the camera just recording him reading the Zampano report with zero angle changes, his room just becomes more cluttered every episode
>0 BDs sold
I think she could be done well, you just need a good budget, You would need a decent team and budget anyways to animate the other girls, i would imagine all of the monster bits would be a pain to animate
by Production IG unless someone can think of a better one
Trent Reznor and Chu Ishikawa. Final episode ED: Be Human from the GitSSAC OST sadly I'm probably the only person ITT to have read this one
I want an adaptation of Moebius and Jodorowsky's Incal series, by whoever has enough budget and balls. All the better if it's French-Japanese colab and Jodorowsky himself is directing/writing.
>Log Horizon S3 by Satelight
Dude, this thread is for 'dream' adaptations. Despite what the nostalgia-fags(for lack of a better term) say, S1 by Satelight wasn't very good animation-wise and they aren't a very good studio in general. For LH, I'd say Sunrise or some other studio that DOESN'T try to force it's own style in their adaptations(eg. Shaft, etc.) would be the Ideal studio to adapt it.
B.P.R.D or Hellboy done Ghibli or trigger.
Completion of 12 Kingdoms.
Completion of Spice and Wolf.
Adaption of Redwall by Ghibli.
Adaption of Terranigma by Bones.
Adaption of Asura's Wrath by 1998 Madhouse with a massive budget.
